Sanoi Village and Ronggaiwa Beach are villages that are located in Waropen District and are part of the province of Papua. Along the Sanoi Village Road and Ronggaiwa Beach is a road that runs along the coastline and is an accessibility route between villages and the logistics of maritime transportation which is an economic route of the Waropen District Government so abrasion handling must be carried out immediately. The study examines the extensive calculations and advance backward coastline and also the exploitation of the local wisdom of the community as an abrasion countermeasures.The research methods used to the objectives of the study are quantitative descriptive methods, spatial analysis, time series analysis and analysis of local intelligence indicators. Quantitative deskriptive analysis is by displaying field images and presenting width changes in coastlines and coastline backward velocities throughout 2012, until 2022. Spatial analyses using ArcGIS software and field observations. Time series analysis to observe the changes in the width and backward speed of coasts by looking at the 2012 image, up to 2022. Local intelligence indikator analysis is an analysis that identifies the local abilities that communities use in performing abrasion backwardness. The results of the research showed that there was a wide change of coastline and the rate of reversal of the coastal line along the year 2012 to 2022, in which four years once counted the area of blood abrasion and the speed of retrocession of coastal lines. Based on the results of observations found that the change in coastalline occurred due to the magnitude of abrasions that occurred in Sanoi Village and Ronggaiwa Beach. However, with the knowledge of local wisdom that the community possesses, it can prevent and control abrasion by using the environment to form the traditional talud that is often referred to as the local community with the name Talud Rufia.

The service was done in Ngaglik and Pancuran villages, Gondangrejo, Karanganyar, Central Java. These areas have the potential to produce mats with semi traditional method. Most of the villagers are the mats’ weavers and worker of the weavers. The village has a potential in developing the craft of mats. The main problem from the craftsmen are the management, the production process is less than optimal, no efficiency in production process and the management of the marketing. In this service, many activities are held such as training in management and creativity, displaying of the technology’s application, and marketing technique for the product. The result of this service with Ibm are the optimal production process and the handling of the marketing.Keywords: Mats, productivity, craftsmen, production

This study aims to find out how the implementation of the traditional traditions of noble marriages in Rubit Village and the perspective of the Catholic religion on noble marriages. This research method was carried out with a qualitative descriptive approach. The data sources used are primary data sources and secondary data sources. The informants involved in this research were the traditional leaders of Rubit Village, community leaders and the parish priest of the Holy Cross of Koangrotat. Data collection techniques used are observation techniques, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data collection, data reduction, drawing conclusions and verification. The research results obtained are that noble marriage is the most respected marriage because it contains the most noble and sacred values ​​to maintain human dignity. So that noble marriage is processed in an open, orderly and respectable manner and is planned based on the perspective of custom and religion. The perspective of the Catholic religion on noble marriages is that marriages are considered sacred because in noble marriages the rite of opening the veil is performed which is a symbol that the couple has not lived together.

Abstrak : Jurnal Kajian Ilmu seni, Media dan Desain 2024 Asosiasi Seni Desain dan Komunikasi Visual Indonesia

This study aims to identify and describe differences in the achievement of Dance learning among students at SMP Negeri 1 Batang Kapas, especially in the material of traditional Indonesian dance movements. This research uses a quantitative approach with Quasi-experiment method. The main instruments used to collect data were pretest and posttest. In this study, the population consisted of 174 students, with a sample consisting of class VII 3 as an experimental class that received treatment, and class VII 5 as a control class without treatment. The results of hypothesis testing showed that the use of images and video media had a significant impact on students' learning outcomes. With a significance level of 0.05, the calculated t value is -23.31, while the t table value is 1.669. Because t count is smaller than t table, it can be concluded that picture and video media are effective in improving students' learning outcomes.

Community Empowerment Institutions are village government development partners to create prosperity for village communities. This task is stated in the Minister of Home Affairs Regulation Number 18 of 2018 concerning Village Community Institutions and Village Traditional Institutions, Article 7 Paragraph 5. However, what has happened is that the implementation of this policy has not been carried out well, as evidenced by the phenomenon of the community not understanding the duties of Community Empowerment Institutions which ultimately results in misappropriation of duties that are not in accordance with the guidelines. The aim of this research is to determine the implementation of Minister of Home Affairs Regulation Number 18 of 2018 Article 7 Paragraph 5. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method by collecting data through interviews and documentation. Determining informants used snowball sampling with five informants and data analysis using the Miles & Huberman model. This research resulted in the non-implementation of Minister of Home Affairs Regulation Number 18 of 2018 regarding the duties of Community Empowerment Institutions, as evidenced by the implementer's understanding of policies, quality of human resources, socio-economic and political conditions, communication and coordination, institutional characteristics, and non-compliance of Minister of Home Affairs Regulations with Regional Regulations.

