This study aims to find the most dominant type of waste that damages the coastal area of Putra Deli Beach, Deli Serdang Regency. Based on field observations and interviews with local people, it was found that inorganic, including plastic, is the type of waste that damages the coastal environment the most. Plastic waste persists such as beverage bottles, plastic bags, styrofoam, and food wrappers which are dominant because they do not decompose quickly. This condition is exacerbated by the low public awareness in maintaining cleanliness and the lack of adequate waste management facilities. The impact is not only visually polluting the environment, but also threatening the marine ecosystem, public health, and reducing the value of local tourism. The results of this study are expected to be the basis for mitigation efforts and improving waste management in coastal areas.

Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is a metabolic disorder that is increasingly prevalent among the productive-age population and can significantly impair quality of life, particularly due to its progressive nature and often asymptomatic presentation in the early stages. Routine assessments of kidney function—such as estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) and serum creatinine levels—are essential for the early detection of kidney impairment. The Community Service Program (PKM) conducted in Grogol Village aimed to raise public awareness regarding the importance of early screening for kidney dysfunction. Among the 71 participants involved in the activity, 9 individuals (12.68%) had elevated serum creatinine levels, 4 individuals (5.63%) showed evidence of stage 3a kidney function decline, and 31 individuals (43.66%) were identified with stage 2 kidney function decline. Only 36 participants (50.7%) had normal kidney function. These results underscore the necessity of early detection efforts to prevent the progression of CKD and to promote sustained public awareness on the importance of maintaining kidney and metabolic health.   Keywords: Chronic Kidney Disease, Creatinine, eGFR, Early Detection, Productive Age

Nutritional issues in Indonesia continue to pose a significant public health challenge and necessitate early educational interventions. Children aged 7 to 9, categorized as part of Generation Alpha, are digital natives who are beginning to develop logical thinking abilities and demonstrate a strong preference for audiovisual content. In response, a two-dimensional digital animation entitled “MIGI: Makan Minum Bergizi” was developed as an educational medium. This project aims to implement the animation principles of appeal, exaggeration, and squash & stretch, which serve as the foundation for communication and visual quality in animation. The animation was produced using Adobe After Effects with the keyframe animation technique, resulting in the application of the appeal principle through uniquely simple internal organ character designs, bright and contrasting color palettes, and the use of symbolic language relevant to the target audience. The exaggeration principle was applied to dramatize movement and emotional shifts, while squash & stretch was implemented using scale transformation and puppet tools, maintaining volume consistency. These three animation principles were consciously and conceptually applied to enhance the visual appeal and communicative effectiveness of the educational message, making the work an engaging and potentially impactful learning medium.

This study aims to examine the effect of Work Life Balance (WLB) and Job Satisfaction (JS) on employee performance at PT PLN ULP Banjarbaru, both jointly and individually, while also identifying the most dominant factor influencing performance. The research background is based on theoretical frameworks, expert opinions, and the researcher’s direct observations of workplace conditions. To achieve the research objectives, hypotheses were formulated and tested using empirical data. The study employed a quantitative approach with a saturated sampling technique, involving the entire employee population. A total of 37 respondents participated as the research sample. The collected data underwent validity and reliability testing to ensure the accuracy and consistency of the measurement instruments. Furthermore, classical assumption tests were performed to meet the requirements of multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the analysis demonstrate that both Work Life Balance and Job Satisfaction have a significant effect on employee performance, both simultaneously and partially. Among the two independent variables, Work Life Balance was identified as the most dominant factor influencing performance, indicating that employees who maintain a better balance between their personal and professional lives tend to perform better in their work. The adjusted R² value of 0.862 signifies that 86.2% of the variation in employee performance can be explained by the two independent variables studied, while the remaining 13.8% is influenced by other variables not included in this research model, such as leadership style, work motivation, or organizational culture. These findings highlight the importance of maintaining a healthy work-life balance and ensuring job satisfaction to optimize employee performance. The study suggests that organizations should implement policies and practices that promote flexibility, support employee well-being, and foster a positive work environment to enhance both individual and organizational outcomes.

Clean living behavior can be done by maintaining the sustainability of life can be done by reducing waste, saving energy, planting trees, and not littering. Waste sorting can be done by separating organic and inorganic waste into different trash bins. In addition, inorganic waste can also be separated again based on its type, such as plastic, paper, glass, and metal. Facilitates the process of collecting and processing waste for recycling. The Principles of Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) recommend the use of waste sorting methods. The daily habits that we do to maintain personal and environmental cleanliness consist of this behavior. . Along with the emergence of various diseases that often attack children aged 6-12 years, PHBS in schools is a collection of behaviors carried out by students, teachers, and school residents based on learning so that they are able to independently prevent disease, improve their health. Implementation of better waste sorting practices can reduce the negative impact of waste on the environment, increase the efficiency of waste management, and provide long-term benefits for school residents. Schools are one of the places that have great potential to educate students about good waste management. SD Negeri 2 Kelusa has problems related to the lack of student knowledge about waste sorting and utilization, especially organic waste. Most students at SD Negeri 2 Kelusa still have limited understanding of the types of waste and how to process it. Most students do not realize and understand that organic waste can be reused, so they tend to throw it away with other waste.

Opposition is an important element in a democratic system that functions as a mechanism of control over power. In the context of Indonesian constitutionality, the existence of the opposition is a prerequisite for the realization of a healthy and effective democracy. However, in practice, the term opposition is often equated with the principle of checks and balances, thus causing a blur of meaning between the two. This paper aims to examine the paradigm of the opposition in the Pancasila democratic system and analyze the relationship between the opposition and the principle of checks and balances in the Indonesian constitutional system. This research uses a qualitative method with a normative juridical approach, through a conceptual approach and a legislative approach. An analysis was carried out on the doctrines of constitutional law and provisions in the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia related to the implementation of opposition and the principle of checks and balances. This approach was chosen to explore legal issues in depth and find a comprehensive understanding of the role of the opposition in the Indonesian constitutional system. The results of the study show that even though Indonesia does not adhere to a parliamentary or presidential system with two parties, the implementation of the opposition is still relevant and carried out with attention to the values of consensus in Pancasila democracy. The opposition in Indonesia is not confrontational, but constructive and oriented towards strengthening the system of supervision of power. Opposition and the principle of checks and balances are two concepts that are terminologically different, but interrelated and inseparable in Indonesian constitutional practice. Both serve as important instruments in maintaining the balance of power and ensuring accountability in the administration of government. Thus, a proper understanding of the opposition paradigm and the principle of checks and balances is the key to strengthening constitutional democracy in Indonesia.
