The puring plant (Codiaeum variegatum), which has been known as an ornamental plant, apparently has significant therapeutic potential, supported by the presence of secondary metabolites such as flavonoids, tannins, saponins and alkaloids. Various modern studies report the biological activity of croton leaves, including anti-cholesterol, anti-hyperglycemia, antibacterial effects, and their use in biosurfactant formulations. However, studies on how varying extract concentrations influence bioactivity parameters quantitatively are still limited, especially in the context of dose-response relationships involving many biological parameters in one series of research. Therefore, this research was conducted to evaluate eight bioactivity parameters, namely PSM, SSSP, DSSP, SL, RO, SM, PSL, and ANA at croton leaf extract concentrations of 1%, 2%, and 4%. This research uses a laboratory experimental approach by extracting croton leaves through a maceration method using ethanol, then formulated in three concentration levels. Each parameter was analyzed quantitatively to observe the pattern of changes in biological response to variations in the dose administered. The results showed that most of the PSM, SSSP, DSSP, SL, and PSL parameters showed an optimum response at a concentration of 2%, which indicates that there is a most effective dose point before a decrease in activity occurs at the highest concentration. In contrast, several parameters such as RO, SM, and ANA showed a more fluctuating response, even the ANA parameter gave the highest value at a concentration of 4%, indicating that certain activities require higher compound levels to be achieved. In general, the response pattern found was not linear, but instead formed an optimum curve typical of the bioactivity of plant extracts. These findings confirm that determining dosage is very important in the use of croton leaf extract, both for pharmacological purposes and for the formulation of natural ingredient-based products.

This study conceptually analyzes how blockchain technology reshapes the mechanisms of transparency and trust in global Islamic trade from the perspective of Islamic economics. The digitization of financial systems encourages a shift from trust based on social integrity and human relations, which traditionally form the foundation of muamalah practices, to an algorithmic trust model governed by code. In this context, this study examines how core values such as amanah and 'adl can be supported and even strengthened when economic interactions are increasingly mediated by technology. The research approach employs a qualitative-descriptive method, based on a literature review, with Miles and Huberman's analysis used to interpret the data and combine it with the normative principles of Islamic economics, thereby supporting the substance of Sharia. The main findings of this article show that blockchain has significant potential to enhance transparency, efficiency, and accountability through distributed ledgers and smart contracts, aligning with the objectives of maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah. However, despite its ability to reduce informational gharar, this technology also gives rise to new uncertainties that are technical, epistemic, and social in nature. Cases such as the DAO hack and the Terra–Luna failure confirm that technical transparency does not automatically lead to substantive justice. As a contribution, this study offers a Digital-Trust Maqāṣidiyyah framework, which positions blockchain as a means to strengthen Sharia ethics through adaptive contracts, Sharia oracles, decentralized arbitration, digital literacy, and Sharia regulatory sandboxes.

Marriage is principally intended to establish a happy and enduring family. However, in practice at Puncak area of Bogor Regency has seen the growth of contract marriage, a practice that often resembles disguised prostitution and may facilitate the exploitation of women. This research aims to analyze the legal position and validity of contract marriage from the perspectives of islamic law and Indonesian positive law, as well as to explain its legal consequences for women and children. This study employs a normative juridical method through an examination of positive law, legal doctrine, and prior research, and applies both a statute approach and a case approach. The findings indicate that contract marriage is a time limited marriage that contradicts the objective of marital permanence under the Marriage Law. In Islamic law, the practice is equated with mut’ah marriage, which is prohibited, and if conducted it is deemed void by operation of law. Under Indonesian positive law, contract marriage is not recognized, and its agreement does not satisfy the legal requirements for a valid contract under Article 1320 of the Civil Code. As a result, women may lose civil rights such as maintenance, inheritance rights, and entitlements to joint marital property, while Out-of-Marriage Children may have a limited civil relationship only with the mother and the mother’s family. Therefore, contract marriage lacks validity under both Islamic law and Indonesian positive law and may generate legal, social, and moral harms, particularly for women and children.

