The use of documentary video learning media can have a positive impact on the learning process, especially the understanding of complex concepts and their application in everyday life. Documentary videos can provide a deeper perspective and insight into real life, so it can be a window or tool to better see and understand real life. In this study, documentary videos have been evaluated in the context of Social Studies learning at the junior high school level. The literature review method was used to analyze various aspects of the use of documentary video learning media, including its impact on concept understanding and application in daily life. The results of this literature review provide an in-depth understanding of the factors that support the effectiveness of documentary video learning media, such as good design, content relevance, and instructional support. However, it also identifies some constraints, including the limited accessibility of technology and the need for teacher support in effective implementation. Thus, the findings from this study provide a strong basis for recommending the implementation of documentary video learning media in social studies learning in junior high schools. The practical implications can provide guidance for the development of more interesting and effective learning materials, by utilizing the potential of documentary videos as innovative and relevant learning aids.

Utilization of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the formation of laws and regulations and its implications for ethics and security. This article highlights the limitations of AI in interpreting data and forming algorithms, which can lead to bias and discrimination. This article also discusses the role of legal experts in ensuring the ethical and safe use of AI within statutory regulations. The article provides examples of countries that have implemented AI in their legislation, such as Canada and the European Union. The article concludes that although AI has the potential to improve the efficiency, accuracy and quality of legislation, it should be used as a tool and not replace the role of lawmakers.

This study aims to delineate the values of local wisdom within the oral tradition of Umpasa from an ecolinguistic perspective. The ecolinguistic perspective is supported by communication ethnography studies. Data for this research were collected using observation methods, note-taking techniques (linguistics), complemented with ethnographic conversation methods and recording techniques (ethnography). Data analysis employed the extralingual correspondence method and contextual analysis techniques. The results of the analysis indicate that local wisdom within the oral tradition of Umpasa is manifested through tangible forms of local wisdom such as rocks and water, ulos motifs, and traditional houses; as well as through intangible forms of local wisdom such as proverbs, advice, and poetry. Each form of local wisdom manifests noble values that reflect the collective cultural appreciation of the society. This research examines the values of local wisdom embodied in the oral tradition of Umpasa within Batak society through an ecolinguistic approach and communication ethnography studies. The oral tradition of Umpasa is an inseparable part of the rich and diverse Batak culture, containing advice, proverbs, and songs laden with ancestral wisdom and teachings. Unlike physically tangible local wisdom, Umpasa exists as an intangible heritage transmitted orally, bringing deep understanding of the relationship between humans and nature and culture. These dimensions of local wisdom reflect the collective cultural appreciation of Batak society. The implications of this research involve understanding and promoting the preservation of local culture and enhancing appreciation for local wisdom within Batak society and beyond

This research aims to investigate how the values ​​of the motto "Satu Tungku Tiga Batu" are understood and internalized through Islamic Education learning at Fakfak State Polytechnic. In this context, Islamic Education plays a significant role in shaping individuals' character and morality. The motto, which carries the meaning of unity, cooperation, and mutual support, has not been fully interpreted in the context of Islamic learning at Fakfak State Polytechnic. A case study method is used to examine how this motto is applied in the Islamic Education curriculum. Data were collected through participatory observation, interviews with lecturers and students, and content analysis of lecture materials. The results of this research highlight the importance of the role of Islamic education in shaping understanding and acceptance of moral values ​​among students. The implications of these findings include suggestions for curriculum development and strategies to enhance the integration of Islamic values ​​in an academic context. This research contributes to understanding how Islamic education can strengthen ethical principles and reinforce communal bonds within the educational environment.

This service was carried out to remind the role of Islamic Boarding Schools as the last bastion in preventing drug trafficking in the community, where the phenomenon of drug trafficking has become a serious problem in various layers of society, so that Islamic Boarding Schools, as Islamic educational institutions that have the potential to contribute to prevention efforts. The methodology of this service was carried out by means of lectures conveying material on the understanding and dangers of drugs / drugs and how to prevent their circulation. In addition, discussions were also held by means of questions and answers and the delivery of the importance of the role of santri and satriwati to understand how Islamic Boarding Schools can implement anti-drug programs, as well as the impact on the behavior of students. The results of this research are expected to provide a deeper insight into the effectiveness of the role of Islamic boarding schools in combating drug trafficking in the community. In a broader context, this dedication has important implications in the development of drug prevention strategies in Indonesia. The results of this research can also be the basis for policy improvement and cooperation between religious educational institutions and the government in addressing the drug problem. This study delves into the intricacies of the Maritime Education and Training (MET) program at the Maritime Institute Jakarta (STIP Jakarta), focusing on Semester 3 cadets. Adopting a qualitative and descriptive research approach, the research aims to elucidate the perspectives of 240 cadets through the lens of academic self-checked intelligence, professional competences, motivations, and their interconnections. The findings reveal diverse self-checked intelligence profiles across Nautical, Technical, and Port and Shipping Management majors, necessitating a nuanced curriculum tailored to their distinct strengths. English communication emerges as a pivotal professional competence, urging a strategic enhancement of language instruction to equip cadets for effective communication in the global maritime community. Motivations driving cadet dedication encompass familial legacies, a love for the sea, and the pursuit of international exposure. Recognising and nurturing these intrinsic motivators emerges as a crucial element for sustaining cadet engagement. The positive correlation between self-checked intelligence and professional competences underscores the importance of tailored support mechanisms, prompting recommendations for mentorship programs and supplementary resources. Implications for STIP Jakarta include the need for continuous quality improvement through periodic curriculum reviews, fostering a holistic approach that combines technical proficiency with soft skills. The research contributes to the discourse on maritime education, offering a roadmap for institutions to navigate industry dynamics and diverse cadet needs. The findings, discussions, and recommendations collectively enrich the understanding of Semester 3 cadet perspectives, offering actionable insights for educators, administrators, and policymakers to refine and elevate maritime education at STIP Jakarta.

