Poverty is a serious problem that is always faced by a country that must be overcome immediately. In addition to being a problem, poverty is also a benchmark for socioeconomic conditions in measuring the success of development carried out by the government in a region / region. On the other hand, the Human Development Index (HDI) is one of the important indicators to measure success in efforts to build the quality of human life, and has an important impact on economic growth. Economic growth is the spearhead considering the correlation between HDI and poverty. This research was conducted to determine the influence of the human development index variable and poverty as the independent variable on economic growth in East Java as the dependent variable. The analysis used is quantitative analysis with multiple regression analysis methods in data with 2021 data and cross section data from 37 districts/cities in East Java and the conclusion is that all the independent variables used in this research have a significant effect on the amount of economic growth in East Java. either simultaneously or partially.

The progress of science and technology today is an advancement of human civilization which has an impact on all aspects of life, including the development and increasing diversity of motives and forms of crime. Along with this progress, the business world is also used as a means of committing crimes by criminals, one of which is money laundering which takes advantage of technological advances and system advances in the business world, such as taking advantage of the sophistication and ease of banking transactions and other forms of business activities. . In direct proportion to this, various efforts have been made to prevent and narrow the space for money laundering perpetrators, especially by building a legal system in the business world that can eradicate this white collar crime, both nationally and internationally.

The Indonesian nation has very diverse tribes, cultures, languages ​​and religions because it has many islands. Each region certainly has its own traditions, customary laws and traditional communities and the Indonesian state recognizes the existence of customary laws within the community. The kinship system influences a rule in customary law. In Bali, the distribution of inheritance is based on a patrilineal kinship system, where in this system the son is the one who continues the family and is prominent. This research discusses the female inheritance system in Bali in Balinese customary law. We conducted research with the aim of exploring the position of female heirs in the traditional inheritance system in Bali and to find out and analyze the efforts made by female heirs to obtain inheritance rights. We use a research method, namely a qualitative approach, which means providing an explanation of the position of heirs in narrative form.

In this paper, the author discusses inter-religious harmony in Indonesia with a focus on the strategic role of religious leaders in building brotherhood. Indonesia, as a country with rich religious diversity, faces challenges in maintaining harmony amidst complex societal dynamics. Through qualitative analysis by examining literature from various sources, this paper identifies concrete strategies that have been implemented by religious figures. Religious figures have a central role as spiritual leaders, spiritual advisors, and religious teachers, significantly influencing religious and social life. Although Indonesia is known as a tolerant country, several challenges such as social conflict, religious polarization, and intolerance are still issues. The concrete strategies proposed involve interfaith dialog, joint social activities, educational initiatives, communication strategies, and strengthening nationalistic insights. These efforts are expected to strengthen interfaith brotherhood and maintain harmony in the future. The results indicate that religious leaders can serve as agents of peace and tolerance, but they are also faced with challenges such as conflict, politicization of religion, and difficulties in interfaith communication and dialogue.

Coal in Jambi is a problem that people continually complain about and causes traffic jams and damaged roads. Until the end of 2022, there are 51 coal mining companies operating in Jambi Province, spread across Sarolangun, Tebo, Batanghari and Muaro Jambi. This research uses quantitative research with a descriptive format, aimed at explaining, summarizing various conditions, various situations or various variables that arise in the community which is the object of the research based on what happens. The results of observations from questionnaires that have been distributed by students hope that this alternative will reduce the level of traffic jams and the number of accidents that occur in the community. This study aims to determine the position of the object of the fiduciary guarantee transferred by the debtor based on the agreement with PT. Pegadaian and to determine the efforts to settle the credit transferred by the debtor. This research was conducted at PT. Pegadaian Pasar Butung Makassar and used the Normative-Empirical research type method. The approach is carried out with literature in reality based on interviews and documentation. The results of the study indicate that to determine the legal position of the object of the fiduciary guarantee transferred by the debtor, registration is required. PT. Pegadaian does not register a fiduciary guarantee in its entirety with consideration of costs, so that the legal position of the object of the fiduciary guarantee has a legal weakness in the sense of lack of legal certainty for creditors, because the debtor has violated the provisions of Article 23 paragraph (2). In addition, to settle loans with fiduciary guarantees whose objects are transferred by the debtor, PT. Pegadaian takes a negotiation method with the debtor and the third party who receives the transfer of the object of the fiduciary guarantee, namely by replacing the object of the collateral transferred to the third party with the object belonging to the debtor whose value is equivalent to the object of the guarantee that has been transferred, because PT. Pegadaian has material rights over the object of collateral.

In its management, waste banks use principles similar to the banking system, but on a smaller scale and are easier to run. Residents who live around the waste bank send their waste and their balance is recorded based on the economic value of the waste. The RW 05 waste bank management environment still faces a number of obstacles in its implementation. To improve waste bank management, this service program is carried out with various activities that provide economic value to residents. Efforts to improve waste bank management are carried out by implementing smash.id, in addition to providing assistance and training on creative products that use plastic waste. The aim of this step is to increase efficiency and progress in waste bank operations in rw.05 Kreo sub-district.