This study aims to identify the forms of code-mixing present in the speech videos of Vice President Gibran Rakabuming, with the KOMPASTV YouTube channel serving as the data source. This phenomenon is interesting to examine because the use of code-mixing by state officials can influence public perceptions of the use of Indonesian in formal contexts, particularly in official speeches. The study employs a descriptive qualitative approach, using the observation and note method as the data collection technique. Data analysis was conducted through several stages, namely observing, noting, and then presenting as well as describing the forms of code-switching in Vice President Gibran Rakabuming’s speech videos. The results show that the type of code-mixing that occurs is outer code-mixing, characterized by the insertion of English vocabulary. The first video contained 9 instances of code-mixing, the second video 5 instances, the third video 4 instances, the fourth video 15 instances, and the fifth video 9 instances. These findings indicate that code-mixing is a phenomenon within the field of sociolinguistics and is commonly found among bilingual and multilingual communities.

This study aims to describe strategies for Indonesian language development through the use of Instagram, particularly the Story feature, as a medium for introducing Indonesian lexical equivalents. The study is grounded in the increasing use of foreign terms and code-mixing on social media, highlighting the need for language cultivation efforts that align with digital communication habits. A descriptive qualitative method was employed, with data collected from polls, question box responses, and user interaction metrics from the Instagram account @katasetara_. The findings indicate that respondents’ understanding of Indonesian lexical equivalents remains relatively low, as shown by the high percentage of incorrect answers for terms such as caption (57%), typo (56%), and headset (52%). By providing explanations in feed posts, the @katasetara_ account serves as an informative and engaging medium for language cultivation. This study concludes that Instagram holds strong potential as an effective platform for linguistic education when combined with interactive strategies and adherence to standard Indonesian language norms.

This study analyzes the application of sentence enhancement to perpetrators of fraud in the recruitment of civil servants (ASN) and examines the consistency of judicial reasoning in Decision No. 1175/Pid.B/2024/PN Mks. The research focuses on two main issues: the fulfillment of the requirements for sentence enhancement under Articles 52 and 486–488 of the Indonesian Criminal Code (KUHP), and the alignment of the judge’s considerations with the principles of criminal sentencing. Using a normative juridical method and employing statutory, case, and conceptual approaches, this research finds that the application of Article 378 KUHP was appropriate, as the elements of deception were proven. However, sentence enhancement under Articles 52 and 486–488 KUHP was not applied due to the absence of a functional connection between the perpetrator’s status as an ASN and the offense, as well as the failure to meet the formal requirements of recidivism. Although the decision is legally defensible in a formal sense, it lacks substantive completeness in addressing moral and sociological considerations. The perpetrator’s ASN status and prior conviction should reasonably serve as aggravating factors. The study concludes that while the decision is normatively consistent, it falls short of achieving substantive justice, particularly regarding public protection and the integrity of the civil service.

Abortion is prohibited under the Indonesian criminal law system. In fact, it is categorized as a crime against life, regulated by several laws and regulations, including the Criminal Code and the Health Law. Indonesian criminal law defines abortion as "Termination of Pregnancy," which is regulated by Articles 299, 346, 347, 348, and 349 of the Criminal Code. These articles clearly and unequivocally prohibit abortion for any reason, including abortion for emergency (forced) reasons, such as rape. This type of research is normative legal research (normative legal research method). The normative legal research method is a library legal research conducted by examining legal literature materials such as Legislation, Judge's Decisions, Books, Journals, Theses and Legal Dictionaries. The results of the study indicate that (1) The Judge imposed a sentence of 2 (two) years. This seems light and unfair because the defendant's actions should have been given a heavier sentence as stated in the case that the defendant had committed his crimes seven times. (2) The judge's considerations in imposing criminal sanctions in Decision Number 1224/Pid.Sus/PN.Mks, concluded that the judge's decision to sentence the defendant to two years in prison was lenient and did not reflect the sense of justice that should have been upheld. This was because the defendant's actions were classified as a serious crime that had a widespread moral and social impact on society.