Motivations and engagement exhibit a positive trajectory, from initial challenges to sustained interest, indicating the subject's growing relevance over time. The interconnected development of English language proficiency and subject mastery emphasizes the need for targeted language support within maritime education. The positive correlation between improved language fluency and a deeper understanding of maritime cyber resilience suggests the symbiotic relationship between linguistic and technical competence. The study's implications extend beyond STIP Jakarta, offering insights for refining maritime education globally. Recommendations encompass dynamic pedagogical approaches, continual curriculum evaluation, industry collaboration, and language enhancement initiatives. This study investigates the intrinsic relationship between mathematics and classical music by analyzing harmonic patterns in compositions of renowned composers such as Bach, Mozart, and and Beethoven. The research employs an analytical quantitative approach, using statistical tools to map and identify numerical ratios within musical intervals and the relationships between chords. Data were collected from selected musical works to examine interval structures and harmonic progression patterns. Findings reveal that classical music exhibits consistent mathematical patterns, including the octave (2:1), perfect fifth (3:2), and other proportional relationships that form the basis of chord construction and harmonic coherence. These patterns demonstrate that mathematical principles are inherently embedded in musical compositions, allowing for an objective analysis of music structure without diminishing its aesthetic and emotional value. Furthermore, the study highlights the value of an interdisciplinary perspective, combining quantitative analysis with traditional music aesthetics, which provides new insights into understanding compositional techniques and creativity. The results also suggest that recognizing mathematical structures in music can contribute to a deeper understanding of music theory and education, enhancing how students and scholars approach musical analysis. Overall, this research emphasizes that integrating mathematical and artistic perspectives not only supports the scientific study of music but also encourages a holistic appreciation of the creative process, bridging the gap between art and science while offering practical implications for music pedagogy, theory, and performance studies.

The advancement of Industry 4.0 demands production systems to operate more efficiently, adaptively, and securely in facing global challenges. One promising technology that addresses these needs is the Digital Twin (DT), a digital representation of physical systems that enables integration between the real and virtual environments. Through DT, production processes can be modeled, monitored, and tested in real time, allowing for evaluation and optimization before implementation in actual systems. This study aims to explore the effectiveness of DT in modeling automated industrial systems, particularly in relation to improving production efficiency, quality control, energy savings, and operational safety. The research employed an experimental approach based on simulation within a robotic production line consisting of machines, sensors, actuators, and conveyors. The research stages included identifying system components and workflows, developing a DT model that integrates physical and virtual layers with Internet of Things–based data connectivity, and conducting simulations representing diverse operational scenarios. The findings indicate that DT implementation enhances operational efficiency, reduces production errors, and optimizes energy utilization. Furthermore, DT proves effective in strengthening safety aspects by enabling early detection of potential disruptions and providing preventive recommendations before significant impacts occur. Compared to conventional simulations, DT offers a more realistic, adaptive, and relevant approach to the needs of modern industry. The implications of this study highlight DT’s strong potential to become a new standard in the development and control of automation-based production systems, driving the creation of smarter, more efficient, and sustainable industries.

The teaching material design of Tourism Management should meet the vocational students' needs and be relevant to the workplace milieu. A few coursebooks have recently been offered to fulfill the student's needs. Some books that are usually used are about tourism management materials in general. It needs to meet the student's needs. This study aims to describe the process of developing English Materials for Tourism Management courses and how the development of English materials for Tourism Management courses can help students learn Tourism Management. The method used was Research and Development. There were four steps: Defining, Designing, developing, and disseminating. The finding showed that developing materials follows four steps: define, design, design, and disseminate. In Define showed that EFL learners and lecturers need relevant teaching-learning materials that can instantly be applied in the teaching-learning process. In Desing, steps showed that the result of the design stage is a Tourism Management handout based on problem-based learning. The result of this book design is that it contains ten chapters and 110 pages. In Develop steps is the validity test. The last step is Dissemination; the materials are shared with the EFL Learners and lecturers who taught tourism management classes as a reference. This study had two implications; first, Developing this textbook would improve the lecturer's role in the Tourism Management classroom as a facilitator, motivator, and manager. Second, implementing this textbook into the teaching-learning process in Tourism Management classes can improve students' motivation.

