This study examines the transformation of Habiburrahman El Shirazy's novel "Ayat-Ayat Cinta" into a film of the same name through an intertextuality approach. The main objective of this study is to analyze how narrative and visual elements in novels are translated into the medium of film, as well as identify and evaluate the changes that occur during the adaptation process. The methods used in this study include text and film analysis, storyline comparison, character development, and the use of symbolism. The results showed that although the film "Ayat-Ayat Cinta" is quite faithful to the theme and main character of the novel, there are some significant simplifications and modifications to the subplot and supporting characters. The visualization adaptation of the narrative description in the novel requires adjustments to meet the cinematic needs and duration of the film. The use of intertextual elements in the film includes direct references to dialogue and key scenes from the novel, as well as visual interpretations of symbols and metaphors present in the text. The changes made in the film were mainly driven by the need to appeal to a wider audience and keep the storyline dense and interesting. This research provides in-depth insight into the dynamics between literary works and film, demonstrating the importance of understanding the essence of the original story in the adaptation process, as well as the implications of the changes made to audience perceptions. This research is expected to make a significant contribution to literary and film studies, as well as serve as a guide for filmmakers in adapting literary works to the big screen.

Discussing calligraphy as an Islamic artwork is very interesting because it displays the beauty and meaning of each stroke of the letters, especially in the Qur'an. Calligraphy is a visual and correspondence skill. It also helps to learn and understand the Arabic language. Arabic is essential to the teaching of Islam as it serves as a way to convey strictly and paves the way for Islamic history and scholarly works. The subjective differentiation strategy was used in this study to examine the relationship between the excellence of students in Arabic language education at Imam Bonjol State Islamic University Padang West Sumatra and their ability to compose Arabic and calligraphy as an improvement in learning, which allows them to concentrate on culture and expression related to Arabic. The consequences of this study indicate that interest in calligraphy as a whole has an impact on students' Arabic composing ability and aptitude. Students who have both interests and abilities will generally get greater help from others, but students who are basically interested need greater help. This study shows how important calligraphy is to further develop Arabic composing ability and demonstrates the work of the contrasting supporting elements of interest and ability.

Mosques are one of the important elements in the structure of Islamic society. For Muslims, mosques have great significance in life, both physically and spiritually. The word Masjid itself comes from the word sajada yasjudu-masjidan which means place of prostration. This study aims to analyze the application of sustainable principles in modern residential interior design and focuses on aesthetic aspects. With increasing attention to environmental sustainability issues, interior design plays an important role in reducing environmental impacts through the selection of environmentally friendly materials, efficient energy use, and space optimization. However, the aesthetic aspect cannot be separated from design, because it plays a role in creating visual comfort and occupant well-being. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with an interdisciplinary approach, which includes literature reviews, design analysis, and case studies on several interior projects that have successfully combined sustainable and aesthetic principles. The results of the study show that interior design that considers sustainability not only focuses on energy efficiency and the selection of environmentally friendly materials, but also integrates aesthetic elements that enhance the comfort of the space. These findings emphasize the importance of public and designer awareness in creating functional, environmentally friendly, and aesthetic spaces. This study is expected to provide theoretical and practical contributions to the development of interior design that supports sustainability without sacrificing the aesthetic quality and comfort of the space.

Red onion skin is one of the wastes that can be used as a natural dye because it contains anthocyanins which are one of the natural color pigments. The availability of red onion skin waste is very abundant, especially from household waste and industrial waste which has not been optimally utilized. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of fixation type with different dyeing times on the color quality of batik fabric. This research method is an experiment by varying the fabric treatment in the pre-mordanting process, time variations of 30 and 60 minutes, and fixation variations, namely alum, arbor, and quicklime. The results of the study obtained that red onion skin extract is very good as a natural dye for dyeing batik fabric, the value of the color fastness test at 40 ℃ soap washing and cloth rubbing (wet) shows good quality with an average value of 4 and 4 - 5. The value of the L *, a *, b * color difference test and the results of visual observations on the pantone color produce an orange-red color that contains dominant color elements towards reddish and yellowish.
