This study aims to examine the influence of servant leadership (SL) on perceived organizational support (POS), job satisfaction (JS), job embeddedness (JE), and turnover intentions (TI) among private bank employees in West Jakarta. The research is motivated by the high turnover rate in the banking industry, despite organizational efforts to strengthen leadership and employee support. A total of 154 employees participated by completing an online Likert-scale questionnaire, and the data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS 4.1.0.9. The findings reveal that SL positively and significantly influences POS (β=0.667), JS (β=0.585), and JE (β=0.579). Furthermore, POS (β=−0.328), JE (β=−0.386), and JS (β=−0.220) significantly and negatively affect TI. Predictive relevance is supported with Q² values ranging from 0.283 to 0.604, while model fit testing using SRMR yielded 0.050 (saturated) and 0.127 (estimated). Bootstrapping was conducted with 5,000 resamples, two-tailed testing, bias-corrected accelerated (BCa), and 95% confidence intervals. Theoretically, this research strengthens the literature by demonstrating that SL enhances workplace relationships through improved POS, JS, and JE, which subsequently reduces turnover intentions. Practically, the findings provide implications for banking management to adopt servant leadership as a strategic approach to employee retention. Nevertheless, despite high levels of POS, JS, and JE, some respondents still report turnover intentions, indicating the presence of unmodeled external factors such as career opportunities, workload, or industry dynamics. This study is limited by its cross-sectional design and one-time self-report measurement; thus, generalizations and causal inferences should be made with caution.

Acne vulgaris is one of the most prevalent dermatological disorders in Indonesia, often affecting adolescents and young adults. This condition not only causes visible skin lesions but also has a profound impact on psychological well-being, leading to decreased confidence and reduced quality of life. Effective management of acne vulgaris requires consistent use of prescribed medications, with doxycycline being one of the commonly recommended systemic antibiotics. This study aimed to evaluate the level of patient adherence to doxycycline therapy for acne vulgaris at Roels Clinic, Ponorogo, during the period of March to April 2025, and to identify factors that may influence this adherence. A descriptive research design was utilized, employing a structured questionnaire distributed to patients who met specific inclusion criteria. The adherence level was assessed using a 5-point Likert scale, and the average percentage was computed and classified into compliance categories. The findings revealed that among 50 respondents, 70.6% demonstrated a “fairly high” level of adherence to doxycycline treatment. These results suggest that most patients follow the prescribed regimen appropriately. High adherence is expected to improve therapeutic outcomes, accelerate recovery, and minimize the potential for antibiotic resistance, which remains a growing concern in dermatological and public health settings.

This study aims to examine the effect of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) disclosure and energy price volatility on stock returns of energy sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2022–2024 period. A quantitative approach was employed using multiple linear regression as the analytical method. The sample consisted of 10 energy companies selected through purposive sampling, based on the availability of sustainability reports, stock price data, and research completeness. The results indicate that ESG disclosure has a positive and significant effect on stock returns, suggesting that companies with higher sustainability transparency tend to gain stronger investor confidence. Energy price volatility also shows a positive and significant effect on stock returns, reflecting the sector’s sensitivity to global energy price dynamics. Simultaneously, both variables significantly influence stock returns, although the relatively low coefficient of determination implies that other factors should also be considered. This study highlights the importance of integrating internal factors (ESG) and external factors (energy price volatility) for investors when making investment decisions in the energy sector.

This study discusses teachers’ communication strategies in building interpersonal relationships with students at SDN Kartika Sejahtera 02. Effective communication is considered the main key to creating a safe, comfortable, and violence-free learning environment, enabling students to develop optimally. The research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation, involving the principal, two teachers, and several students as informants. The findings reveal that teachers applied two-way empathetic communication strategies that emphasized openness and personal approaches tailored to students’ characteristics and emotional needs. In addition to verbal communication, teachers also employed nonverbal symbols such as facial expressions, eye contact, voice intonation, and educational touch, all of which fostered emotional closeness. These strategies were proven to increase students’ sense of safety, active participation, self-confidence, and trust, while also strengthening teacher–student relationships. In conclusion, appropriate interpersonal communication not only improves the learning climate and prevents conflict at school but also plays a vital role in shaping students’ positive character. These findings are expected to serve as a practical reference for developing teachers’ communication skills in elementary education.

Urinary incontinence is a common medical condition among older women, characterized by the involuntary leakage of urine due to impaired bladder control. This condition not only affects physical health but also has significant psychosocial impacts, including reduced self-confidence and quality of life. Non-pharmacological interventions, particularly pelvic floor muscle exercises, have been recognized as effective strategies to strengthen the bladder sphincter and pelvic floor muscles, thereby enhancing urinary retention. The present study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of pelvic floor muscle exercises in reducing the frequency of urinary incontinence among elderly women. An experimental design with a one-group pretest–posttest approach was employed. The study population consisted of 64 elderly women receiving care at the Gunung Pati Public Health Center in Semarang, from which 45 participants were selected through purposive sampling based on inclusion criteria. Data were collected using structured questionnaires and clinical observation to assess the frequency of urinary incontinence episodes before and after the intervention. Statistical analysis was performed using the Wilcoxon signed-rank test, and the results indicated a significant reduction in urinary incontinence episodes following the exercise program, with a p-value of <0.001. These findings suggest that pelvic floor muscle exercises are a simple, cost-effective, and non-invasive intervention to manage urinary incontinence in elderly women. Implementing such exercises in community health programs can play a vital role in promoting the well-being and independence of older women. The study recommends incorporating pelvic floor muscle training into routine elderly care services and encourages further research with larger samples and longer follow-up periods to confirm the long-term benefits.

