Carbon emission disclosure is increasingly important for companies in establishing legitimacy, enhancing stakeholder trust, and drawing public attention to sustainability issues. This study aims to examine how profitability, leverage, and company size affect carbon emission disclosure. The research is grounded in legitimacy theory and stakeholder theory, which provide the theoretical foundation for understanding corporate carbon disclosure behavior. The population of this study comprises energy companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2020–2023 period. The sample was selected using non-probability purposive sampling, resulting in 113 observations. Data were analyzed using SPSS with multiple linear regression techniques. The results indicate that profitability and company size have a positive influence on carbon emission disclosure, while leverage does not have a significant effect. Theoretically, the findings support the notion that profitability and company size drive carbon disclosure, in line with legitimacy and stakeholder theories.

Dental and oral health issues in Indonesia remain a critical concern, with a high prevalence, particularly in dental caries and periodontal diseases. Based on data from Riskesdas 2018 and the 2023 Indonesian Health Survey, more than 50% of the population suffer from caries, with the highest rates found among children and the elderly. This literature review aims to identify the characteristics of oral health problems, risk factors, health and socioeconomic impacts, and the intervention strategies implemented in Indonesia. The study employs a narrative review method by analyzing national publications from 2015 to 2025 that meet inclusion criteria. The findings reveal that the main determinants include low oral health literacy, high sugar consumption patterns, limited access to dental services, and socioeconomic factors such as education and income. The impacts include decreased quality of life, reduced work productivity, and increased burden on the healthcare system. Effective prevention and control strategies involve school- and community-based health promotion, the use of technology such as teledentistry and mobile applications, improvement in basic service access, as well as regulatory policies on sugar consumption and incentives for healthcare personnel in remote areas. Multisector collaboration and continuous research are essential to significantly reduce the burden of oral diseases in Indonesia.

This study aims to critically analyze the impact of the SIM card data leak by an anonymous actor named Bjorka on the level of public trust in digital security in Indonesia which first appeared in mid-2022, precisely in August 2022. In addition, it evaluates the extent to which the national legal system is able to provide protection for digital service users and examines the social, moral, and ethical responses of society in addressing the incident. This case demonstrates that data breaches are not merely technical issues but also shake the legitimacy of the state in safeguarding citizens’ privacy rights, while revealing gaps in regulatory systems and data governance. This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through literature reviews of scholarly articles, academic journals, policy reports, and relevant opinion pieces. The findings indicate that Bjorka’s data breach incident triggered a crisis of public trust in government institutions and digital service providers. The public responded with fear, anger, and disappointment, mainly due to the lack of transparency and accountability from the responsible parties. Moreover, the implementation of Law No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection is considered ineffective, both in terms of law enforcement and the readiness of technical and institutional infrastructure.

The adoption of Hospital Information Systems (HIS) is a crucial step toward improving healthcare service delivery, especially in public hospitals in developing countries. RSUD Prof. Dr. H. Aloei Saboe, a referral hospital in Gorontalo, Indonesia, has implemented the SIMRS Khanza system to digitize inpatient registration and medical documentation. However, limited evaluation has been conducted to assess its effectiveness beyond technical performance. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of SIMRS Khanza using the Human-Organization-Technology Fit (HOT-Fit) framework, which examines the alignment between users, institutional support, and system quality. A qualitative descriptive method was employed, involving in-depth interviews, non-participatory observations, and document reviews with eight informants, including medical record officers, system coordinators, and hospital management. The findings reveal that although most users reported improved efficiency and satisfaction, several issues persist: incomplete training, limited adherence to SOPs, and system performance lags during peak hours. Organizational support was present but inconsistent, and documentation policies lacked specificity for digital contexts. Technologically, the system demonstrated stable output, but responsiveness and integration require enhancement. The synthesis of findings suggests that success in HIS implementation is contingent upon not only system reliability but also continuous user engagement, structured training, and dynamic policy support. Therefore, a holistic strategy integrating human, organizational, and technological components is essential to optimize SIMRS performance and sustainability.

Drug abuse and trafficking are transnational issues that require serious attention from various countries. Indonesia and the Philippines, two countries in Southeast Asia, have developed different institutional approaches in combating drugs through the Badan Narkotika Naional (BNN) and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA). This study aims to compare both institutions from the cultural-cognitive pillar based on William Richard Scott’s institutional theory. The method used is descriptive qualitative research with a literature study approach. The results show that BNN prioritizes rehabilitative and educational approaches that are increasingly accepted as a reasonable treatment pattern in Indonesia. Meanwhile, PDEA implements a repressive approach that is supported by most of the Filipino society, despite being accompanied by human rights violations. These findings indicate that collective thinking frameworks and public legitimacy play a crucial role in shaping institutional strategies and impacts in each country. This study provides significant implications regarding how societal mindsets influence the effectiveness of drug eradication efforts.

