This research aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the various forms of parental involvement in supporting early childhood education, while identifying the facilitating and hindering factors for the success of parental involvement programs. Findings from this study illustrate the prevailing perception among parents that still places teachers as the primary determinants of a child's success, despite the significant role parents play as the primary educators for young children. Awareness of this challenge prompted the researcher to delve into more detailed and in-depth investigations. The research results delineate diverse forms of parental involvement, encompassing the supervision of children's study time, financial contributions through donations of toys and books, participation in school meetings, involvement in social service activities, and the repair of play equipment at school. Despite the existence of organized excursions, not all schools can conduct them due to significant cost constraints.Supporting and inhibiting factors in parental involvement encompass economic aspects, time constraints, the level of parental trust in teachers, and the lack of parental involvement programs initiated by schools. These findings offer valuable insights for enhancing parental participation in early childhood education by addressing and optimizing these factors, ultimately creating a more inclusive and empowered educational environment. Keywords: forms of parental involvement; early childhood education.

This research examines the application of the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) methods in determining the best graduate students in the Ners Professional Study Program at Muhammadiyah University of East Kalimantan. The third step of the AHP method involves converting the values in the pairwise comparison matrix to decimal form, which is then normalized to calculate the priority weight of each criterion and sub-criteria. Next, checking the logic of the criteria and designing AHP-TOPSIS for ranking were carried out. The analysis showed that AHP resulted in 5 ranking changes with a percentage change of 4.4%, while TOPSIS resulted in 3 ranking changes with a percentage change of 3.9%. From these results, the AHP-TOPSIS method proved to have an accuracy of 83.00%. This article also presents a comparison between AHP, TOPSIS, and AHP-TOPSIS methods, where the best student selected is Dinda Ayu Framaisella. This research provides practical guidance for decision makers in solving multi-criteria problems and contributes to the selection of the best graduate students with a comprehensive and accurate approach.

The recognition of emotional intelligence as a critical factor in academic success suggests the need for tailored interventions within the maritime education curriculum. Integrating modules focused on emotional intelligence development can equip cadets with essential skills for academic resilience and effective professional navigation. Furthermore, the study recommends mentorship programs, intrinsic motivation enhancement strategies, and collaborative initiatives between educational institutions and industry stakeholders to foster a workforce adept at emotional intelligence and ready for the challenges of maritime management. While the research contributes valuable insights to the discourse on emotional intelligence in maritime education, it also highlights the need for continued exploration. Future research could broaden the scope to include diverse cadet populations and employ additional research methods to validate and extend the current findings. This study stands as a foundational step towards understanding and enhancing emotional intelligence among maritime professionals, positioning them as not only technically proficient but also resilient and adaptive leaders in the global maritime arena.

Programs for hiring, selection, training, and employee development turned out to be very effective, even though there is still room for improvement. Penilaian kinerja karyawan dianggap baik, notwithstanding the possibility of bias arising from a closed session. The compensation program and the JASA balas seem to be working well, but improvements are needed to raise the level of transparency and keadilan. Programs for health and safety at work are doing well, but home improvement needs to be improved. Although the work-related stress reduction program appears to be effective, it is recommended to increase employee turnover in PHK.
