This study offers an in-depth comparative assessment of land registration systems in Indonesia, Malaysia, the Netherlands, and Australia, acknowledging that variations in historical evolution, legal infrastructures, and administrative mechanisms have shaped each country’s approach to land governance. These foundational distinctions play a crucial role in determining how effectively each nation provides legal certainty, secures land ownership rights, and administers land records with accuracy and efficiency. The analysis explores how differing registration models—ranging from deeds-based to title-based systems—impact levels of transparency, reliability, and public trust in land management institutions. Furthermore, the study identifies the strengths, limitations, and operational challenges within each framework, demonstrating that no single system is universally superior. Instead, the effectiveness of land registration practices depends on how well they align with the socio-legal context, institutional capacity, and administrative heritage of each region. The findings emphasize the importance of context-specific policy formulation, suggesting that land administration reforms should not merely replicate foreign models but must be adapted to local legal traditions and governance needs. Overall, this research underscores the necessity of designing land registration systems that enhance legal protection, promote efficient land administration, and strengthen the long-term security of landowners’ rights across diverse jurisdictions.

This study aims to develop a social media-based learning platform, specifically an Instagram account (@AIK_Muh5), for Islamic Religious Education (AIK) at Muhammadiyah Junior High School, using the first two stages of the ADDIE model (Analysis and Design). The study is based on theoretical frameworks such as social media-based learning, the challenges of AIK in the 21st century, and educational theories like constructivism and connectivism. The platform is designed to offer interactive and engaging learning through visual content like infographics, educational videos, and Instagram’s interactive features (polls, stories, comments, and live sessions). This approach aims to enhance students' digital literacy, provide relevant content, and strengthen Islamic character. While the platform has potential, it faces limitations, including a lack of empirical data to measure its effectiveness, the risk of oversimplifying complex AIK material, and an unclear evaluation system. Additionally, access issues and age restrictions hinder its use. The study suggests continuous development, integration with face-to-face learning, and inclusive strategies to ensure equitable access for all students, positioning this platform as a model for AIK learning in the digital age.

The halal cosmetics industry in Indonesia has grown rapidly in recent years in line with the increasing awareness of Muslim consumers regarding product safety, cleanliness, and compliance with Islamic law. However, this industry still faces several challenges, particularly related to the availability of halal-certified raw materials, production process standardization, and coordination among key stakeholders. This study aims to analyze the synergy between the government, business actors, and halal certification institutions in the development of the halal cosmetics cluster in Indonesia. Using a qualitative approach and case study design, this research draws on literature analysis and applies the concepts of halal industry clusters and the triple helix model. The results indicate that collaboration among cosmetic manufacturers, government institutions, and certification bodies such as BPOM and LPPOM-MUI has strengthened consumer trust and legal assurance regarding halal products. Nevertheless, barriers remain, including limited knowledge among producers about halal standards and uneven support infrastructures across regions. Therefore, strengthening policy integration, capacity building for industry players, and institutional support is necessary to enhance the competitiveness and sustainability of the halal cosmetics industry in accordance with the principles of Maqashid Sharia.

The internationalization of the Indonesian language and culture has become a crucial strategy in strengthening cultural diplomacy in the Southeast Asian region, particularly through the Indonesian Language for Foreign Speakers (BIPA) program. As a strategic partner country, Thailand hosts several universities that offer BIPA programs, including Chiang Mai University. However, a key challenge in implementing BIPA instruction abroad is the limited availability of contextual teaching materials that specifically reflect the richness of Indonesian culture. This study aims to examine the process and outcomes of a training program on the development of BIPA teaching materials based on Solo Batik for students at Chiang Mai University as a concrete form of Indonesia’s language and cultural internationalization. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through participatory observation during the training sessions, semi-structured interviews with facilitators and participants, and document analysis of the teaching materials developed. The findings reveal that the training not only enhanced students’ understanding of the structure and functions of the Indonesian language but also fostered their appreciation of the cultural values embedded in the motifs, philosophy, and production process of Solo Batik. The students successfully produced creative, contextual, and learner-oriented teaching material prototypes, such as visual modules, interactive dialogues, and culture-based worksheets. These findings highlight the importance of integrating local culture into the development of BIPA teaching materials as an effective strategy for expanding the global reach of the Indonesian language. Consequently, this training serves as a collaborative model that can be replicated in other countries to support the sustainable internationalization of Indonesia’s language and cultural policies.