This study examines the phenomenon of code-mixing among Generation Z in Banjarmasin, particularly in The comments section of TikTok content, which has become a primary digital expression space for young People. The aim of this study was to identify the forms, patterns, and social and cultural factors underlying This linguistic practice. Using descriptive qualitative methods with listening and note-taking techniques, Information was collected from comments on two TikTok posts on the accounts @BudRab and @Fazarbungaz. The findings indicate that the code-mixing that occurred was dominated by the insertion Of Banjarese elements into Indonesian (Banjar-Indonesian code-mixing), as well as a mixture of Banjarese, Indonesian, and English (Outer Code-mixing and Mixed Code-mixing). The forms of code-mixing found Included the insertion of Banjarese words, phrases, and lexical items such as kd (kada), makai, and mun. An analysis of the functions of code-mixing shows that this practice has a dual role: referential (for specific Local contexts), directive (to guide conversations), emotive/expressive (to indicate emotional closeness, for Example, longitude), and most importantly, as a marker of digital identity and cultural solidarity among Banjar speakers in the digital realm. This phenomenon confirms that social media serves as a new, flexible and essential space for the Banjar language to survive and negotiate with global and national languages. This study contributes to sociolinguistics by mapping the dynamics of language evolution among Gen Z in A digital context, highlighting the creative and social aspects of code-mixing.

The Marketing Mix strategy is a combination of various marketing elements that include product, price, distribution place, and promotion. The Marketing Mix strategy, also known as the marketing mix is a concept in marketing that explains four main elements that must be managed in an integrated manner to achieve marketing objectives. In general practice, the using of QRIS is a payment standard using a QR code developed by Bank Indonesia and the Indonesian Payment System Association to simplify and accelerate digital transactions. Through VOSviewer analysis, the implementation of QRIS can have a positive impact on the operations and business performance of MSMEs, and the marketing mix strategy in the context of business digitalization becomes an important approach to maintaining MSME competitiveness. The results of the VOSviewer visual map analysis and the review of previous State of the Art research indicate that most existing studies still focus on aspects of QRIS adoption and transaction efficiency alone. These studies generally highlight how digital payment system is able to  improve the speed, security, and convenience of transactions but have not yet widely linked them directly to marketing mix strategies and consumer purchasing decisions. This indicates a research gap in understanding the role of QRIS is not only as a transaction tool but also as part of the marketing strategy that influences consumer behaviour.

The growth of digital transactions has made it easier for people to buy goods or services, including concert tickets. However, this convenience also increases the risk of fraud, especially through social media. The case of Golden Disc Award (GDA) 2024 ticket fraud on Twitter shows a systematic modus operandi, such as the use of fake accounts and identities, suspiciously cheap ticket prices, and the transfer of communication to private platforms. Victims suffer material and psychological losses, while perpetrators often disappear after receiving payment. Legally, these actions violate Article 378 of the Criminal Code, the Electronic Information and Transactions Law, and consumer rights as stipulated in the Consumer Protection Law (UUPK). This study emphasizes the importance of consumer protection in digital transactions, strengthening regulations, and improving public digital literacy to prevent fraudulent practices. Collaboration between the government, law enforcement agencies, concert organizers, digital platforms, and consumers is key to improving the security of online transactions.

