This study aims to explore how religious Muslim students interpret halal labels on product packaging and how these interpretations influence their consumption behavior. In the context of increasing awareness of halal product importance, halal labeling is not just a symbol of religious law, but also a guarantee of quality, safety, and trust. The research uses a descriptive qualitative method phenomenological approach, involving students from UIN Prof. K.H. Saifuddin Zuhri Purwokerto who were selected through purposive sampling. Data was collected through semi-structured interviews, literature study, and documentation, then analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings reveal that highly religious students tend to be more selective, careful, and responsible in choosing products, prioritizing those with halal certification even when priced higher. The halal label provides psychological comfort and certainty that the product aligns with Islamic principles. Additionally, a strong understanding of halal labels increases consumer loyalty and supports the growth of the halal industry through rising demand for certified products. Thus, the halal label plays a significant role in shaping the consumption patterns of religious Muslim students and contributes to the broader development of the halal industry in Indonesia.

Akuntansi dan Ekonomi Pajak: Perspektif Global 2025 Asosiasi Riset Ekonomi dan Akuntansi Indonesia

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the implementation of the public sector accounting cycle in the planning, implementation, administration, and evaluation of catfish cultivation programs run by BUMDes Ajoeng Jaya as part of the village food security program. The focus of the research departs from the need to ensure that each stage of the management of the BUMDes program runs according to the principles of public accountability, considering that BUMDes is a strategic entity in the management of village resources to improve the welfare of the community. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach through field observation, in-depth interviews with the management of BUMDes Ajoeng Jaya, and a review of documentation related to catfish farming program activities and financial records. This approach allows researchers to gain a comprehensive understanding of the accounting practices applied as well as the various obstacles that arise during the implementation of food security programs. The results of the study show that the catfish cultivation program has failed due to weak internal supervision, the absence of SOPs, lack of financial recording and reporting, and lack of technical competence of managers. The implementation of the public sector accounting cycle has not been running optimally so that it is not able to support effective control and evaluation of programs. In addition, crop failures are exacerbated by theft by internal parties and the absence of a structured monitoring system throughout the program, which indicates weak governance and internal control. This study has limitations in the form of a small number of informants and a lack of formal documents, so the analysis—especially the financial aspect—cannot be generalized widely. Nevertheless, this study contributes by integrating the evaluation of food security programs through the implementation of the public sector accounting cycle and offering recommendations to improve the accountability, transparency, and sustainability of BUMDes programs.

This study analyzes the role of the Golkar Party of Serang City in the formulation and oversight of Regional Regulation Number 11 of 2019 on the Implementation of Tourism Business Governance using the Institutional Analysis and Development (IAD) framework. The study aims to examine how political party institutions perform their functions in local legislative processes, particularly in terms of public representation, interest articulation, and policy oversight. A qualitative case study approach was employed, involving in-depth interviews with party actors and members of the Regional House of Representatives (DPRD), as well as document analysis of relevant policy materials. The findings reveal that Golkar’s role in the formulation and supervision of the regulation was predominantly carried out by its legislative faction through informal mechanisms, while the party’s organizational structure played a limited institutional role. The process of absorbing public aspirations was relatively constrained and tended to favor groups with close social and political ties, indicating that the party has not fully exercised its functions of public articulation and accountability. From the perspective of the IAD framework, this condition reflects weaknesses in internal rules, actor capacity, and interaction mechanisms within the party as a political institution in the policy arena. Therefore, strengthening Golkar’s institutional capacity is essential to enable a more substantive, responsive, and inclusive role in local legislative and policy oversight processes

The increasingly massive development of social media has been exploited by terrorist groups as a strategic tool to spread propaganda, violent ideology, and radicalism to the wider community, especially the younger generation. This situation demands an effective counter-radicalization strategy that adapts to the dynamics of the digital space. This study aims to analyze the strengthening of legal instruments and the role and institutional structure of the National Counterterrorism Agency (BNPT) in implementing social media-based counter-radicalization policies. The research method used is a normative juridical approach with a legislative approach and a conceptual approach, through a review of laws and regulations, legal doctrine, and policies related to counter-terrorism in Indonesia. The results show that the normative legal basis for BNPT's authority to carry out counter-radicalization is already available, particularly in the Law on the Eradication of Criminal Acts of Terrorism. However, its implementation still faces various obstacles, including weak derivative regulations specifically governing the supervision and counter-measures of digital radicalism, limited inter-agency coordination, and suboptimal evaluation of data- and technology-based policies. Therefore, this study recommends strengthening derivative regulations, increasing the digital capacity of BNPT, and developing a more integrated coordination and evaluation system.

