Suspicious urban sound recognition is a critical component of intelligent public safety and urban monitoring systems, enabling the automated identification of anomalous acoustic events such as gunshots, sirens, and other security-sensitive sounds. However, existing deep learning approaches often struggle to simultaneously capture long-range temporal dependencies and global contextual relationships, particularly under noisy and acoustically complex urban conditions. This limitation can reduce reliability in safety-critical scenarios where missed detections carry significant risk. To address these challenges, this study proposes a Multi-Branch Bidirectional Long Short-Term Memory (BiLSTM) framework with Multi-Head Self-Attention (MHSA) for enhanced sequential and contextual feature modeling. Mel-frequency cepstral coefficients (MFCCs) are extracted from a curated subset of the UrbanSound8K dataset, comprising five suspicious sound classes, and used as input to the proposed architecture. The multi-branch design enables complementary temporal representations, while the self-attention mechanism provides lightweight contextual weighting of BiLSTM outputs. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed model achieves a test accuracy of 95.59%, outperforming conventional Dense and LSTM-based baseline models under identical experimental settings. An ablation study further confirms the contribution of multi-branch integration and attention-based enhancement to overall performance. Class-wise evaluation reveals consistently high recall across all sound categories, particularly for safety-critical classes such as gunshots and sirens. These findings indicate that the proposed framework provides robust and reliable performance, making it suitable for real-time smart city surveillance and public safety applications.

This study aims to analyze the understanding of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Harjosari II Village regarding Islamic financial inclusion and its contribution to expanding access to business capital financing. Although the national financial inclusion index continues to increase, the implementation of Islamic financial inclusion still faces challenges at the grassroots level. This research used a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques consisting of observation, documentation, and in-depth interviews with MSME owners in Harjosari II Village and staff from KSPPS & BMT Syariah Sejahtera (SS) Medan. The findings show that MSME owners’ understanding of Islamic financial inclusion is influenced by religiosity and the perception of justice through the profit-sharing system. Islamic financial inclusion is implemented through a kinship approach and simplified administrative procedures for the informal sector. However, the main obstacles to expanding financing access include limited Islamic financial literacy, restricted financing ceilings, and entrepreneurs’ lack of confidence in formal banking procedures. Islamic financing contributes to increasing production capacity and providing spiritual peace of mind by offering capital alternatives free from usury (riba). This study recommends strengthening direct technical socialization and implementing more flexible financing ceiling policies to support MSME growth in suburban areas.

Blasting is a critical method for overburden removal in open-pit coal mines, where fragmentation quality directly impacts loading efficiency and operational costs. This study aims to analyze the actual fragmentation resulting from overburden blasting at Pit 4 Middle of PT. Victor Dua Tiga Mega, Central Kalimantan, to predict fragmentation using the Kuz-Ram model, and to evaluate the conformity of both results against the company standard (boulder size ≤144.6 cm or ≥50 cm for analysis). The research employed a quantitative comparative method. Primary data included blasting geometry and photographs of muck piles from 10 blasting events, which were analyzed using WipFrag software to obtain actual fragmentation distribution. Secondary data comprised rock characteristics and explosive properties for Kuz-Ram prediction input. The results showed significant variation in actual boulder percentage (≥50 cm), ranging from 6.19% to 32.91% with an average of 16.05% (medium category). Statistical analysis revealed a very weak negative correlation (r = -0.21) between powder factor (PF) and boulder percentage, indicating that PF is not the dominant factor within the consistent application range (0.21-0.23 kg/bcm). Comparison with Kuz-Ram predictions showed that the model consistently over-predicted coarse material, with an average difference of +25.21%, suggesting the need for rock factor (A) recalibration. It is concluded that the blasting results are inconsistent, strongly influenced by uncontrollable factors such as geological conditions. Recommendations include geometri evaluation, particularly burden and spacing, and calibration of the Kuz-Ram model for more accurate future predictions.