This community service activity aims to foster children’s independence in worship through mentoring on the practice of ablution (wudhu) and prayer (sholat) at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Jihad. The activity was motivated by preliminary observations showing that most first and second-grade students already recognized the basic procedures of wudhu and sholat but still needed guidance in mastering the correct order of movements and recitations. Therefore, this mentoring program was carried out as an effort to develop students’ religious character from an early age through direct practice and habituation in the school environment. The implementation method used a participatory and educative approach consisting of several stages, including initial observation, collaborative planning with teachers, mentoring in wudhu and sholat practices, and final evaluation. The activity was carried out collaboratively among students, teachers, and university mentors, creating an active, interactive, and joyful learning atmosphere. The results showed a significant improvement in students’ independence and understanding in performing wudhu and sholat correctly. Students were able to memorize the sequence of wudhu, perform prayer movements more accurately, and worship with greater focus and discipline without constant supervision. Teachers also reported increased student awareness and consistency in performing daily prayers after the mentoring sessions. Overall, this program had a positive impact on fostering the habit of worship in the school environment and demonstrated that hands-on practice combined with exemplary guidance is an effective approach to instill religious values and build independent character in young learners

This research stems from the urgency of the role of public relations in Islamic educational institutions, particularly madrasas, which is increasingly complex and strategic in the current digital and information era. Public relations is not only tasked with disseminating information but also with building an image, maintaining public trust, and managing effective communication between the madrasa and various stakeholders such as students, parents, teachers, and the wider community. This study aims to identify and analyze the application of ethics and professionalism in public relations at SMP Plus Darus Sholah in Jember and its impact on the institution's image and public trust. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. The findings indicate that the application of Islamic ethical values—such as shiddiq (honesty), amanah (trustworthiness), and tabligh (transparency)—in public relations practices significantly enhances the madrasa's credibility and public trust. Additionally, the professionalism of public relations officers, characterized by structured communication planning and interpersonal ethics, plays a crucial role in building a positive institutional image. However, challenges such as a lack of formal training and understanding of ethical standards remain. The implications of this study highlight the need for policy recommendations to enhance the capacity and integrity of public relations personnel in Islamic educational institutions to support their role as the forefront of institutional communication.

This study examines the transformation of Prophet Muhammad’s concept of governance within the framework of Islamic Constitutional Law and its relevance and implementation in Indonesia’s modern governmental system. The governance established by the Prophet in Medina laid the foundation of a state order grounded in monotheism, justice, consultation, and the rule of law. These principles reflect the essence of Islamic governance that upholds morality, equality, and social responsibility. This research employs a qualitative approach using normative-historical methods by exploring classical and constitutional Islamic sources such as the Medina Charter, the Qur’an, and Hadith, then comparing them with Indonesia’s constitutional principles as embodied in the 1945 Constitution. The findings indicate a strong alignment between the values of Prophet Muhammad’s governance and Indonesia’s constitutional system, particularly in aspects of social justice, people’s participation, and respect for the law. Nonetheless, differences exist in terms of the foundation of power legitimacy and the source of legal authority. The study concludes that the governance model of Prophet Muhammad can serve as a moral and ethical reference for strengthening modern Indonesian governance without altering the democratic principles of Pancasila. Thus, the universal values of Islamic governance remain relevant and adaptable to the modern state context..