There are still many salted fish producers or sellers who misuse formalin to preserve salted fish. Because of its easy availability and can extend shelf life, this chemical is often misused as a food preservative, and its carcinogenic nature the use of formalin in food can have a negative impact on health. Various efforts and previous studies have been carried out to deformalize and reduce formalin levels in food, one of which is through the use of table vinegar in reducing the formalin content of Salted Sepat Fish. The study aims to determine the effect of soaking in vinegar solution to reduce the formalin content in Salted Sepat Fish and determine the concentration of vinegar solution that is effective in reducing formalin levels in Salted Sepat Fish. The study was conducted as a true experimental research with Pre and Post Test Control Group research design. Samples of Salted Sepat Fish used in this study were obtained from several traditional markets in Pontianak City (Flamboyan Market, Tengah Market, Dahlia Market, Teratai Market and Kemuning Market). The results showed that there was a decrease the concentration of formalin after soaking with 25% dining vinegar solution at 6%, 8% and 10% concentration variations with a percentage decrease of 23.32%; 50.77% and 68.21% respectively. The solution of table vinegar with a concentration of 8% was the most effective in reducing formalin levels in Salted Sepat Fish.

Islamic boarding schools, as traditional Islamic educational institutions, have an important role in forming the character, morals and faith of the younger generation in Indonesia. In facing the demands of increasingly modern times, marketing management has become an integral part of the sustainability and development of Islamic boarding schools. This article discusses the importance of marketing management in the context of Islamic boarding schools, as well as the changes and challenges faced in finding a balance between tradition and modernity. Islamic boarding school marketing management involves identifying the target audience, developing an image and brand, utilizing technology, and measuring and evaluating results. Islamic boarding schools must understand who their potential students are, build a positive image, utilize technology, and measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts. The main challenge is to maintain traditional values ​​while opening up to elements of modernity. This can be achieved with technology integration, a unified approach, and partnerships with the business world. Proper marketing management allows Islamic boarding schools to remain relevant in educating the younger generation who are religiously and morally strong while remaining competitive in an increasingly modern world.Thus, marketing management in Islamic boarding schools is key to maintaining and enhancing their role in society, helping them move from tradition to modernity with success.

Training on handling corpses according to Islamic law is an in-depth activity in a religious and humanitarian context. This article discusses the importance of this training in understanding, respecting and carrying out funeral arrangements in accordance with Islamic teachings. This training provides the basic knowledge, practical skills, and cultural and ethical understanding needed to carry out the task of handling corpses properly. In addition, this article highlights the important benefits of Student Creativity Program (PKM) activities in expanding religious understanding, increasing respect for religious values, and empowering communities to play an active role in funeral services in accordance with Islamic guidelines. Through these efforts, we can create a society that is more aware of their religious practices, respects traditions, and applies Islamic teachings with full respect in the care of corpses.

The Eyang Djoego Heritage Carnival tradition is a cultural activity that takes the form of tradition and is carried out every year. The heritage carnival activity was carried out by the community in Jugo Village, Kesamben District, Blitar Regency. This tradition is carried out every year on Legi Sunday in the month of Sela, this is the calculation of dates and months in Javanese tradition. The implementation of the Eyang Djoego Heritage Carnival Tradition is a form of respect for the village ancestor named Eyang Djoego and as a form of community gratitude because with his services he was able to make the residents of Jugo Village live prosperously and have enough because the harvest was so abundant. The focus of this research discusses the origins, procedures, what ubarampe is and the meaning of ubarampe, as well as the function of this traditional activity. This research uses the half-lisa folklore theory of James Danandjadja. The research design used is a qualitative descriptive method, the data sources used in the research are primary and secondary as well as oral and non-verbal data. The results of research from the Eyang Djoego Heritage Carnival Tradition produce meanings that are related to culture. This research discusses the origins of the heritage carnival tradition which originated and developed in Jugo Village. These traditional activities are also enlivened and supported by the people in Jugo Village.

