Sumbersari Village is one of the few places where child marriage is still a problem. Children's mental health, education, and future prospects are all negatively impacted by this practice. The KKN (Community Service Program) group organizes community service projects that teach fifth and sixth graders about the dangers of child marriage and give them the opportunity to socialize. One of the strategies used is a question and answer session with incentives to increase student engagement, as well as presenting material in simple language and facilitating interactive conversations. The results show that students' interest and knowledge about child marriage risks increases. This activity has limitations due to its limited reach, especially for elementary school children, and the relatively basic nature of the subject matter. Therefore, for initiatives to combat child marriage to be more successful and sustainable, follow-up programs involving parents, adolescents, and community leaders are essential. Collaboration with relevant parties is needed to create deeper policies, as well as increase awareness of the importance of women's education and empowerment in preventing child marriage.

Women's involvement in election supervision remains relatively low, despite the significant number of female voters in many regions. This condition indicates a gap between women's electoral participation as voters and their active role in ensuring fair and transparent elections. Therefore, this community service activity aims to increase women's understanding and participation in election supervision through community-based outreach and education programs. The methods used include structured outreach sessions, interactive discussions, question-and-answer forums, and the provision of educational materials related to participatory supervision and the importance of democratic accountability. This activity was carried out in East Lombok Regency with the active involvement of various women's organizations and local community groups. The results showed a noticeable increase in participants' understanding of the importance of election supervision, including their awareness of rights and responsibilities as citizens. In addition, there was a growing commitment among participants to be actively involved in supervision efforts, both individually and collectively. This program is expected to encourage more inclusive, participatory, and equitable election supervision, while also strengthening women's roles in supporting democratic processes at the local level.

This community service activity was carried out on 21 September 2024 at Banksasuci (Bank Sampah Sungai Cisadane), Cihuni, Gading Serpong, Tangerang Regency, as part of the SOUL PROJECT (Save Our Earth With Law) organized by the Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Law, UPN Veteran Jakarta. The program focused on urban planning and water management in relation to the impact of development on Cisadane River water quality. The Cisadane River is one of the most vital water sources in Banten Province, supplying raw water for PDAM, agriculture, fisheries, and industry. However, rapid urbanization—marked by dense residential sprawl and industrial expansion—has caused a significant and sustained decline in river water quality. Research shows that COD and BOD concentrations in the Cisadane River trended upward continuously from 2005 to 2012, driven by industrial effluents concentrated in Jatiuwung and domestic wastewater from slum settlements. Institutional management of the river remains fragmented across multiple agencies at city, provincial, and national levels with weak coordination. This activity engaged approximately 50 participants through legal education sessions, participatory field discussions, river cleaning, and tree-planting activities. Results indicate a significant increase in participant awareness of the link between spatial planning, infrastructure development, and river water quality. This program recommends integrated spatial governance and community-based monitoring as key strategies for protecting the Cisadane River ecosystem.

This study aims to understand the dynamics of self-awareness and transcendental experiences in high school students from the perspective of the psychology of religion. Adolescence is a developmental phase characterized by the search for identity, self-reflection, and increased spiritual awareness. This study used a qualitative approach with phenomenological methods to explore students' subjective experiences related to self-awareness and spiritual experiences. The study participants consisted of two high school students aged 15–18, selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data collection was conducted through in-depth semi-structured interviews supported by field notes. The data were analyzed using phenomenological analysis through the stages of phenomenological reduction, identification of key statements, grouping themes, and essential descriptions of experiences. The results indicate that spiritual experiences in worship practices foster a sense of closeness to God, encourage self-reflection, help students cope with stress, and foster awareness to improve behavior. These findings suggest that transcendental experiences play a significant role in the development of self-awareness and character formation in adolescents.

Tax awareness among the young generation is a crucial issue in national economic development, as taxes are the primary source of state revenue. This study aims to analyze the relationship between tax education and young people's perceptions of state obligations in shaping tax awareness. The method used is a literature review (library research) by analyzing various national scientific journals from the last five years. Results indicate that tax awareness among young people is still relatively low, although digital-based education has shown positive improvements. Perceptions of taxes as a state obligation are strongly influenced by knowledge, trust in government, and tax service quality. Interactive and technology-based education has proven effective in improving understanding and positive attitudes toward taxes. Therefore, synergy between government, educational institutions, and digital media is urgently needed to enhance tax literacy from an early age to ensure future fiscal sustainability.