Adolescents are a group at risk of emotional and social changes, including the impact of verbal abuse that can lower self-confidence. At SMP Negeri 16 Palangka Raya, some students often face taunts, insults, and hurtful labels from their peers. Some students exhibit shy behavior, withdraw, and have low self-confidence. Verbal abuse is often seen as a joke, but it can negatively affect the psychological condition of adolescents. Positive attitudes are believed to help adolescents face verbal abuse more constructively. This study aims to analyze the relationship between attitudes and adolescents' self-confidence in dealing with verbal abuse. The study used a quantitative method with a correlational design and a cross-sectional approach. A total of 55 students from classes VIII-1 and VIII-2 were selected as samples using total sampling technique. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed using Spearman Rank test. The results showed that all respondents had a positive attitude, but 81.8% had only moderate self-confidence. The p-value of 0.007 (< 0.05) indicates a significant relationship between attitude and self-confidence. This suggests that positive attitude alone is not enough, and emotional education and psychosocial support are needed to improve adolescents' self-confidence in dealing with verbal abuse.

This study was motivated by the low ability of seventh grade students at SMP Dharma Karya UT to present descriptive texts orally, which is indicated by their lack of fluency, unclear pronunciation and intonation, and low self-confidence. This condition is aggravated by monotonous learning models that make students feel bored. One alternative to overcome this problem is the application of the Teaching at The Right Level (TaRL) learning model. This model focuses on the students’ actual ability levels so that the content and learning activities can be adjusted to their readiness to learn. This research used a quantitative method with a Randomized Demonstration Group Posttest Only Design and involved two groups: an experimental class and a control class. The sample consisted of 53 seventh grade students of SMP Dharma Karya UT. The research instrument was a test of oral descriptive text presentation skills. The results show a significant effect of applying the TaRL model on students’ ability to present descriptive texts orally. The experimental class receiving TaRL obtained an average posttest score of 47.8 out of 80, while the control class only scored 34.29 out of 80. The t-test showed tcount (2.45) > ttable (1.66) at a 5% significance level, so H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. It can therefore be concluded that the application of the TaRL model is more effective than conventional teaching in improving students’ oral presentation skills of descriptive texts.

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Unit Dose Drugs Dispensing Sistem (UDDDS) based on the SERVQUAL theory at the Inpatient Pharmacy Installation of RS “X”. The research method used a quantitative design with SERVQUAL questionnaires given to pharmacists and nurses, supplemented by in-depth interviews to explore perceptions of the UDDDS implementation. Data analysis was conducted using univariate, bivariate, and multivariate methods. The results of the study indicate that all SERVQUAL dimensions significantly influence the quality of UDDDS services. Based on multiple linear regression analysis, the dimension of Assurance had the most dominant influence on service quality, with a B value of 8.464 and a contribution of 35%. This was followed by Empathy (B = 7.475, 31%), Tangibles (B = 7.547, 28%), Responsiveness (B = 4.847, 20%), and Reliability (B = 3.475, 16%). These findings suggest that the Assurance dimension, which includes trust and confidence in healthcare professionals, plays a crucial role in improving service quality at the Inpatient Pharmacy Installation. Overall, the findings indicate a significant relationship between the implementation of UDDDS and improvements in hospital service quality, particularly in terms of timely medication administration, reduced medication returns, and increased healthcare worker satisfaction. The reduction in medication returns reflects the efficiency of the drug distribution sistem, while the increased satisfaction of healthcare workers shows that UDDDS contributes to better service quality. These findings emphasize the importance of strengthening the Assurance dimension through improving the competence, ethics, and professionalism of healthcare workers. Additionally, integrating UDDDS into the hospital's quality indicators is essential for establishing a sustainable quality culture. This will support the overall improvement of service quality at the hospital.

This study investigates the role of peer social support in enhancing self-confidence among adolescents at the Amal Wanita An-Nur Orphanage in Depok, Indonesia. Adolescents living in orphanages often experience psychological challenges, including low self-confidence and limited social interaction, which can affect their personal growth and future orientation. The objective of this research is to explore how peer social support contributes to strengthening self-confidence and to identify the forms, driving factors, and obstacles of such support. A qualitative descriptive method was applied through observation, interviews, and documentation, involving seven informants consisting of the orphanage head, caregivers, and adolescents. Findings show that three types of support emotional, appraisal, and informational play a dominant role in fostering self-confidence. Emotional support was expressed through empathy and active listening, appraisal support was provided through recognition of achievements and encouragement, while informational support involved advice and constructive feedback. Meanwhile, instrumental and network support were less emphasized due to limited resources. Despite the presence of barriers such as feelings of inferiority, miscommunication, and differences in emotional readiness, peer support proved effective in motivating adolescents, strengthening their resilience, and fostering positive self-perception. The implications suggest the need for structured peer-support programs, facilitated by caregivers and social workers, to maximize adolescents’ potential and prepare them for future challenges. Thus, this study demonstrates that peer social support serves not only as a protective factor but also as a social learning tool that shapes adolescents' interpersonal skills. Targeted programs can increase self-confidence, expand social relationships, and create a more supportive and inclusive nursing home environment.