Jathil Obyog is a semi-oral folklore that is undergoing a process of change at this time. The purpose of this research is to find out the changes in Jathil Obyog in Reyog Obyog in Ponorogo City. This research is a qualitative research. There are three parts in this research, namely, the beginning of Jathil Obyog art in Ponorogo City, the change of Jathil Obyog art form in Ponorogo City, and the impact of Jathil Obyog art changes on the community. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. The data was obtained from interviews, observations and literature studies about Reyog Obyog. Data in the form of words and photos. The data is then analyzed through an intensive implementation process that is through a descriptive narrative which is then arranged in such a way and then produces the results of an in-depth analysis. The results of this research show that Jathil Obyog in the Reyog Obyog performance is a traditional performance art that comes from East Java, Indonesia and has gumathok elements. Jathil Obyog changed his mind. Starting from Dance Movements, Events, Makeup and Hair, Dance Properties, as well as Songs and Dances. For the general public, the intensity of Pagelaran Reyog Obyog is increasing, the public's interest in the art of Jathil Obyog is increasing, content creators are developing, and can develop and advance the UMKMe of the community. The intensity of the Reyog Obyog performance has a direct impact on the interests of the community.

The research results show that Tari Rampak Sapinggan is one of the Creative Dances developed based on the basic movements of dance and Minang silek movements Tari Rampak Sapinggan is a non-representational dance, which means it does not depict anything Tari Rampak Sapinggan has a sequence of movements that starts from: sambah movement, tapuak galembong, ayun babuai, maarak or manjapuik, sanduak mancukam, lenggok baayun, baganjua maju, bajombo-jombo, basiang tagak, kibeh, baganjua suruik batanam, salingkuang korong, mambori sambah The number of dancers is 5 or odd, the floor pattern uses straight and curved lines The accompanying music uses traditional Minangkabau music such as Gandang, Talempong, and Sarunai Makeup uses beautiful makeup for women and handsome makeup for men Men's costumes wear rang mudo shirts, destar, galembong, and sasampiang, while women wear kurung clothes, songket skirts.

Hybrid learning, an educational approach that amalgamates traditional face-to-face instruction with technological tools, has emerged as a pivotal strategy in higher education. Contemporary pedagogical theories such as constructivism, active learning, and humanistic approaches play integral roles in shaping hybrid learning frameworks. The integration of technology within educational settings fosters a comprehensive and student-centric learning environment. Proficiency in learning design principles, motivation theories, and online learning paradigms is imperative for comprehending the intricacies of hybrid learning methodologies. This study adopts a qualitative descriptive methodology to explore students' comprehension of hybrid learning within higher education contexts. The participants of this study are first-semester English students enrolled at Widya Karya Catholic University. The research aims to offer valuable insights into pedagogical discourse and the implementation of hybrid learning strategies within higher education institutions. By shedding light on students' perspectives and experiences, this research endeavors to contribute significantly to the advancement of pedagogical practices and the refinement of hybrid learning methodologies in higher education settings.

The aim of this community service is to help students through elementary school physical education teachers to introduce traditional games and reduce children's habit of playing online games and help increase creativity by using materials available around them. This community service is carried out because of several problems such as (1) the lack of children who know traditional games so that their daily lives are filled with playing online games (2) social weaknesses that occur in the home environment, including playing on cellphones when spoken to, or being busy with gadget even though there is a friend beside him or he is sitting with family members. The implementation of this activity took place in the city of Jayapura. The stages of implementing this service activity are (1) problem identification (2) needs analysis; (3) designing coaching and mentoring; (4) carrying out mentoring; (5) monitoring and observing activity results; and (6) reporting and follow-up. The methods of community service are lectures, demonstrations and training. The results of this PKM which were carried out were seen from the questionnaires that were distributed, of the 20 participants who said they were good, 16 participants and 4 participants were very good.

Teenagers, especially in West Sumatra, do not know about kerambit as a traditional weapon originating from West Sumatra. Even though the kerambit itself was used by the US army as a military weapon, its origins were not really known by the West Sumatran teenagers themselves. This is the result of teenagers' lack of curiosity about history and a lack of media that can attract their attention. The aim of designing this 2D animation is to foster teenagers' interest in studying history with new media and provide education about kerambit and its history through 2D animation media by utilizing social media as promotional media. The method used in this design is the 4D method, which consists of define, design, develop and disseminate. Using the 5W+1H data analysis method. This design produces main media in the form of 2D animated videos, and supporting media in the form of t-shirts, printed posters, stickers, social media content, Acrylic stands, and x-banners.

