Improving teacher competency is a key factor in improving the quality of education. One of the latest innovations in teacher professional development in Indonesia is the Merdeka Mengajar Platform (PMM), a digital-based platform designed to provide flexible access to independent training. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of PMM in improving teachers' pedagogical and professional competencies, especially in the context of educational transformation in the digital era. The method used is a literature study, by collecting and analyzing relevant literature from reputable academic sources. The results of the study indicate that PMM significantly improves teacher competency through interactive modules, online learning communities, and digital resources designed for learning personalization. Teachers who participate in training through PMM show better ability in implementing innovative learning strategies compared to those who do not use this platform or participate in traditional training. However, the effectiveness of PMM can be influenced by teachers' technological readiness and digital literacy, especially in areas with limited infrastructure. This study highlights the importance of supporting technology-based education policies to ensure that the benefits of PMM can be felt inclusively and sustainably. In conclusion, PMM is a promising solution to address the teacher training gap in Indonesia, but requires a strategic approach to improve its access and effectiveness. Further research is needed to evaluate the long-term empirical impact of this platform on teacher professional development and student learning quality.

Cultural education is crucial for preserving local wisdom, especially in Indonesia, which is rich in diverse traditions and cultures. However, there are many challenges in maintaining it, particularly in the era of modernization and technological advancement. One way to preserve local wisdom is through education. Education, in general, plays a role in civilization, where the goal of civilization is to improve the quality of humanity, ultimately producing advanced and civilized individuals. Values, knowledge, and cultural practices that have been passed down through generations are known as local wisdom. The aim of this article is to examine how cultural education can help maintain, preserve, and transmit local wisdom to younger generations. Cultural education can enhance appreciation and love for local culture, as well as foster an understanding of local history and identity. A context-based approach allows cultural education to link academic knowledge with everyday life. It can also strengthen public awareness of the importance of preserving traditions. In the face of globalization challenges, cultural education is also vital in raising the awareness of younger generations to differentiate external influences without disregarding indigenous culture. By integrating the values embedded in local wisdom into the school curriculum and promoting education based on local wisdom practices, education can play a key role in preserving local wisdom. E The integration of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles into e-procurement systems offers a pathway to achieving sustainable public procurement in Indonesia. This study explores relevant ESG criteria and formulates strategies to enhance the capacity of procurement personnel in implementing these principles. The findings highlight the importance of incorporating environmental criteria such as energy efficiency, eco-friendly materials, and waste management; social criteria like labor standards compliance, local MSME empowerment, and gender equality; and governance criteria including transparency, anti-corruption, and tax compliance. While e-procurement provides a digital platform to improve efficiency and transparency, challenges such as limited awareness, capacity gaps, and the absence of specific ESG guidelines hinder effective implementation. To address these issues, the study proposes strategic measures, including the development of ESG-based evaluation systems, comprehensive training programs for procurement personnel, and robust monitoring frameworks. These initiatives aim to align procurement practices with the principles of Sustainable Public Procurement (SPP), ensuring that procurement contributes to environmental sustainability, social equity, and better governance. By overcoming existing barriers and fostering collaboration among stakeholders, Indonesia can position itself as a leader in sustainable procurement practices. This research provides practical recommendations to integrate ESG into procurement systems, paving the way for a more accountable, equitable, and sustainable procurement framework.

This study aims to analyze the potential for developing Wind Power Plants (PLTB) in Gorontalo Province, focusing on wind speed in several strategic locations. The consistent and relatively high wind speeds in coastal and lowland areas of Gorontalo make the region highly suitable for developing wind energy as a renewable energy source. This research utilizes meteorological data to measure wind speed at four locations: Batudaa Pantai 1, Batudaa Pantai 2, Kwandang, and Sumalata. The analysis reveals that wind speeds range from 6.73 m/s to 7.08 m/s, with electricity generation capacity per turbine ranging from 146 kW to 170 kW. The total electricity capacity that can be generated by 30 turbines across these locations is 18.9 MW. This potential provides a significant contribution to meeting renewable energy needs in Gorontalo and Indonesia in general. However, the development of PLTB in this area requires further consideration of technical, economic, social, and regulatory aspects. Therefore, it is recommended to conduct a comprehensive feasibility study to assess the technical and economic viability, as well as the social and economic impacts on local communities. Additionally, government support in terms of policy and fiscal incentives will expedite the development of PLTB in Gorontalo, which in turn can contribute to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and supporting sustainable energy in the future.
