A mixed-use building refers to a combination of several different functions within a single structure, such as residential, office, shopping, and recreational functions built on one site. Designing a mixed-use building requires careful planning and consideration of various factors such as functional needs, aesthetics, and energy conservation. Additionally, the design of mixed-use buildings incorporates various functions within a single area. Floor slabs and beams use plain reinforcing steel with a quality of Fy = 240 MPa (Ø8mm). The concrete cover is taken as 20 mm. From the design results, several thickness types of slabs were obtained according to the load requirements that must be accommodated above them. The following are the moments acting on the floor slabs and beams. The reinforcement calculations are performed using the capacity strength design method according to SNI 2847-2019. The capacity design concept involves controlling the formation of plastic hinges at predetermined locations. The SAP2000 program can directly calculate the feasibility of the structural dimensions and the amount of reinforcement needed from the input program results. In the SAP2000 program, the concrete code used is the American concrete code ACI-318-05/IBC 2003, which differs in some respects from the concrete code in Indonesia SNI 2847-2019. Adjustments need to be made to comply with the regulations in Indonesia. Internal forces from the SAP2000 program are selected from load combinations that generate the maximum moments at the column face. The flexural and shear reinforcement for beams can be directly read from the SAP2000 output in the form of information on the required area of reinforcement.

One of the crucial components in human resource management is a fair and appropriate compensation system. This research analyzes the compensation system at UKM XYZ in Bogor Regency using the Overlapping method. Analysis methods include descriptive analysis, job analysis, given system method analysis, and salary mapping analysis with the Overlapping method. The results showed that the initial salary of UKM XYZ was not ideal because the mid-to-mid value comparison was still greater than the spread value. After revamping with the Overlapping method, a new compensation structure was obtained with an increase in operating costs of 6.75%. A competitive and fair compensation system is expected to improve employee motivation, productivity, and performance as well as the competitiveness of UKM XYZ in the industry. This research provides recommendations for UKM XYZ to implement a new compensation system based on the Overlapping method to meet the needs of the company and employees.

The Institute of Fine Arts and Design is an art school that accommodates high levels of art study program enthusiasts in developing skills in the arts, producing creative and appreciative graduates. This study explores design aspects, such as function, site planning, design, and structure related to the art institute as a basis for design development analysis. The method used is a qualitative method through literature studies and field observations. Literature studies are used to analyze data related to the function of similar buildings and similar themes, namely metaphorical architecture. Field observations are conducted to observe and collect data related to the activities of the Fine Arts and Design Institute. The study concludes that in the design of fine arts and design institutes, creative design is needed through a metaphorical architecture approach. Metaphor architecture was raised as a theme because of the application of the principle of transferring information from one subject to another. The application of this concept is demonstrated by the form of the building mass series and the building facade with the play of secondary skin shapes.

Three novel Schiff base (A-C) was reported in this study by reaction of o-tolidine with three different aldehydes 2-bromobenzaldehyde, 3-hydroxybenzaldehyde, and 2,4-dihydroxybenzaldehyde to attain three novel Bis-Schiff Bases ligands in high yield (86-97%). Thin-layer chromatography (TLC) technique is used to monitor the reaction. These agents were characterized by 13C, 1H NMR, HRMS, FTIR, and melting point. The synthesized tcompounds (A-C) are expected to have considerable biological activity owing to their molecular structure, which incorporates essential imine functional groups.

This research examines the manifestation of humanistic values in six selected short stories from Kompas in 2021-2022 as an alternative literary teaching material. The phenomenon of declining understanding of humanitarian values among students and the importance of instilling these values through literary works serve as the background for this study. The goal is to identify and analyze the representation of humanism in contemporary Indonesian literature. The research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach with content analysis techniques. The analysis results show that the six short stories studied are rich in humanistic values such as openness, responsibility, solidarity, justice, self-sacrifice, care, and mutual assistance. The structure of a short story, including characters and setting, plays an important role in conveying those values. "The Holy Family" depicts openness, "The Three-Colored Bahar Roots" emphasizes sacrifice, "This City is a Well" explores solidarity, "About the Name of Majid Pucuk" showcases the struggle for justice, "The House that Always Smells Bad" illustrates mutual aid, and "The Fading Spark in His Eyes" highlights family care. This finding has implications for the development of more contextual literature teaching materials, encouraging a deeper understanding of humanism among students.

Using a mixed-method approach, This study examines emotional support for Quranic memorization students (santri tahfidz) in Islamic boarding schools (pesantren). Quantitative analysis of 515 santri tahfidz revealed high levels of emotional support (M = 3.74, SD = 0.68) with two primary dimensions: reliable relationships (74.96%) and trusted guidance (75.17%). Multiple regression analysis uncovered a significant relationship between emotional support and Quranic memorization achievement (β = 0.42, p < .001, R² = 0.18). A meta-analysis of 28 studies (N = 3,627) confirmed a positive correlation between emotional support and students' psychological well-being (r = 0.39, 95% CI [0.34, 0.44]). MANOVA results indicated significant differences in santri tahfidz's perceptions of emotional support based on gender (Wilks' λ = .97, F(2, 512) = 7.85, p < .001, partial η² = .03) and age (Wilks' λ = .95, F(4, 1022) = 6.73, p < .001, partial η² = .03). These findings extend previous research by Hasfi (2018) and Vista (2018) by identifying the specific roles of teacher support (β = 0.31, p < .01) and peer support (β = 0.28, p < .01) in enhancing student resilience. Furthermore, this study contributes to a more comprehensive understanding of emotional support dynamics in pesantren tahfidz education, integrating Bronfenbrenner's (1979) ecological perspective and Deci and Ryan's (2000) self-determination theory. Finally in a practical context, the researcher evaluates this study has implications for the development of more structured and efficient emotional support intervention programs in tahfidz pesantren.

This research investigates students’ perceptions of Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a tool for learning English at MTsN 4 North Aceh. Quantitative descriptive method was employed in this study that involving 40 students as participants. Data were collected through Likert-scale questionnaires and semi-structured interviews to assess students’ attitudes towards AI in relation to motivation, and skill development (listening, speaking, reading, and writing). The results indicate that most students perceive AI positively, appreciating its ability to enhance their understanding of English materials, increase motivation, and provide real-time feedback. Many students highlighted that AI tools offered interactive and flexible learning opportunities. Overall, artificial intelligence (AI) is not seen as a replacement for conventional teaching, even though it is a useful tool for learning English. The best strategy could be to combine AI with human instruction, maintaining a balance between the flexibility and immediate feedback that AI offers and the individualized help that teachers can provide.