Leadership in educational organizations, especially in the Darul Hikmah Modern Islamic Boarding School in Medan, faces the challenges of modernity that demand integration between traditional spiritual values and management professionalism. This study aims to analyze the existing leadership structure and design a new structure that integrates the Transformational, Distributive, and Instructional models that are aligned with the local wisdom of North Sumatra, namely the Dalihan Na Tolu philosophy. The method used is qualitative case analysis with observation and interviews. The results of the analysis show that the current leadership is dominated by charismatic and centralistic styles (strong Transformational), but weak in the Distributive dimension (low teacher participation) and Adaptive Technology Instructional. The proposed new leadership structure design emphasizes the formation of a Quality Supervisory Board (DPM) and the Head of Human Resources & Regeneration. This new model places the Kyai/Head of the Islamic Boarding School as the spiritual authority (Hula-hula), Mudir/Executive Director as the managerial change agent (Dongan Tubu), and strengthens the academic/innovation function (Boru). The conclusion suggests that leadership transformation in this Islamic boarding school requires a shift from a figure-based system to a competency-based and collaborative system, making it an adaptive, professional institution firmly rooted in local values.

Poverty remains a central issue in regional development, particularly in areas with pronounced economic disparities such as South Sumatra Province. This study aims to examine the effect of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) on the poverty rate across regencies and cities in South Sumatra during the period 2020–2024. A quantitative research approach was employed using panel data regression analysis, supported by descriptive statistics and classical assumption tests. The empirical findings indicate that GRDP has a negative and statistically significant effect on poverty, suggesting that an increase in regional economic capacity contributes to reducing poverty levels. However, the relatively small coefficient signifies that economic growth has not been fully inclusive and is influenced by the structural characteristics of each region. The Fixed Effect Model was identified as the most appropriate specification, highlighting the existence of heterogeneity across districts that shapes the relationship between GRDP and poverty. These results underscore the need for development strategies that not only promote economic growth but also ensure an equitable distribution of its benefits through the reinforcement of labor-intensive sectors, enhancement of human capital, and strengthening of local economic structures. The study provides valuable insights for regional policymakers in designing more effective and sustainable poverty alleviation strategies.

State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) are business entities whose capital is wholly or primarily owned by the government, and in the form of Persero, partial capital participation from the private sector is permitted. Earnings quality reflects the firm’s true economic condition; therefore, it is influenced by financial conditions and the policies implemented. This study aims to examine the effect of accounting conservatism, capital structure, liquidity, profitability, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) disclosure on earnings quality in SOEs listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2023 and 2024. Research data were obtained from financial statements and sustainability reports as secondary sources, and analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS software. The findings indicate that accounting conservatism has a positive effect on earnings quality, whereas liquidity and profitability have negative effects. Meanwhile, capital structure and CSR disclosure show no significant effect on earnings quality. These results provide empirical insights for stakeholders in understanding the factors that influence the reliability of earnings information in SOEs.

Language processing disorders are disorders that arise when someone is under mental stress or experiencing deep emotional trauma. This study aims to analyze the various types of language processing disorders experienced by the character Tari in the film "Bolehkah Sekali Saja Aku Menangis" (May I Cry Once) and to determine the relationship between the character's emotional state and the linguistic symptoms that appear. This study uses a qualitative approach with a naturalistic approach and analytical descriptive methods, where data are collected through observation and recording of dialogues in the film that show signs of language disorders. Samples were taken purposively based on statements that indicate irregularities in sentence structure, long pauses, repetitions, or inappropriate word choices. This analysis compares the results of the study with existing psycholinguistic theories regarding how language processing works and the influence of trauma on speech production. The findings of this study indicate four main types of language processing disorders experienced by the character Tari: unfinished sentences, long pauses, repetitions of words or phrases, and inaccuracies in word choice. These types of disorders are more apparent when the character experiences high emotional stress and when interacting with family members related to her trauma.  The results of this study support the theory that emotional trauma can disrupt verbal working memory function and speech planning processes, ultimately impeding communication skills.