This study aims to collect Serawai ethnic folktales, analyze their narrative structures, and identify the cultural values embedded within them. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method using structural and cultural value approaches. Data were obtained through interviews with informants, resulting in the collection of six Serawai folktales, namely Si Pahit Lidah (Serunting Sakti), Dusun Tinggi (Sebakas), Danau Kuranding, Batu Balai, Misteri Bukit Candi, and Sepit Kancing. The analysis focuses on structural elements, including theme, plot, characters and characterization, and setting, followed by an examination of cultural values using Clyde Kluckhohn’s cultural value orientation theory. The findings show that the six folktales are constructed through the integration of narrative elements that form a unified meaning and convey moral and cultural messages to the community. The dominant character, Serunting Sakti, represents wisdom, moral responsibility, and leadership. Furthermore, the analysis reveals that Serawai folktales contain five cultural value orientations proposed by Kluckhohn: the nature of human life, human work, human relations with time, human relations with nature, and human relations with others. These values are reflected in attitudes of wisdom, honesty, responsibility, hard work, appreciation of experience, environmental awareness, mutual cooperation, deliberation, and respect for customary traditions. Among these orientations, the most dominant is human relations with others. Overall, Serawai folktales function as oral literary heritage and as a medium for transmitting cultural values, preserving local wisdom, and strengthening Serawai cultural identity.

This study aims to analyze the role of Gambus music education in fostering appreciation for Riau Malay oral traditions in higher education. Amidst the wave of globalization, oral traditions such as pantun, syair, and gurindam are losing their space of actualization among the younger generation. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design at the Universitas Islam Riau. Data were collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that Gambus music learning, which integrates experiential learning methods through three main stages textual analysis, musical practice, and contextual reflection is effective in increasing students' cultural awareness. The integration of oral tradition texts into musical materials allows students to deeply internalize moral, religious, and social values. Despite challenges such as limited curriculum time allocation, the involvement of expert practitioners serves as a key supporting factor in providing an authentic learning experience. The study concludes that Gambus music in higher education functions as a strategic educational instrument to revitalize oral traditions as a "living archive" and strengthen students' cultural identity.

This study examines the practice and meaning of hijab among Muslim female students in the Indonesian Language and Literature Department to determine whether the hijab is understood more as a religious obligation or as a form of identity choice. The purpose of this study is to describe the motivations, patterns of practice, social influences, and experiences of female students related to wearing the hijab in their daily lives, both on and off campus. The study employed a quantitative-descriptive design complemented by qualitative components. A structured questionnaire consisting of Likert-scale statements and open-ended questions was distributed to 70 Muslim female students, while essay responses were analyzed thematically to gain a deeper understanding of the respondents’ perspectives. Quantitative data were summarized using descriptive statistics in the form of percentage distributions to identify response tendencies, while qualitative data were coded to present representative experiences, views, and reasons underlying the decision to wear the hijab. The results showed that the majority of female students consistently wore the hijab primarily because of religious beliefs and personal awareness as Muslim women, although cultural identity, family environment, and social acceptance also influenced the practice. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of recognizing the hijab as both a manifestation of faith and a social identity, as well as the need for a campus environment that respects individual motivations, choices, and autonomy in wearing the hijab.

This study examines the eschatological. Dimensions present in the encyclical Laudato Si’ and their implications for ecological responsibility within the Christian faith. The increasing global ecological crisis necessitates a serious theological reflection capable of grounding believers’ engagement with environmental issues in their faith convictions. Eschatology, as the doctrinal framework concerning ultimate realities, addresses not merely the end of individual human existence but, more profoundly, the hope for the renewal and transformation of all creation in God. The research employs a qualitative method with a library research approach, drawing primarily on ecclesiastical documents, Sacred Scripture, and relevant theological literature. The findings demonstrate that Laudato Si’ integrates a robust eschatological vision, wherein the promise of “a new heaven and a new earth” constitutes the theological foundation for human responsibility toward creation. Contrary to interpretations that treat eschatological hope as a rationale for passivity or disengagement from the world, Laudato Si’ affirms that such hope actively motivates believers to participate in the care and preservation of the environment as an integral expression of their faith calling. This study concludes that eschatology possesses genuine practical relevance for everyday Christian life, particularly in cultivating ecological awareness. Faith in the ultimate fulfillment of God’s salvific plan, far from diminishing present-day responsibilities, intensifies the moral obligation to treat the earth as a “common home” entrusted to humanity.