Marriage agreements frequently give rise to juridical issues when intersecting with inheritance law, particularly within the context of second marriages. This study is based on an inheritance dispute examined in the Palangka Raya District Court Decision Number 21/Pdt.G/2022/PN.Plk, wherein the second wife argued the existence of a marriage agreement to annul the inheritance rights of children from the previous marriage. Using a normative juridical method with statutory and case approaches, this research evaluates the agreement’s validity against formal registration requirements and freedom of contract limitations. The findings indicate that the marriage agreement invoked by the defendant was declared invalid and lacked binding legal force due to noncompliance with the formal registration requirements under Article 29 of the Marriage Law and the inclusion of clauses contrary to inheritance provisions in the Civil Code, particularly concerning the rights of children as lawful heirs. Consequently, the disputed property was classified as marital property to be distributed among all heirs in accordance with applicable law. This study affirms that freedom of contract in marriage agreements is limited and cannot override legal protection of legitimate heirs.

The reform of criminal investigation procedures has become a crucial aspect of Indonesia’s criminal justice system renewal, particularly following the enactment of the new Criminal Code, which introduces significant shifts regarding the rights of suspects, investigative authority, and the implementation of due process of law. In an era of rapid digital development, investigative practices must also incorporate the principles of good governance and human rights protection to ensure that state authority is exercised proportionally. This study aims to analyze the relevance of the principles of good governance in modern investigative processes, assess the adequacy of due process guarantees under the current Code of Criminal Procedureand the new Criminal Code, and identify practical challenges in application. Using a normative legal research method through statutory, conceptual, and comparative approaches, the study finds that criminal investigations in Indonesia continue to face issues such as normative inconsistency, regulatory disharmony, and weak accountability mechanisms. The integration of the principles of good governance has the potential to strengthen the quality and fairness of investigations, yet requires clearer normative foundations and consistent implementation. Moreover, the new Criminal Code does not fully resolve harmonization issues with Code of Criminal Procedure, making procedural reform an urgent necessity. The findings contribute to the enhancement of suspect protection, professionalism among investigators, and the overall improvement of Indonesia’s criminal justice system.

This study investigates how Bahasa Medan, a distinctive regional dialect from North Sumatra, is used, transformed, and sustained within the digital environment of TikTok. Drawing on Hymes’ (1972) theory of the speech community and supported by sociolinguistic frameworks from Gumperz (1982), Holmes (2013), Bell (1984), and Bucholtz and Hall (2005), the research explores how Medanese youth employ their dialect across multimodal forms of communication—spoken performances, textual captions, and interactive comment exchanges. Using qualitative descriptive methods, the study examines content from selected TikTok creators who integrate Bahasa Medan into their videos to express humor, identity, and solidarity. The findings reveal that TikTok functions as a digital speech community where dialectal expressions such as palak, sor, beserak, slek, berondok, and merajok serve as linguistic markers of belonging and cultural pride. Furthermore, users exhibit strategic code-switching among Bahasa Medan, standard Indonesian, and English to balance local authenticity with global participation. These interactions demonstrate how linguistic creativity, humor, and social engagement enable regional dialects to thrive in transnational digital spaces. The research ultimately shows that Bahasa Medan on TikTok is not merely a form of entertainment but a dynamic expression of identity, cultural continuity, and community in the era of globalized media.

This study aims to explain and reconstruct the notion of auditor professionalism beyond the reasoning framework found in the accountants’ code of ethics. The reconstruction is carried out by redefining auditor professionalism through the integration of moral reasoning and the values derived from QS. Al-Isra (36), as a response to the issue of fraud disclosure. The research adopts a non-technical perspective on auditor professionalism. Accordingly, the appropriate method for this study is Theoretical Triangulation, namely testing auditor professionalism from the perspective of moral reasoning and QS. Al-Isra (36). Specifically, the research begins by utilizing three sources of values: the Handbook of the Code of Ethics for Professional Accountants, principles of moral reasoning, and the guidance in QS. Al-Isra (36). Second, the study identifies the limitations of conventional interpretations of auditor professionalism when examined solely from ethical codes, and further analyzes how moral reasoning and QS. Al-Isra (36) enrich this perspective. Third, the concept of auditor professionalism is reconstructed in a holistic manner. Finally, the study concludes whether moral reasoning and QS. Al-Isra (36) are interrelated with the auditors’ professionalism in uncovering fraud. Ultimately, this article proposes a revised conception of auditor professionalism. By incorporating moral reasoning and QS. Al-Isra (36), auditor professionalism is envisioned as transcending rationalism and materialism. It is defined as a commitment to uphold the accountants’ code of ethics, grounded in justice and virtue, with an awareness that every action will be held accountable in the hereafter.