This study examines the impact of carbon emission disclosure, eco-efficiency, and green innovation on firm value among energy sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2022-2024. Using purposive sampling, 26 companies were selected based on specific criteria, resulting in 78 observations over the three-year period. The research employs panel data regression analysis with fixed effect model, using Tobin's Q as the proxy for firm value. Carbon emission disclosure is measured using the CDP framework with 18 disclosure items, eco-efficiency is assessed through ISO 14001 certification ownership, and green innovation is evaluated using four indicators based on the OECD framework. The results reveal that green innovation has a significant positive effect on firm value, indicating that Indonesian capital market investors place premium valuations on companies investing in environmental innovation. However, carbon emission and eco-efficiency show no significant impact on firm value. These findings suggest that while sustainability disclosure remains voluntary in Indonesia and lacks standardized frameworks, market participants are more responsive to tangible innovations that demonstrate competitive advantages and regulatory risk mitigation. Simultaneously, all three variables significantly influence firm value, confirming the relevance of comprehensive sustainability practices in value creation.

Studi Administrasi Publik dan ilmu Komunikasi 2026 Asosiasi Peneliti Dan Pengajar Ilmu Sosial Indonesia

Digital transformation in public administration has become one of the strategic agendas in modern bureaucratic reform to improve the effectiveness, efficiency, transparency, and quality of public services. This study aims to analyze the digital transformation of public administration through a comparative study between Indonesia and South Korea, particularly in the implementation of digital government. This study uses a qualitative method with a comparative study approach and is supported by library research through secondary data collection from scientific journals, international agency reports, government policy documents, and relevant previous research. The data analysis technique uses descriptive-comparative analysis with the theoretical approaches of Digital Era Governance (DEG), Institutional Theory, New Public Management (NPM), and Socio-Technical Systems Theory. The results of the study show that South Korea has succeeded in developing an integrated digital government because it is supported by consistent national policies, strong data interoperability, high bureaucratic capacity, adaptive organizational culture, and equitable distribution of digital infrastructure. In contrast, Indonesia is still in the transition stage from e-government to digital government and faces various obstacles such as fragmentation of inter-agency systems, low data interoperability, inequality in digital infrastructure, limited ASN competency, and bureaucratic resistance to change. Based on the Digital Era Governance theory, South Korea has successfully implemented the principles of reintegration, needs-based holism, and digitization of changes, while Indonesia remains suboptimal in terms of bureaucratic integration and services based on public needs. This study concludes that the success of digital transformation in public administration is determined more by institutional strength and bureaucratic reform than simply by technology adoption. Therefore, Indonesia needs to prioritize digital transformation as a comprehensive national reform agenda to create a modern, responsive, and service-oriented government.

Public facility cleanliness is a reflection of cultural values and collective social responsibility. Bus stops, as daily transit points for thousands of commuters, often face declining cleanliness due to limited user participation and management. This community service program was conducted on April 22, 2026, at RSAL Bus Stop, Surabaya, Indonesia, with one researcher as the sole implementer. The objectives were to improve physical cleanliness, provide environmental education, and enhance aesthetics through greening. The method consisted of three activities: installing cleanliness reminder posters, cleaning the bus stop area, and adding ornamental plants in flower pots. Evaluation employed qualitative descriptive techniques, including observation, photographic documentation, and informal interviews. Findings revealed that the bus stop floor, initially littered with plastic waste, cigarette butts, and dry leaves, became clean after sweeping. Posters were successfully placed in visible positions, and three flower pots containing Sansevieria trifasciata and Epipremnum aureum created a fresher atmosphere. Users responded positively, noting improved comfort and cleanliness. The synthesis indicates that simple interventions by a single individual can generate meaningful improvements when combining physical cleaning, visual education, and greening. This initiative demonstrates that small-scale university-led social responsibility programs can serve as replicable models for sustainable public facility management.

The development of digital technology has positioned video games beyond mere entertainment to become a cultural medium with the potential to influence players' social and political perspectives. In this context, video games are seen as relevant as a medium for political socialization because they present interactive narratives, moral choices, and social simulations that allow players to directly experience dilemmas of power, justice, responsibility, and state-citizen relations. This article aims to analyze the potential of video games as a medium for political socialization, examine narrative elements that influence the formation of political awareness, and examine the possibility of integrating the Indonesian socio-cultural context into game narratives. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature review design through a search of various literature sources. The results indicate that video games can serve as a medium for informal political socialization through participatory experiences, moral reflection, and the immersive internalization of political values. This potential will be further enhanced by incorporating local Indonesian contexts, such as mutual cooperation (gotong royong), diversity, and social justice. This study confirms that video games are worthy of being positioned as an educational-cultural medium that can expand political education models in the digital era.
