This research evaluates the effectiveness of the YouTube platform as a video sharing medium for learning video editing practices at Sekolah Tinggi Multi Media Yogyakarta (STMM). Video sharing platforms such as YouTube have a significant role in supporting independent learning, enabling flexible access to material, and giving students opportunities to develop editing skills. This research data was obtained from questionnaires and in-depth interviews with students enrolled in the Video Editing course at STMM Yogyakarta. The research results show that YouTube plays an effective role as a supporter of independent learning and a complement to face-to-face learning, but does not completely replace direct interaction with lecturers. Using YouTube also faces several obstacles, such as limited internet connection, limited appropriate content, and dependence on visualization without in-depth theoretical understanding. This research recommends optimizing video curation, integrating discussion platforms, and regular monitoring and evaluation.

This article discusses a theoretical study of impoverishment punishment for corrupt perpetrators. Corruption is considered a planned crime that has a negative impact on the state and society and requires decisive action to eradicate it. This survey revealed that the majority of students think that impoverishment punishment, which is expected to have a deterrent effect compared to prison sentences, can be an effective preventive effort in eradicating corruption. The students also emphasized the importance of returning assets to the state to compensate for losses due to corruption. The view of the death penalty for corruption perpetrators is now considered irrelevant, because the focus is on recovery economy and justice. This study shows that a stricter and more systematic approach is needed in eradicating corruption, including stricter regulations, proper asset management, and educating the public about the negative impacts of corruption. Thus, this article presents an understanding of sharing perspectives. The younger generation can help create more effective anti-corruption policies in Indonesia.

This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data was collected through in-depth interviews and focus group discussions. Identification of research informants was done by snowball sampling through key informants of group leaders and former group mentors. Triangulation of sources and methods was used to ensure the validity of the data. Field data will be collected, classified, reduced, and then interpreted according to the Miles and Huberman method. The group will be able to work and evolve if there is a reciprocal process of interests among its members, such as sharing knowledge. Between competitive motives and the process of sharing knowledge will potentially negate each other in group dynamics. Therefore, this dynamic requires factors that can ensure a balance between the two. How to keep competitive motives at a healthy competitive level and, on the other hand, not interfere with the process of sharing knowledge, which is one of the indicators that the group is working and developing.

This study aims to analyze the role of Baitul Maal wa Tamwil (BMT) as an Islamic microfinance institution in eliminating loan shark practices in communities, particularly in Java and Sumatra. Loan shark practices persist due to the ease and speed of loan disbursement, despite the high interest rates that entrap small communities in difficult-to-escape debt cycles. BMT offers a fair and interest-free Islamic financing solution based on profit-sharing principles and a more inclusive approach. This study discusses BMT’s financing strategies, such as lenient requirements, fast processing, and financial education programs designed to compete with loan sharks. The main findings indicate that BMT plays a significant role in providing fairer financing access to small communities and helping reduce their dependence on loan sharks. However, this study also reveals several challenges BMT faces, such as limited capital, strict regulations, and low financial literacy among the public. These challenges hinder BMT's ability to effectively compete with loan sharks in terms of speed and accessibility. The results of this study emphasize the importance of strengthening BMT’s capital, developing human resources, and innovating Islamic financing products so that BMT can play a more prominent role in eradicating loan shark practices in the community. With the right strategy and support from various stakeholders, BMT has great potential to continue growing as a more equitable and empowering financing solution.
