The Qur'an as the final revelation revealed by Allah SWT has a very central role in shaping the teachings and lives of Muslims. One of the most important aspects of the teachings of the Qur'an is the unity of the people, which can be a foundation in maintaining harmony and solidarity amidst existing differences. The virtues contained in the Qur'an, such as teachings on justice, tolerance, brotherhood, and compassion, provide clear direction for Muslims to unite and work together for the common good. However, amid the diversity of schools of thought, ethnicities, and thoughts in Muslims, it is important to re-explore the basic principles of the Qur'an that can strengthen relations between fellow Muslims. This study aims to explore the virtues of the Qur'an that can be the foundation of teachings that unite Muslims. This study also seeks to understand how these values are applied in the context of the social and cultural life of Muslims, both in the past and in the contemporary era. The method used in this study is a qualitative method, with a thematic interpretation approach to analyze the verses of the Qur'an related to the unity of the people, as well as a study of the hadith to explore the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad SAW regarding the unity of the Muslim community. In addition, this study also uses a historical and socio-cultural approach to understand the application of the teachings of the Qur'an in Muslim society from time to time. The results of the study show that the virtues of the Qur'an, such as teachings on brotherhood, justice, and tolerance, have a very important role in strengthening the unity of Muslims, even though there are differences in terms of schools of thought, culture, and views. The Qur'an provides clear guidelines that differences are not a reason to divide, but rather a blessing that enriches the diversity of Muslims. By exploring and applying the teachings of the Qur'an, Muslims are expected to be able to better maintain unity and harmony in facing the challenges of the increasingly plural and complex modern era.

This paper studies the microeconomic theories of Abu Ubayd and Al-Syaibani. Although these two figures have different views on how to deal with economic problems, especially microeconomics, both have the same goal of wanting to improve the welfare of the people and get the pleasure of Allah SWT. The writing of Abu Ubayd and Al-Syaibani's microeconomic theory aims to show the public that the differences of opinion of Islamic economic thinkers are a good attitude because it is part of science and can be applied in real life. This journal uses a qualitative approach. The type of research conducted is library research. Library research is a type of research in which all data comes from written materials such as books, manuscripts, journals, and related documents. Abu Ubayd argues that international trade that is too free, namely by imposing zero tariff fees, will hinder the country's economic growth because in Islam there is no concept of free trade (even though the imported goods are purchased goods). As-Syaibani's economic thinking is used to build employment or entrepreneurship today, where many MSMEs are productive and become indicators of the nation's economy.

This journal highlights that Daud shows an example that can be learned from various aspects of his leadership. Daud, as a God-fearing leader, placed God at the center of all his actions. He showed that loyalty and ability were more important than blood relations, and prioritized God's will in choosing leaders. Daud is also a leader who wants to listen, both the voice of God and the aspirations of his subordinates. He was an aspirational leader, stepping down from his throne to listen to the complaints and suggestions of the people. Daud also knew his messenger, the Lord, and knew and understood his people. He always asks God in every action, and does not act arbitrarily according to his own will.

The humanity and sinlessness of Jesus Christ in carrying out His mission in the world, has always been an interesting theme and invites debate, both among theologians and secularists. Human weakness in understanding and accepting the fact of the dual nature of Jesus Christ, presents various skeptical views, rejections and refutations, including suspicion and doubt that in carrying out His mission, Jesus did not act in His sinless human nature, but in His holy divine nature. However, whatever the forms of rejection, suspicion and debate against that view, the truth of God's Word is accurate evidence and at the same time an answer. This study aims to test the truth that during His mission in the world, Jesus was a true sinless human being, using a method using a qualitative approach using secondary techniques through literature studies. The humanity and sinlessness of Jesus Christ in carrying out His mission in the world has always been an interesting theme and has invited debate, both among theologians and secularists. Human weakness in understanding and accepting the fact of the dual nature of Jesus Christ, presents various views of skepticism, rejection and refutation, not least the suspicion and doubt that in carrying out His mission, Jesus did not act in His sinless human nature, but in His holy divine nature. However, whatever the forms of rejection, suspicion and debate regarding this view, the truth of God's Word is accurate evidence and at the same time the answer that Jesus' human nature is real and during the mission of His redemptive work Jesus acted with His sinless human nature. The results of the study concluded that Jesus' humanity was real, and during his redemptive mission, Jesus acted with a sinless humanity. This study confirms that even though Jesus experienced a full human life, including suffering and weakness, He still lived without sin and without moral fault. This is an important belief in Christian theology that emphasizes that Jesus' humanity does not diminish His purity and holiness in carrying out his redemptive mission for humanity.

