University students frequently face various academic demands, such as coursework, research, field practice, and examinations. These pressures may lead to psychological stress that can trigger anxiety. If not properly managed, anxiety can negatively affect academic performance, social interactions, and students’ psychological well-being. The aim of this study was to examine the relationship between the intensity of Qur’an recitation and the level of anxiety among students. This research employed a quantitative descriptive design involving 103 students from the Department of Psychology, Padang State University as participants. The sampling technique used was nonprobability sampling with a purposive sampling approach. The instruments consisted of the Qur’an Reading Intensity Scale adapted from Pradika (2014) with a reliability coefficient of 0.721, and the Zung Self-Rating Anxiety Scale with a reliability coefficient of 0.829. Data were analyzed using Pearson’s product-moment correlation test. The findings revealed a significant negative correlation between the intensity of Qur’an recitation and students’ anxiety levels (r = -0.801; p = 0.000 < 0.05). This indicates that the more frequently students read the Qur’an, the lower their anxiety levels, and vice versa. Categorization results further showed that most students had a high intensity of Qur’an recitation (42.7%) and experienced low to moderate levels of anxiety (78.7%). These results reinforce previous studies suggesting that spiritual practices such as Qur’an recitation can serve as an effective spiritual coping strategy to foster tranquility, regulate emotions, and strengthen resilience in facing academic stressors. Therefore, Qur’an recitation can be recommended as a complementary approach to maintaining students’ mental health in higher education settings.

A contract is an agreement between two or more parties that creates legal rights and obligations to perform or refrain from performing certain actions. In business practice, a contract serves as a legal instrument that ensures certainty, fairness, and protection for all parties involved. To regulate these legal relationships, a comprehensive understanding of contract law is required as the juridical foundation for drafting and executing agreements. A valid contract must not only fulfill formal and material requirements as stipulated in the Civil Code but also be based on several fundamental legal principles, including the principle of freedom of contract, consensualism, pacta sunt servanda, good faith, and personality. Moreover, the contract formation process consists of several stages: the pre-drafting stage, the drafting stage which involves the structure and anatomy of the contract, and the post-drafting stage which focuses on the implementation and evaluation of the agreement. In its execution, disputes may arise; therefore, appropriate dispute resolution mechanisms such as negotiation, mediation, arbitration, or litigation are essential. A comprehensive understanding of these principles and stages in business contract formation is crucial to ensure that every agreement created is valid, fair, and effective for all parties.

This study aims to analyze how Islamic education policy in Indonesia functions as a social mechanism in shaping and maintaining societal integration amidst modern social change. Based on Émile Durkheim's functionalism theory, this study views Islamic education as an institution that plays a vital role in maintaining moral order, social solidarity, and preventing symptoms of anomie resulting from an imbalance between traditional values and the demands of modernity. The approach used is qualitative with an exploratory-descriptive orientation, with data collection techniques through literature studies of policy documents, institutional reports, and related scientific research results. The analysis is conducted descriptively and analytically to interpret the social function of the policy based on the concepts of social solidarity, division of labor, and anomie. The results show that policies such as madrasah integration, religious moderation programs, and teacher professionalization have a manifest function in expanding access to education, increasing social mobility, strengthening gender equality, and strengthening cohesion between religious communities. However, latent functions are also found in the form of bureaucratization of educational institutions, resource inequality, and value resistance among local communities. These findings confirm that Islamic education policy operates ambivalently: as an integrative instrument that strengthens social solidarity, but also as an arena for value negotiation between tradition and modernity. Therefore, Islamic education policy needs to be directed in a more contextual and participatory manner to optimally function as an agent of inclusive, adaptive, and sustainable social transformation for modern Indonesian society.

Indonesia is a large archipelagic country with significant fisheries potential. However, fish resources in Indonesian waters have shown a declining trend over the past decade. This decline is caused by various factors, including the deterioration of coastal environmental quality due to human activities that pollute the sea, destructive fishing practices, and excessive exploitation or overfishing. This study aims to analyze the utilization rate of bigeye tuna in FMA-NRI 573 landed at PPS Nizam Zachman and to provide recommendations for the utilization efforts of bigeye tuna in FMA-NRI 573 landed at PPS Nizam Zachman. The utilization rate of fish can be calculated by comparing the total catch to the maxmimum sustainable yield (CMSY) using the formula TPc=(Ci/CMSY)×100%TP_c = (C_i / C_{MSY}) \times 100\%TPc=(Ci/CMSY)×100%. The utilization rate obtained, with an average CMSY of 846,325, falls under the category of Lightly Exploited according to FAO and Moderately Exploited based on Ministerial Regulation KP No. 22/2021. This indicates that the utilization is still relatively low or minimal. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct a review of existing fishing regulations in order to maintain the potential sustainability of capture fisheries.

Unmonitored traffic conditions often hinder decision-making processes in traffic management, particularly on secondary roads. Jalan Raden Inten II in East Jakarta is one of the connecting routes with heavy traffic activity at certain times, yet no integrated data-based monitoring system is currently available. This study proposes an Internet of Things (IoT)-based traffic condition classification system to identify Clear, Normal, or Congested states based on vehicle counts and speed categorization. The system is designed using an ESP32 microcontroller, an HB100 sensor to detect vehicle speed, and two AJ-SR04M ultrasonic sensors to detect vehicle presence. Data on vehicle counts and the percentage of slow-moving vehicles are periodically transmitted to the ThingSpeak platform and processed using the Threshold-Based Classification method. The classification results are visualized on a dashboard-based website equipped with charts, traffic condition status, and notifications when consecutive congestion is detected. Testing was conducted using simulation data over a specific period. Qualitative validation was carried out by comparing the classification results with traffic indicators from Google Maps. The results show that the system can classify traffic conditions with a good degree of agreement with external references, although discrepancies occurred at certain times due to the limitations of simulated data. This research demonstrates that a simple IoT approach can provide an affordable and effective solution for monitoring and classifying traffic conditions, with potential for real-world implementation in future studies.

A crane is a mechanical device used to move loads from one location to another, with gantry cranes being one of the most commonly used types in the industrial sector, particularly at container terminals. While offering numerous benefits, the use of gantry cranes also presents several risks, such as potential structural failure of the crane, falling loads due to damage to hooks or ropes, and collisions with other objects. Additionally, lifting loads beyond the crane’s capacity can lead to equipment damage and even fatal accidents caused by electric shocks or adverse weather conditions like strong winds and rain. This study aims to identify and minimize workplace accident risks by applying the SWIFT (Structured What-If Technique) method. This method identifies hazards through the "what if" approach and evaluates risks using the Risk Rating Number (RRN), which measures the severity and likelihood of potential hazards. The results of this study show that ARTG and STS gantry cranes have 25% of hazards in the priority one category, while RTG has 20% of hazards in the same priority. From these findings, it can be concluded that risk mitigation should be focused on the ARTG and STS types, which show higher risk proportions. The recommendations from this study are to enhance safety procedures, provide continuous training for operators, and conduct regular crane maintenance to reduce the potential for accidents. By implementing these mitigation measures, it is hoped that workplace safety will be maintained and the risk of workplace accidents at the Semarang Container Terminal can be minimized.