White collar crime is increasingly prevalent in various corporate sectors and causes significant financial losses and damage to public trust. This type of crime includes embezzlement of funds, manipulation of financial statements, bribery, insider trading in the capital market, and theft of customer personal data. Although it occurs a lot, the prevention of white collar crime is still not optimal and the perpetrators are rarely prosecuted properly. This paper aims to analyze the various determinants that influence the occurrence of white collar crime in order to formulate policy recommendations and prevention strategies in the future. A systematic approach is used by applying the fraud triangle theory which focuses on the three main elements that cause fraud, namely pressure, opportunity and rationalization. The results of the study show that pressure to meet high performance targets and large bonuses often encourage individuals to commit fraud. Meanwhile, weak supervision and lack of transparency create opportunities for fraud. Perpetrators also often justify their actions, for example by assuming that they will not be caught or the value of the loss is small. The complexity of modern corporate operations also increases opportunities for white-collar crime. Effective prevention efforts must be comprehensive by involving various parties and strengthening a number of aspects as controls. The role of internal and external supervisors (auditors) of companies needs to be continuously improved, supported by modem fraud detection technology tools. Whistleblowing mechanisms need to be strengthened in every company and kept confidential to encourage early reporting of fraud indications.

Improving water quality is an important issue that governments and society must address. His one way to improve water quality is to monitor it regularly. Monitoring tools that are easy to use and accessible to the public can be a solution to improving water quality. The aim of this research is to assess how user satisfaction with Simonair affects their inclination towards monitoring water quality. The methodology involves conducting a survey with respondents utilizing the Simonair tool, and the gathered data is subjected to analysis through a straightforward linear regression examination.Top of Form The results show that users' satisfaction with the Simonair tool has a significant positive impact on their interest in water quality monitoring. The higher the user satisfaction, the more interested the user will be in  water quality monitoring with Simonair. School is a very important place where many aspects of life are taught. However, lately news about bullying cases in schools is often found. Bullying can be categorized as bad behavior or deviant behavior, this is because this behavior has a serious impact on the victim. Based on the various problems and solution studies that have been described, it is necessary to make efforts to prevent bullying behavior. One solution to prevent bullying behavior is a psychoeducation program that is integrated with Islamic moral values such as tolerance and courtesy as one of the reinforcements and supports the success of a guidance for behavior change. The method carried out in this activity is divided into several stages, namely (1) preparation stage, (2) implementation stage, and (3) evaluation stage. This activity produces several products, namely digital posters and guidebooks for teachers and students. The final results of Islamic moral psychoeducation show that students have an understanding of the behaviors that include bullying and understand how to prevent bullying behavior based on Islamic moral values.

Research conducted at the Medan City Regional Tax and Retribution Management Agency aims to find out and analyze the actual value of advertising tax revenue with the aim of increasing Regional Original Income (PAD). This research also seeks to understand and analyze the causes of the decline in advertising tax revenues, as well as the factors that cause low taxpayer compliance. Using a descriptive approach, this research relies on interview findings and data regarding advertising tax targets and realization from 2014 to 2018. Data analysis involves surveys at research locations to collect information and draw conclusions, comparing identified problems with relevant theories to obtain support.The lack of contribution from advertising tax revenues to the Medan City Regional Tax Revenue and Retribution Agency is hampering the increase in PAD, due to low performance in achieving predetermined targets and the ineffectiveness of existing regulations. These regulations, especially those that limit the placement of advertisements, such as prohibiting sidewalks and roads and requiring the placement of advertisements on privately owned land, create obstacles for advertising businesses in obtaining location permits. The lack of taxpayer compliance is influenced by several factors such as weak enforcement and supervision of Satpol PP, limited awareness of advertisers, tax officers' inadequate efforts to interact with taxpayers, the large number of taxpayers who do not report, and public expectations regarding the solution. advertising tax arrears.

However, this also raises concerns regarding the protection of workers' rights in certain time-based employment relationships. Efforts to clarify wage standards, benefits and social protection for workers in PKWT are the main highlight of this change. The importance of strict monitoring of the implementation of the Job Creation Law in the PKWT is crucial to ensure a balance between the interests of employers and workers' rights. Trade is an activity of exchanging goods and services based on mutual agreement without any element of coercion. Import and export activities are economic activities that cannot be separated from trade and are a unity that can encourage the improvement and growth of the economy in a country. The purpose of this research is to focus on the effect of import-export on economic growth, the evaluation of the contribution of Customs, and the role of international trade supervision. Customs or customs authorities in Indonesia, known as Customs and Excise, are the gateway to international trade. Customs manages state finances and implements state revenue through import duties and excise. The results of this study show that Indonesia's economic growth is influenced by global economic growth. In the first quarter of 2023, export activity weakened with the moderation of international commodity prices which supported the exports of North Sumatra Province. Export performance in North Sumatra grew 2.45% (yoy), lower than the previous quarter which amounted to 9.77% (yoy). Export activities in Indonesia are one of the efforts made by the government to follow the development of industrialization every year. Competition between products in foreign markets depends on price, quality, and quality of goods are important factors in competing in export activities.

This research aims to investigate the impact of Ta'lim Muta'allim book learning strategies on the character formation of Islamic students in boarding schools. Boarding schools play a significant role in character education and the promotion of Islamic values among their students. The Ta'lim Muta'allim book, as a classical text commonly used in boarding schools, is considered to have significant potential in shaping the character of students. The research employed a qualitative case study approach at Al-Ihsan Boarding School, located in Central Java, Indonesia. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The research participants included students and instructors at the boarding school. The findings of the research indicate that the utilization of learning strategies centered around the Ta'lim Muta'allim book significantly contributes to character formation among the students. Students engaged in deep and reflective learning about the contents of the Ta'lim Muta'allim book displayed a substantial improvement in their understanding of Islamic values, ethics, and morality. Furthermore, these learning strategies also played a role in fostering discipline, patience, and perseverance among the students. This research provides valuable insights into the importance of incorporating the Ta'lim Muta'allim book into the boarding school curriculum and employing appropriate learning strategies to achieve character development objectives. These findings can serve as a guide for other boarding schools in their efforts to enhance character education effectiveness in the face of evolving contemporary challenges.