The role of the ward chairman in the Catholic Church community is very important and strategic for the growth and development of the ecclesiastical community. However, the problem arises that the heads of the environment often accept the responsibility of this position by being forced, burdened and not willing to carry it out. This research aims to make the ward leaders realize that receiving leadership through this position can be very value-added, not only for themselves but also for others they serve. The method chosen is a literature study with the main reference from the leadership model of John C, Maxwell which is integrated with the results of research related to it. Based on the study, it is known that the reflection writing method is an effective strategy because it is able to foster the self-awareness of the Ward Chairs, so that it can increase the level of leadership that provides more value, both for themselves and others. Quantitative research is needed to measure the level of leadership, as well as qualitative research to comprehensively examine the research subjects at each leadership level.

Taxpayer compliance is a crucial factor in optimizing state revenue to support national development financing independently. This study aims to analyze the dynamics of taxpayer compliance in Indonesia by examining two main aspects: individual awareness and the effectiveness of the tax system. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with a literature review of various national journals from the last five years. The findings indicate that taxpayer compliance is influenced not only by internal factors such as knowledge, awareness, and tax morale but also by external factors such as tax service quality, system digitalization, and regulatory complexity. Tax reforms and the implementation of digital systems such as e-filing and e-billing have been proven to significantly increase taxpayer compliance through ease of access and reporting efficiency. However, real challenges remain, such as low community tax literacy and perceptions of unfairness regarding the management of tax funds by the government. Therefore, a strong synergy is needed between increasing public awareness through continuous education and improving the taxation system to create sustainable and optimal compliance. Improving transparency and accountability in the management of tax funds is a strategic step to strengthen public trust in tax authorities in Indonesia.

This study investigates the use of oral corrective feedback (OCF) in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) classrooms among Indonesian university students, with a particular focus on lecturers’ preferences and students’ perceptions. The research addresses three main aspects: the types of errors that are corrected, the strategies of OCF employed, and the timing of feedback delivery. A qualitative case study design was adopted, involving classroom observations, semi-structured interviews with lecturers, and open-ended questionnaires distributed to students. Data from these instruments were analyzed separately and then triangulated to ensure credibility and validity. The findings reveal that lecturers mainly prioritize correcting phonological and grammatical errors, as these are perceived to directly influence students’ communicative competence and overall speaking performance. Among the six OCF types proposed by Lyster and Ranta (1997), recast and repetition emerged as the most frequently used strategies. These approaches were favored by lecturers as they corrected learners subtly while minimizing the risk of embarrassment and maintaining the flow of communication. Furthermore, lecturers applied both immediate and delayed feedback depending on the classroom context and learning objectives. From the students’ perspective, OCF was generally viewed positively, as it contributed to raising awareness of errors and fostering speaking improvement. Students particularly appreciated feedback strategies that respected their confidence and speaking flow. Overall, the study underscores the importance of aligning teacher practices with student preferences to maximize the effectiveness of oral corrective feedback in EFL learning contexts.

The circulation of illegal cigarettes in Kudus Regency remains a serious problem that is detrimental to the state and disrupts a healthy business competition climate. This study aims to analyze the forms and mechanisms of law enforcement by the Kudus Customs and Excise Supervision and Service Office against these violations based on Law Number 39 of 2007 concerning Excise, and to identify inhibiting factors in its implementation. The research method used is an empirical juridical approach with a qualitative descriptive research type through interviews with officials of the Kudus Customs and Excise Supervision and Service Office and a literature study of related documents and regulations. The circulation of illegal cigarettes is still found in various forms of violations, with plain cigarettes without excise stamps being the most frequently found type. The resulting impacts include reduced state revenue, disrupted competitiveness of the legal cigarette industry, and low levels of public legal compliance. In its implementation, the Kudus Customs and Excise Supervision and Service Office faces obstacles in the form of limited personnel and facilities, difficulties in location searches, and low public legal awareness. This research is expected to contribute to increasing the effectiveness of law enforcement in the excise sector and support efforts to eradicate the circulation of illegal cigarettes in Indonesia