The enforcement of ethical codes within the civil service is a fundamental pillar for maintaining public trust and bureaucratic integrity. However, the implementation of disciplinary sanctions for Civil Servants (Aparatur Sipil Negara or ASN) in Indonesia currently faces significant challenges regarding fairness and consistency. (Problem) The core issue lies in the broad administrative discretion possessed by investigators (Tim Pemeriksa) under Government Regulation No. 94 of 2021, which often leads to subjective, legalistic, and disproportionate sanctioning without considering substantive justice. This study aims to analyze the weaknesses of the current sanction implementation mechanism and proposes a reconstruction of the investigators' authority based on the value of justice (Nilai Keadilan). Using a normative juridical approach and conceptual analysis, this research examines current regulations and compares them with the principles of Dignified Justice. The study finds that the current positivistic approach tends to ignore the human aspect and restorative potential of the sanctions. Consequently, a reconstructed model is proposed where investigators must integrate ethical deliberation and justice values into their examination process, ensuring sanctions are not merely punitive but also corrective and fair.

The advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology has generated significant benefits while simultaneously creating new opportunities for cyber-based sexual offenses, particularly through deepfake technology, which enables the manipulation of a person's face into pornographic content without consent. This study examines criminal liability for perpetrators of AI-based sexual harassment and legal protection for victims in deepfake pornography cases, focusing on a case involving a student at Udayana University, Bali. This research employs a normative legal method by analyzing primary, secondary, and tertiary legal materials. The findings indicate that although Indonesian law does not yet explicitly regulate deepfake technology, perpetrators can still be prosecuted under the Electronic Information and Transactions Law, Pornography Law, Sexual Violence Law, and the new Criminal Code. Criminal intent is established through the deliberate manipulation, creation, and dissemination of non- consensual sexual content. Furthermore, victims are entitled to legal protection, including psychological recovery, privacy rights, restitution, and content removal. This study highlights the urgency of developing specific regulations addressing AI-related sexual crimes, enhancing forensic digital capabilities, and strengthening victim-centered protection mechanisms. The research contributes to the legal discourse on emerging digital crimes and emphasizes the need for adaptive legal frameworks in the AI era.

Shipping safety is an essential prerequisite in global and domestic maritime operations. However, ship accident incidents remain an annual vulnerability, often caused by suboptimal safety systems. This study aims to analyze the partial effects of the Implementation of the International Safety Management (ISM) Code (X1), the Implementation of Shipping Navigation Aids (SBNP) (X2), Master's Responsibility (X3), and Crewing (X4) on Shipping Safety (Y) at Gresik Public Port, East Jawa. The method used is descriptive and quantitative analysis with multiple linear regression. The research population consists of ship crew members at Gresik Port, with a sample of 100 respondents selected through the Quota Sampling technique. The results of the regression analysis show the equation Y = -1.480 + 0.293X1 + 0.314X2 + 0.187X3 + 0.311X4 + \mu. The partial hypothesis test (t-test) confirms that all independent variables have a positive and significant effect on Shipping Safety. The most dominant variable influencing Shipping Safety is SBNP Implementation (X2) with a coefficient of 0.314, followed closely by Crewing (X4) with a coefficient of 0.311. The Coefficient of Determination (R^2) is 0.685, indicating that 68.5% of the variation in Shipping Safety is influenced by these four variables. These findings underscore the importance of investing in technology-based navigation infrastructure and enhancing the competence of maritime human resources in high-traffic operational areas.