Knowledge plays a central role in Islamic teachings, both as a means to achieve worldly success and salvation in the afterlife. This study aims to examine the virtue of knowledge as the key to worldly and afterlife success based on the perspective of the Qur'an and hadith. The method used is a literature review with a thematic interpretation approach and hadith analysis to examine the verses of the Qur'an and hadiths related to knowledge. The results of the study show that the Qur'an and hadith firmly place knowledge in a very high position, with knowledge being the main factor that elevates human status, both in the world and in the afterlife. In Surah Al-Mujadilah verse 11, Allah SWT states that He will elevate the status of those who have knowledge, while the hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad SAW emphasize that knowledge is the path to heaven and good deeds whose rewards continue to flow. Knowledge not only leads to worldly achievements such as social, economic, and technological progress, but also becomes the main foundation for carrying out worship properly and obtaining happiness in the afterlife.

Self-confidence is an important element in achieving success and happiness, and has a significant positive relationship with motivation to learn. However, many individuals face challenges in building their self-confidence due to social pressure and negative experiences. In this context, this study explores sources of motivation from a Quranic perspective, specifically through Surah At-Thaha verses 25-28, which describe Prophet Moses' plea to Allah for peace and ease in facing life's challenges. Tafsir Al-Misbah by Quraish Shihab provides the insight that self-confidence should be built on faith in Allah and recognition of one's potential. This study also highlights the importance of social support, appreciation, and a supportive environment in building self-confidence. Using a qualitative approach and literature review, the results show that self-confidence can be strengthened through spiritual connection, internal reinforcement, and recognition of personal weaknesses, which ultimately encourages individuals to express themselves and reach their full potential. This research is expected to inspire readers to apply Quranic values in their daily lives, in order to increase self-confidence and freedom of expression.

This article was written with the aim of identifying spiritual leaders in the development of Islamic education. This research uses a certain type of library research. Reviewing various periodicals and relevant reference volumes is known as library research. The research findings show that spiritual leadership is a strategy to persuade other people to carry out activities in accordance with the ideals and principles taught by the Prophet Muhammad SAW to achieve a certain goal. Spiritual leadership is the process of persuading others to take beneficial actions to achieve certain goals. The Prophet Muhammad is considered an influence in Islam because of his leadership style. Loyalty is one of the main characteristics that characterizes spiritual leadership. In this context, loyalty shows that both leaders and followers must obey Allah SWT in terms of goals, uphold Islamic law and values, maintain integrity, be disciplined, be consistent, and not be arrogant. In Islamic educational institutions, spiritual leadership is implemented through instilling ideals that are focused on both life in this world and the afterlife. To fulfill their responsibilities, madrasah principals and teachers must do more than fulfill their administrative and instructional duties; they must also serve Allah SWT. By emulating the leadership qualities exemplified by the Prophet Muhammad SAW, such as effective communication between the head of the madrasah and its members, the head of the madrasah as a motivator, fairness, honesty, trustworthiness, deliberation, and applying the principles of discipline, madrasahs can also implement spiritual leadership.

This study examines the implementation of sakinah (tranquilty) family development at the religious affairs office (KUA) of Medan Denai subdistrict, North Sumatera Utara, Indonesia, trough the Qur'anic perspective of Surah Ar-Rum verse 21 as interpreted in Tafsir Al-Misbah by M. Quraish Shihab. The verse elucidates one of Allah's signs in creating spouses from among humankind to attain tranquility (sakinah), affection (mawaddah), and mercy (rahmah) within marital bonds. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with religious counselors and newlywed couples, and documentation analysis of premarital counseling programs at KUA Medan Denai. Findings reveal that the office has integrated the triadic values of sakinah, mawaddah, and rahmah into its premarital guidance modules grounded in contextual Qur'anic interpretation. However, post-marital follow-up remains limited, affecting sustainability. Tafsir Al-Misbah provides a robust conceptual framework by interpreting sakinah as spiritual serenity rooted in faith, mawaddah as active emotional commitment, and rahmah as divine compassion manifested in daily family interactions. The study concludes that optimizing sakinah family development requires strengthening thematic Qur'anic-based counseling modules and establishing continuous post-nuptial mentoring to foster families that are spiritually grounded, emotionally resilient, and socially responsible. This research contributes to the discourse on integrating classical Qur'anic exegesis with contemporary family counseling practices in Indonesia's religious bureaucracy.