This article reveals the internalization of NU values ​​at Andalusia Wonosobo Vocational School, using descriptive qualitative research and interactive analysis. The results of the research show that the internalization of NU values ​​at Andalusia Wonosobo Vocational School was carried out by establishing partners with Andalusian Islamic boarding schools, using the concepts of moderation (tawasuth), balance (tawazun), tolerance (tasamuh) and perpendicularity (i'tidal), which is done through three paths: understanding (knowledge), habituation, and example. This internalization is clearly visible through four indicators: national commitment, tolerance, anti-radicalism, and accommodating local culture. Research implications: the importance of partner involvement for the successful internalization of educational values. It is hoped that this study will contribute to the development of Islamic educational institutions.   

Serious technological changes are taking place in the world and especially in the field of information and communication technology. These changes have had a significant impact on all aspects of people's lives and activities, including aspects of slogans. This article presents a detailed analysis of the spirit of innovation in Islamic education in the slogan "Tempemu Tak Sehangat Tempeku", where previous research has not been found. The research design used a quasi-experimental approach to the slogan of the mendoan amba Suci Sotang stall, in Sempor, Kebumen Regency. This study concludes that slogans have a significant influence on readers' perceptions. Islamic educational institutions must pay attention to slogans as part of educational innovation, for the sake of sustainable progress. This study does not invite readers to comment on slogans, but directs them to research findings that fill the gap in the field of Islamic education in creating slogans. Research implications, Islamic education researchers and practitioners can use this research to review the latest slogans of Islamic education institutions. This can also be useful for non-Islamic education researchers who are interested in multidisciplinary research settings. This research looks at the space of Islamic education studies in slogans by paying attention to contemporary literature and fresh perspectives.

This study aims to investigate the relationship between financial performance indicators (ROA, Financial Distress, and Debt to Equity Ratio) and firm value. Employing a purposive sampling technique, data were gathered from a diverse range of companies across industries. The study utilized thematic analysis to interpret the qualitative data. Results suggest nuanced dynamics between financial performance metrics and firm value, revealing the multifaceted nature of their interplay. While ROA reflects short-term profitability, Financial Distress highlights operational challenges, and Debt to Equity Ratio underscores financial leverage. The findings underscore the importance of considering various financial performance indicators holistically to comprehend their impact on firm value comprehensively. This research contributes to a deeper understanding of the complex relationship between financial performance dynamics and firm valuation in the business landscape.

Telecomunications plays in important role in everyday life, and signal crisis is a major challenge in many parts of Indonesia. This study aims to create a detailed map of areas effected by the signal and  internet traffic crisis using a Geographic Information System (GIS) based approach. The study includes data collection of communication signals and their determinations from various regions, providing a comprehensive picture of the network situation in Indonesia. A GIS analysis approach was used to create a map of the distribution of signal crisis areas, allowing the identification of spatial patterns that may be the root cause of this problem. The study focused on the geographical structure, signal interference and mobile internet data usage in each household as factors to consider when investigating the causal factors. The results show that there is a significant relationship between certain factors and crisis signaling. An in-depth understanding of the spatial data and causes of the signaling crisis is the basis for developing more effective improvement strategies. The practical implications of this study include recommendations for improved telecommunications infrastructure and better mitigation strategies. Therefore, this study not only presents the problem but also provides detailed insights to guide policies and measures needed to improve the quality of telecommunication services in Indonesia.

The holding of simultaneous regional elections in 2024 and the postponement of regional elections from 2022 due to the expiration of the term of office result in the threat of vacancies in positions, especially positions as regional heads in Indonesia. To fill the vacancy, an acting regional head is appointed until a definitive regional head is elected in the simultaneous regional elections in 2024. The problem is that those appointed as acting officers are apparently from active TNI elements, this is of course contrary to the spirit of reform which wants to eliminate dual functions as regulated in the TNI Law. The aim of the research is to find consistency in norms in the appointment of active TNI officers and their juridical implications. This research is normative using a statutory and conceptual approach. The research results show that consistency between these norms is needed in regulating these appointments, considering that civilian positions can only be filled by TNI soldiers who have resigned or retired from active military service, in accordance with the required competencies and through an open and competitive selection process. This step is important to ensure the maintenance of TNI neutrality and professionalism, compliance with the law, and respect for the principles of reform.

This research discusses the implications of functional conflict theory reviewing the thoughts of Lewis A. Coser in MIS Al-Azhar Jember. The functional conflict theory perspective in schools does not always have a negative impact, but also has a positive function for students socially. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with data sources obtained through in-depth interviews, documentation and literature study. The observations made by the researcher involve implications for handling strategies based on functional conflict theory. This research aims to find out the implications of functional conflict theory regarding the thoughts of Lewis A. Coser in MIS Al-Azhar Jember. The research results show that there are sources and strategies for handling conflict as well as the implications of functional theory. The results of the collaboration strategy service carried out by the school show that there is cooperation involving both parties participating in resolving the conflict.