This study examines the words structure of two selected songs, “Kekal” and “Di Akhir Perang”, from Nadin Amizah’s album Untuk Dunia, Cinta, dan Kotornya, with a focus on identifying and interpreting the functions of open class words and closed class words within the lyrical composition. The background of this research lies in the growing interest in understanding how contemporary Indonesian songwriters construct meaning through linguistic choices that contribute to the emotional depth of their works. The objective of this study is to analyze how open class words such as nouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs contribute to semantic imagery, while closed class words such as pronouns, conjunctions, prepositions, and aspects establish grammatical cohesion and narrative continuity. Using qualitative descriptive methods, the lyrics were segmented, categorized, and interpreted based on linguistic theory to reveal the semantic and grammatical roles of each word class. The findings show that open class words dominate the emotional and metaphorical landscape of the songs, functioning as carriers of imagery, personal vulnerability, and symbolic representation of healing, love, and existential reflection. Meanwhile, closed class words serve as structural anchors that link ideas, mark relationships between clauses, and maintain narrative fluidity, particularly in expressing inner conflict and the resolution of emotional war depicted in the lyrics. The study concludes that Nadin Amizah’s lyricism is not only aesthetically expressive but also linguistically strategic, revealing a deliberate interplay between lexical creativity and grammatical precision. These findings imply that linguistic analysis can enrich the appreciation of contemporary Indonesian music and open new perspectives for future studies in stylistics, discourse analysis, and cultural semantics.

This study investigates the clinical handover process as a critical component of patient safety and healthcare service quality in hospital settings. Inconsistent communication, incomplete documentation, and the absence of standardized procedures were identified as major problems contributing to communication failures and potential adverse events. The objective of this research was to develop and test a structured and effective handover model that could improve communication accuracy and documentation reliability among healthcare professionals. A mixed methods design was employed, consisting of a qualitative phase (in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis) to explore real-world handover practices, followed by a quantitative phase using a pretest–posttest design to evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed model. The study proposes an integrated handover model based on SBAR-IM (Situation, Background, Assessment, Recommendation, Intervention, Monitoring) strengthened by Quality Control (QC) and Mutual Confirmation (MC) mechanisms. The findings demonstrate a significant improvement in handover quality after implementation, with communication scores increasing from 74 to 84.5 and documentation scores improving from 48.3 to 63.0 (p < 0.05). Qualitative results further revealed reduced communication errors, improved clarity of clinical information, and enhanced interprofessional collaboration. This study concludes that the proposed SBAR-IM–based QC–MC model is effective, practical, and suitable for improving patient safety and healthcare service quality in hospital environments.

This study aims to: 1) identify and analyze the degree of fiscal decentralization and the level of financial independence of regencies and cities in North Sumatra Province during the period 2015–2024; and 2) analyze the variation in regional revenue realization based on its components, as well as the variation in regional financial capacity across regencies/cities during the same period. The methods used in this research include the Fiscal Decentralization Degree Ratio (DDF), the Regional Financial Independence Ratio (RKKD), and a Two-Way ANOVA test, supported by SPSS 20 software. The findings show that the degree of fiscal decentralization remains relatively low from year to year, indicating a strong dependence on central government transfers. Similarly, the regional financial independence ratio is also categorized as low, with an instructive pattern of relationship, meaning that regional governments still have limited ability to finance development needs independently. The Two-Way ANOVA test results reveal significant differences in regional revenue realization both across regencies/cities and across years within the study period. The largest variations are attributed to the differing characteristics of each regency/city, including economic potential, effectiveness in managing locally generated revenue, and variations in regional fiscal structures. These findings highlight the importance of enhancing fiscal capacity and optimizing local revenue sources throughout North Sumatra.