This research examines the Asbābun Nuzūl of verse 174 of Surah Al-Baqarah and its relationship with faith in Allah as the Creator of the heavens and the earth. This verse contains a strong warning against those who conceal Allah’s revelations and exchange divine truth for worldly gain. Using a qualitative approach based on library research, this study analyzes the historical background of the revelation, its socio-religious context, and interpretations from classical and contemporary Qur’anic scholars. The findings indicate that the Asbābun Nuzūl of verse 174 is closely related to the behavior of certain People of the Book who deliberately hid the truth about the prophethood of Muhammad ﷺ for personal interests. Such actions reflect a weak acknowledgment of Allah’s absolute authority as the Creator and Sustainer of the universe. The connection between this verse and Allah as the Creator of the heavens and the earth emphasizes that all knowledge, revelation, and truth originate solely from Him and must not be manipulated for material benefit. This research is expected to strengthen Islamic theological understanding regarding the obligation to convey truth honestly and to reinforce faith in Allah as the ultimate source of creation, guidance, and moral responsibility.

This study examines the asbab al-nuzul of Qur’an Surah Al-Baqarah verse 158 and its relationship with the practice of sa’i in Hajj and Umrah as an expression of gratitude for Allah’s blessings. This verse was revealed to address the doubts of some Companions regarding the legitimacy of sa’i between Safa and Marwah, which during the pre-Islamic era had been associated with idolatrous practices. Using a library research method and exegetical analysis, this study demonstrates that Surah Al-Baqarah verse 158 affirms Safa and Marwah as part of the symbols (sha‘a’ir) of Allah that must be honored and performed within the rites of Hajj and Umrah. The practice of sa’i is not merely a ritual obligation but also embodies profound historical, spiritual, and educational values rooted in the story of Hajar’s struggle in seeking water for Prophet Ismail. Values of patience, effort, reliance on Allah, and gratitude are reflected in every step of sa’i. Understanding the asbab al-nuzul of this verse is expected to encourage Muslims to perform Hajj and Umrah with deeper awareness, sincerity, and meaning, so that worship transcends formal ritual and contributes to character building and the strengthening of faith.

Da'wah is an activity that aims to invite people to the path of truth and guidance from Allah SWT, carried out orally or in writing with the spirit of calling and guiding the people. As an integral part of Islamic teachings, this da'wah requires not only sincerity but also good management so that its implementation is effective, structured, and relevant to the development of the times. In this case, management becomes an important element that includes planning, implementing, and evaluating religious programs. The values contained in this management can be reflected in the Qur'an, such as strategy, trustworthy leadership, and a wise approach, emphasizing the importance of integration between da'wah and management. Management is interpreted as an-nizam or at-tanzim, which is a regulatory system that puts everything in its place. The relationship between management and da'wah is synergistic, where da'wah requires a management program and communication media to reach the community effectively and innovatively. A da'i, in this context, also has a very imaudience’s important role, namely as a manager who must understand the audience's characteristics and design the right da'wah strategy. Therefore, the integration of management in da'wah activities is one of the essential needs in building a systematic and competitive da'wah movement amidst modern social dynamics.

Euthanasia, or "good death," is a controversial practice and has sparked debate in many parts of the world. In a medical context, euthanasia refers to the act of ending a person's life to reduce suffering due to terminal illness or incurable medical conditions. In Indonesia, where the majority of the population is Muslim, this issue has become very relevant to the view of Islamic law which emphasizes the importance of preserving life as a gift from Allah. According to this view, euthanasia is contrary to the basic principles of Islam that value life and affirm that only Allah has the right to determine a person's death. On the other hand, the medical code of ethics puts forward the principles of non-maleficence (no harm) and beneficence (doing good), but in terminal cases, this leads to ethical dilemmas in cases where ending the patient's life is considered a way to reduce suffering. The practice also presents challenges in terms of patient autonomy and the obligation of doctors to respect their decisions. In this context, this study aims to explore euthanasia from the perspective of Islamic law and medical ethics, as well as analyze the relationship between these two aspects in the context of Indonesian society and culture, as well as the practical challenges faced by doctors and patients in dealing with this issue.