This study investigates the impact of cashless payment technologies, specifically e-toll and Garda Total Objek (GTO), on customer satisfaction and travel efficiency on the Tangerang-Merak Toll Road. The research demonstrates that the implementation of these technologies significantly enhances travel time efficiency and overall user satisfaction, providing a more seamless and convenient toll payment experience. Despite these positive outcomes, the study identifies several technical challenges that hinder optimal performance. Notably, there is an 18% transaction failure rate, primarily caused by malfunctions in card reader devices and server disruptions, which negatively affect the customer experience. In addition to technological reliability, the quality of service delivered by field staff and the degree of customer loyalty emerge as critical factors influencing sustained use of the digital payment system and overall satisfaction levels. The study underscores the importance of time efficiency and customer loyalty as key drivers for improving service quality and encouraging the widespread adoption of cashless systems. To address these challenges, the study recommends enhancing the reliability of payment devices and network infrastructure through regular maintenance and upgrades. Furthermore, the adoption of Multi-Lane Free Flow (MLFF) technology is suggested to allow toll transactions without stopping, thereby reducing traffic congestion and waiting times at toll plazas. Continuous staff training is essential to improve service response and technical troubleshooting. Additionally, customer loyalty programs offering incentives like discounts and rewards could increase user engagement. The study also emphasizes the need for increased public education on cashless payment systems and their features to minimize resistance and misunderstandings. Finally, ongoing monitoring and evaluation based on user feedback are critical for promptly addressing issues and sustainably improving customer satisfaction.

The European Green Deal is the European Union's strategy to reduce the impact of climate change and carry out major reforms in the agricultural sector. However, small and medium-sized farmers are suffering losses due to shift to more environmentally friendly agricultural system, stricter regulations, reduced subsidies, and restrictions on chemical fertilizers. In this journal, it can be seen how EGD policies create economic and social vulnerabilities that could threaten food security and the internal stability of the European Union. The methods used are a qualitative approach and descriptive analysis of the impact of green deal policies, which affect farmers and the general public. Data collection was conducted through a literature review of previous studies related to the impacts of the Green Deal. This journal discusses four key areas, the transformation of Green Deal policies, economic vulnerabilities faced by farmers, emerging social-political resistance, and implications for non-traditional security. The research indicates that while EGD policies aim to address climate threats, their implementation has led to non-security issues. A balance between climate and long-term food security is needed. To address social and economic changes at the domestic and regional levels, this study emphasizes the importance of inclusive and adaptive green transition policies.

Adequate skin hydration is essential for maintaining skin elasticity, softness, and overall barrier function. Insufficient hydration can lead to various skin health issues, one of the most common being dry skin. This condition is more prone to irritation, itching, and cracking, which can increase the risk of infection. The Community Service Program (PKM) conducted in Tanjung Duren Selatan aimed to raise public awareness about the importance of maintaining skin moisture through educational activities and hydration level screening using a skin analyzer. This program was carried out using the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) approach, including skin hydration assessments and education on risk factors, the impact of skin dehydration, and appropriate skincare strategies. Of the 104 participants, 68 individuals (65.38%) were found to have low skin oil levels, and 82 individuals (78.85%) had low skin water content, indicating dry skin conditions. These results highlight the importance of skin hydration screening as an early detection tool for skin health risks and as a foundational step to promote preventive skincare awareness in support of overall health and quality of life.

The Indonesian criminal justice system upholds the principle of legal certainty to ensure the protection of the rights of all parties involved in legal proceedings. One of the recurring issues is the ambiguity regarding the timeframe for Investigators to submit case files to Public Prosecutors, particularly in minor offense cases. Article 110 of the Indonesian Criminal Procedure Code (KUHAP) merely states the word "immediately" without specifying a definite time limit, creating opportunities for delays without firm legal consequences. This research employs a normative juridical method with a conceptual and evaluative approach to analyze statutory provisions and their practical application in Indonesia. The findings reveal that although ethical and disciplinary sanctions are regulated within internal police regulations, there is no explicit legal norm governing sanctions for Investigators who fail to promptly submit case files. Consequently, it is necessary to revise Article 110 of KUHAP by establishing a clear and binding timeframe, while strengthening both internal and external supervisory mechanisms to uphold legal certainty and enhance the effectiveness of the criminal justice system. Furthermore, public participation through digital media can serve as a form of social control over the negligence of law enforcement officers in Indonesia.

This study explores the complexities of managing Digital Economic Corridors (DECs) within the framework of international cooperation and regional integration. It highlights the necessity of multi-level governance structures that coordinate national, regional, and international stakeholders to ensure effective corridor management. The research identifies critical challenges including policy misalignment, regulatory fragmentation, digital sovereignty conflicts, and significant capacity gaps in developing countries. Public–Private Partnerships (PPPs) are underscored as key drivers of infrastructure development, but require robust oversight to ensure inclusivity and accountability. The study emphasizes that digital sovereignty issues complicate multilateral cooperation by creating competing regulatory regimes and geopolitical tensions. Moreover, capacity limitations in developing nations impede equitable participation in DECs, necessitating sustained international support in digital literacy, policy development, and institutional strengthening. Ultimately, the findings suggest that balanced governance, harmonized regulations, and inclusive capacity-building are essential to unlocking the full potential of DECs as instruments for regional economic growth and digital integration.
