This study aims to simulate the M/M/1 queueing system using Python through a Modeling and Simulation approach supported by the Discrete-Event Simulation (DES) method. The objective of the research is to analyze key performance indicators of queueing behavior, including arrival time, service time, waiting time, queue length, and server utilization. The methodology employs DES, which models system behavior based on discrete events such as customer arrivals, service initiation, and service completion. The simulation generates stochastic arrival and service times using Poisson and exponential distributions, respectively. The results indicate that the DES-based M/M/1 simulation accurately reflects theoretical queueing behavior, showing increases in waiting times and queue lengths when arrival rates approach service rates, while server utilization corresponds to system load intensity. The findings demonstrate that DES is an effective approach for analyzing queue performance and can be extended to more complex models such as multi-server systems, priority queues, and predictive simulations using artificial intelligence.

Indonesian Sign Language (BISINDO) serves as a primary communication medium for the deaf community; however, limited public understanding often creates barriers during daily interactions. This study aims to develop a real-time BISINDO word-level translation system using hand landmark extraction and temporal modeling with Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM). The system employs MediaPipe Hands to detect 21 hand landmarks per frame, which are then processed as sequential motion patterns to classify five BISINDO words: saya, terima kasih, maaf, nama, and kamu. A total of 250 gesture samples were recorded under controlled lighting conditions as the primary dataset. The processed sequences were used to train the LSTM model, which was subsequently integrated with an ESP32 microcontroller and a DFPlayer Mini module to produce direct audio output. Experimental results show that the model achieved an average accuracy of 86%, with precision and recall values ranging from 0.81 to 0.94. The confusion matrix analysis indicates that most gestures were correctly classified, although some errors occurred in gestures with similar initial motion trajectories. Integration testing demonstrated an average system latency of 3.8 seconds and an audio output success rate of 85%. These findings indicate that the proposed system is capable of translating BISINDO word-level gestures accurately, responsively, and consistently in real-time conditions. This study provides a strong foundation for the broader development of sign language translation systems, with potential enhancements in vocabulary expansion, multi-user datasets, and hardware optimization for deployment in real-world environments.

Effective collaboration is a strategic imperative for contemporary organizations, yet its success hinges critically on team dynamics and underlying psychological factors like Trust and Psychological Safety. The purpose of this Systematic Literature Review (SLR) was to synthesize empirical research published between 2020 and 2025 to clarify how these psychological factors influence collaboration and team performance. Following the PRISMA guidelines, a rigorous search on Google Scholar using keywords such as "team performance," "psychological factors," and "collaboration" resulted in the final inclusion of 15 articles for in-depth synthesis. Findings confirm that Trust is the most vital psychological construct, acting as a crucial mediator: it successfully transmits the positive effects of Transactional Leadership on employee performance and, conversely, mediates the detrimental effect of Toxic Leadership leading to Employee Silence. Leadership Soft Skills and Emotional Intelligence are identified as primary antecedents that build perceived trustworthiness, which, in turn, significantly reduces Turnover Intention. The review also highlights emerging contexts: trust is now influenced by Agent-Related Factors in Human-AI Teams (HATs), and unconventional factors like Corporate Comedy are found to positively contribute to Group Cohesion. However, contradictory findings regarding trust's role in Knowledge Sharing suggest a significant research gap. This SLR concludes that building psychological capital is fundamental to effective collaboration and recommends that future research utilize Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to validate conceptual frameworks and employ mixed-methods approaches to resolve contextual conflicts within the literature.

This literature study evaluates the accuracy of the Slope Mass Rating (SMR) method for coal mine slope stability in Indonesia through a systematic descriptive synthesis of 25 empirical studies from 2020 to 2025. The objectives of the study were to identify the level of SMR prediction accuracy, factors affecting the method's performance, and modifications required for local Indonesian conditions. The research method involved a systematic search with inclusion criteria for empirical studies reporting SMR and/or Safety Factor (SF) values for coal mines and associated slopes in Indonesia. Quantitative analysis showed a range of reported SMR values between 41 and 96 with a median of 72, while SF values ranged from 1.137 to 4.09 for normal operational conditions. The synthesis results indicated that SMR provides a consistent stability classification for initial slope design and failure mode identification (planar, wedge, toppling), with historical validation showing a correlation of up to 91.23% between SMR-based hazard zoning and actual field events in some cases. Key limitations include dependence on discontinuity data quality, sensitivity to groundwater conditions and tropical weathering, and variation in the interpretation of adjustment factors F1-F4. Modifications such as NAAF23 and integration with numerical modeling have been shown to improve prediction reliability. It is recommended that coal mining practitioners combine SMR with kinematic analysis and limit equilibrium modeling as standard operating procedures, and develop adjustment factors specific to Indonesian geological conditions. Further research should focus on standardizing parameter reporting and cross-site quantitative validation to enable more robust statistical meta-analyses.

Accurate wind turbine power curve modeling plays a crucial role in performance evaluation, energy yield estimation, and data-driven control strategies. However, actual power curves often exhibit non-linear behavior influenced by atmospheric variability, measurement noise, and SCADA anomalies, making conventional modeling approaches less effective. This study proposes an optimized logistic power curve model whose parameters are tuned using Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) to improve predictive accuracy. The analysis uses the Wind Turbine SCADA Dataset from Kaggle, which undergoes extensive preprocessing including physical rule filtering, outlier detection with the Interquartile Range (IQR) method, anomaly removal, and smoothing of the power signal. A three-parameter logistic model is selected due to its ability to capture the typical S-shaped relationship between wind speed and power output. PSO is applied to identify optimal model parameters by minimizing the Mean Squared Error (MSE), utilizing 40 particles over 200 iterations. The optimized model achieves strong predictive performance with RMSE of 404.09, MAE of 179.96, and R² of 0.904 on the test set, indicating that more than 90% of the variability in actual power can be explained by wind speed. Residual analysis reveals heteroscedastic patterns and slight overestimation in mid-range wind speeds, yet overall model consistency remains high. Comparative evaluation against Linear Regression, Random Forest, and logistic modeling using curve_fit shows that the Logistic–PSO approach provides the most accurate and stable predictions. These findings demonstrate that combining logistic modeling with PSO offers an effective and robust method for data-driven wind turbine power curve optimization.