The digital era requires companies to adapt to modern, efficient, and accurate taxation systems. This study aims to analyze the implementation of an integrated system to optimize tax administration processes in a port service company in Indonesia. The focus of this research is to examine how the integration of systems such as SAP, Coretax, Microsoft Excel, and digital banking platforms is utilized to manage Income Tax Article 23 (PPh 23), Value Added Tax (VAT), and the tax reimbursement process. This study employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive case study design, conducted through participatory observation, document analysis, and informal interviews with employees directly involved in tax administration. The results indicate that the integrated system positively impacts the efficiency, consistency, and reliability of tax administration processes. It helps streamline workflows and accelerate tax reporting, particularly in managing PPh 23 and VAT. However, weaknesses remain in the manual data recap stage using Microsoft Excel, which is prone to human error due to the absence of automatic validation mechanisms. Therefore, this study recommends developing a standardized Excel template equipped with automatic validation features and providing training for staff to enhance data accuracy and administrative effectiveness. These findings are expected to serve as a practical reference for other companies in implementing an integrated taxation system that is optimal and sustainable, as well as encouraging increased efficiency and compliance with tax administration in the corporate environment.

Madrasah diniyyah and pesantren in the Indonesian context have often been viewed as non-formal or religious educational institutions, rather than as active legal subjects in national development. However, regulatory transformations and contextual challenges have prompted the need for legal recognition of these institutions in order to align them with the ideals of Pancasila. This study aims to analyze the role of madrasah diniyyah and pesantren. The methods used are normative and comparative qualitative research with a review of legislation and case studies of madrasah diniyyah/pesantren. The findings show that although regulations (e.g., the Pesantren Law) have provided legal recognition, there are still structural obstacles in the form of differences in institutional status, administrative capacity, and interpretative conflicts of values. On the other hand, several pesantren have successfully reconstructed themselves as actors of local development through community empowerment programs. In conclusion, legal recognition needs to be strengthened through the formulation of complementary regulations, institutional capacity building, and synergy between the government and pesantren communities so that these institutions can become pillars of national development based on Pancasila.

This study examines the complex issue of citizenship in interfaith marriages within Indonesia’s legal and human rights framework. The problem arises from the absence of explicit provisions in national law regarding the civil registration and citizenship consequences of marriages between individuals of different religions. This legal ambiguity often results in unequal recognition, difficulties in registering children’s citizenship, and broader implications for the right to identity. The research aims to analyze how Indonesian marriage law, administrative population law, and judicial interpretations interact with international and constitutional human rights principles. Using a normative juridical method combined with case study analysis and doctrinal review, this study identifies legal inconsistencies between national regulations and the principle of non-discrimination guaranteed under human rights law. The findings indicate that judicial practices, such as post-SEMA No. 2 of 2023 rulings, show a gradual shift toward balancing legal certainty with human rights protection, although disparities persist across jurisdictions. The study concludes that reform is required to clarify the status of interfaith marriages and to protect the citizenship rights of all parties involved, including children. It recommends that legislators harmonize marriage and citizenship laws with constitutional mandates and human rights instruments to ensure equality before the law, legal certainty, and respect for individual freedoms.

This study aims to analyze the strategies used by Islamic banks to improve Islamic financial literacy in the digital era and to identify the challenges and opportunities that arise during their implementation. A mixed method approach with a concurrent triangulation design was applied, combining qualitative data collected through interviews and document analysis with quantitative data gathered from community perception surveys regarding Islamic financial literacy. Data analysis involved thematic content analysis for qualitative data and descriptive statistics for quantitative data, which were later integrated through triangulation to produce more comprehensive findings. The results indicate that Islamic banks implement strategies centered on the synergy between direct educational programs, collaboration with academic institutions and communities, and the utilization of digital technology through applications and social media platforms. The findings also reveal a significant literacy gap, particularly among younger generations and groups with limited digital access. Nevertheless, opportunities for literacy improvement continue to expand through internet penetration, digital innovation, and increasing public trust in the Islamic financial system. Overall, the study concludes that the success of Islamic financial literacy programs depends on the sustainable integration of educational and digital strategies.