In spite of the progress made toward gender equality, women are still subject to harassment on the basis of the traditional gender roles in today's society. This research is intended to analyze the depiction or representation of women in literary work in order to reveal misogyny lurking in the text. The novel used in this research is A Dance with Dragons novel (2011) by George R.R Martin. The issue of representation and misogyny tendencies are found in the novel. Qualitative research with a feminist approach was applied for the purpose to find the research objective which is to know the way Daenerys, Arya, and Melisandre are presented in the novel and to identify the misogyny lurking behind Daenerys, Arya, and Melisandre’s efforts to maintain their position. This analysis employs de Beauvoir’s Second Sex theory of women as “The Other”. The research reveals that behind the three powerful female characters, there is misogyny lurking behind Daenerys, Arya, and Melisandre's efforts in maintaining their powerful representation in George R.R. Martin’s A Dance with Dragons novel. The novel contains several examples of misogynist depictions, some of which include the objectification of women and an underestimation or undervaluation of female characters.

This work aims to visualize the author's childhood in the past that will never be repeated in contemporary painting. At that time every day the author enjoyed various games and activities that provided fun such as: playing ball, kites, playing old tires, jumping rope, playing bicycles, exploring.  The author recalls childhood in the past which was a period of transition from traditional games to modern games with gadgets and online games. Technology has changed and replaced traditional games to games that exist on technological media such as games in mobile phones (cellphones). The method of creating this work follows five stages, namely preparation, looking for ideas and ideas. Then, at the elaboration stage, recall and talk with the author's childhood friends by looking back at the excitement and joy of childhood. In the third stage, the synthesis stage, choosing ideas that will be applied in a work of art. Next, the stages of concept realization, sketching and asking for the approval of the supervisor. Finally, the completion stage, presenting the painting work in the form of a final exhibition. The work featuring visualizations of the author's childhood consists of 10 works with the title, "Shepherd Boy", "Jumping Rope", "Playing Marbles", "After School", "Cycling", "Going Home Quran", "Brother", "Monitoring","Old Tires", "Kite Playing".

One non-organic waste that is used extensively in daily life is plastic, particularly for food packaging vendors and as a raw material for toy manufacturers. Waste will result from the vast amount of plastic that residents of Medan Krio use and discard after consumption. The goal of the research program's implementation is to enable locals to recycle waste materials to create valuable products. The village of Medan Krio Village has a high population density, which has led to the development of waste management issues. The village has traditionally disposed of waste by burning it and throwing it beside the street, which is why there is a garbage stench. which has a strong odor as a result of careless trash dumping. In light of this issue, Ecobricks may offer a way to lessen plastic waste and turn it into products with a positive economic impact. Method: PAR (Participatory Action Research), which is study that identifies issues and then offers potential solutions. Findings: The Ecobrick technique is being used in Medan Krio Village to make use of plastic waste. A recycling technique known as "ecobricks" uses plastic bottles that have been packed full of non-organic materials until they are extremely hard and dense.

Background: Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a group of metabolic diseases characterized by hyperglycemia due to abnormalities in insulin secretion, insulin action, or insulin secretion. The prevalence of diabetes in the population aged 20-79 years based on region in 2019 globally reached 8.3% and Southeast Asia was in 3rd place (11.3%). Indonesia is ranked 7th among the 10 countries with the highest number of sufferers, namely 10.7 million. From the data obtained by the author, diabetes mellitus is one of the 10 biggest diseases in the Periuk Jaya Health Center, the number of which increases every year. From data obtained in 2023, January-December, there were 672 diabetes mellitus sufferers. To avoid disease complications in diabetes mellitus sufferers, it is necessary to control or reduce blood sugar levels. Controlling blood sugar levels for diabetes mellitus, apart from using diabetes medicines, you can also use more natural traditional plants, namely consuming red betel leaves. Method: Case study using nursing care for Mrs. S by giving boiled red betel leaves for 7 days. Result: This red betel leaf decoction provides significant results for controlling blood sugar levels for diabetes mellitus sufferers.