This study aims to examine the implementation of the cooperative learning model Think Pair Share (TPS) in improving students’ learning outcomes in Arabic language learning at Pesantren Paqusatta, as well as to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in its application. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method and is categorized as field research. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and document studies using a descriptive technique. The findings reveal that the implementation of the Think Pair Share model in Arabic language learning is effective in enhancing students’ learning outcomes and engagement. Students became more active and confident through the three main stages of the Think Pair Share model: first, providing a question or problem for students to think about individually (think); second, asking them to discuss in pairs (pair) to share answers and refine their understanding; and third, selecting several pairs to present their discussion results in front of the class (share), followed by correction and feedback. The supporting factors include providing opportunities for students to think independently, encouraging peer discussion, presenting ideas in front of the class, fostering collaboration among students, accelerating comprehension of learning materials, and helping improve Arabic speaking skills. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors consist of limited vocabulary, difficulties in constructing sentences, students’ shyness or lack of confidence and fear of making mistakes when speaking, the need for more time in discussion and presentation, and limited facilities.

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of storytelling and movie discussion methods in improving students' English speaking skills at SMA Negeri 12 Makassar. The background of this research departs from the low active participation and courage of students in using oral English in class. The method used is a hands-on practice-based learning approach, where students are asked to tell stories orally and discuss short films in English. The research subjects consisted of 36 students in grades XI-3 who were involved in interactive learning activities with the support of visual media and group discussions. The results of the study showed a significant improvement in several aspects of speaking skills, namely fluency in speaking, mastery of vocabulary, pronunciation, and students' confidence in conveying ideas and opinions. In addition, this method also encourages the development of critical thinking skills, creativity, and cooperation between students in a fun and participatory learning atmosphere. Storytelling activities allow students to express themselves freely and in a structured way, while movie discussions facilitate understanding of cultural context and authentic use of language. Thus, the application of storytelling and movie discussion methods has proven to be effective as an innovative learning strategy in developing students' English speaking skills at the high school level. This study recommends the integration of these methods in the English language learning curriculum to improve the overall quality of students' oral communication.

This study aims to analyze the effect of intellectual capital and profitability on firm value in manufacturing companies in the food and beverage sub-sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2020-2023 period. Intellectual capital is measured using the Value Added Intellectual Coefficient (VAIC) method, which consists of three components: Value Added Capital Employed (VACA), Value Added Human Capital (VAHU), and Structural Capital Value Added (STVA). Meanwhile, profitability is proxied by Return on Assets (ROA). This study uses a quantitative approach with purposive sampling, resulting in 59 companies as research samples. After data screening and the removal of outliers, the number of observations analyzed was 138. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS software. The results of the study show that intellectual capital does not have a significant effect on firm value. This finding indicates that the management and disclosure of intellectual assets in food and beverage companies have not been able to improve investors' perception of the company’s market value. On the other hand, profitability has a positive and significant effect on firm value. This means that the higher the profitability, the higher the firm value, as reflected in investor confidence. This study emphasizes that conventional financial indicators remain the main focus of investors, while the role of intellectual capital has not yet been fully considered as a strategic resource that can directly enhance firm value.

This article examines the legal consequences of a delayed notification of a share acquisition under Indonesian competition law, focusing on the case of PT X's takeover of PT Y. The central issue is PT X's failure to report the acquisition to the Commission for the Supervision of Business Competition (KPPU) within the mandated 30-day period, as stipulated by Law Number 5 of 1999 and its implementing regulation, Government Regulation Number 57 of 2010. The notification was submitted with a significant delay of 2,023 days, a clear violation of the statutory requirements. As a result of this non-compliance, the KPPU, through its Decision No. 31/KPPU-M/2020, imposed an administrative fine on PT X amounting to   IDR 1,050,000,000.00 (one billion fifty million rupiah). Beyond the direct financial penalty, the violation led to severe indirect repercussions, including significant    reputational damage, which threatened to erode investor confidence and disrupt existing business relationships. The KPPU's firm and consistent enforcement in this case highlights the critical function of the post-merger notification system in Indonesia as a preventative mechanism to assess transactions that could lead to excessive market concentration. The decision underscores the legal principles of     transparency, fairness, and accountability that underpin Indonesian competition law. This case serves as a powerful deterrent, signaling to all business actors that non-compliance will not be tolerated. Ultimately, such rigorous enforcement is crucial for fostering a culture of legal adherence, maintaining market integrity, and building a more transparent and competitive business ecosystem that supports sustainable economic growth in Indonesia.
