This study aims to determine the influence of the school environment on the academic performance of sixth-grade students at SDN Priuk. The school environment includes physical, social, and psychological aspects that are interconnected in shaping students' learning quality. This research employs a qualitative approach through literature review, direct observation, and interviews with teachers, students, and parents. The results indicate that physical factors such as cleanliness, classroom comfort, and learning facilities significantly affect students' concentration and enthusiasm for learning. In addition, a positive social environment—marked by harmonious relationships among students, teachers, and peers—encourages enjoyable learning interactions and supports student motivation. The psychological aspect also plays a crucial role; students who feel emotionally supported and recognized for their achievements tend to have higher intrinsic motivation and better academic performance. This study recommends that schools continuously improve the quality of the learning environment in all three aspects to create a more conducive atmosphere for students’ academic growth and success..

Bullying in the school environment is an issue that has a significant impact on students' mental health and academic achievement. This study aims to analyze how bullying affects students' academic achievement and the factors that contribute to its impact. Using a descriptive qualitative method based on a literature study, this research found that students who experience bullying tend to experience stress, anxiety and depression, which hinder their concentration, motivation and engagement in the learning process. In addition, an unsafe school environment due to bullying can reduce the quality of social interactions and increase the risk of dropping out of school. To address these issues, prevention strategies involving educators, parents and stricter school policies are needed. Teachers play a role in creating a positive learning environment, while family support helps victims in emotional recovery. In addition, the integration of anti-bullying programs in the curriculum and increasing students' awareness of the impact of bullying are important steps in building a safer school environment that supports academic achievement.

This study investigates the dual impact of teacher competence on student academic performance and the development of leadership qualities in Senior High Schools and Vocational High Schools in Kabupaten Serang, Banten Province. Using a qualitative research approach, data were collected through interviews, focus groups, and classroom observations involving teachers and students. The findings reveal that teacher competence encompasses not only mastery of subject matter and pedagogical skills but also emotional intelligence and leadership modeling. Competent teachers create supportive and participatory learning environments that enhance both academic achievement and leadership development among students. The research highlights that effective teachers are those who not only deliver content but also engage students in meaningful ways, fostering a sense of belonging and motivation. This engagement is crucial, as it encourages students to take ownership of their learning and develop critical thinking skills. Furthermore, the study identifies that teachers who model leadership behaviors—such as ethical decision-making, effective communication, and collaboration—significantly influence students' perceptions of leadership and their willingness to adopt similar traits. However, challenges such as limited access to professional development and resource constraints affect the full realization of teacher competence. Many teachers express a desire for ongoing training and support to enhance their skills, yet systemic barriers often hinder their professional growth. The study underscores the need for comprehensive teacher development programs and policy support to improve educational outcomes holistically. These insights are valuable for educators, policymakers, and school administrators aiming to foster academic excellence and leadership skills in students. By prioritizing teacher competence and providing the necessary resources, schools can create an environment that not only promotes academic success but also prepares students to become effective leaders in their communities.

Free association is one of the major challenges faced by teenagers today. Changes in the era and technological advances have made the boundaries of social norms increasingly blurred. Many teenagers are trapped in a free lifestyle due to lack of supervision from parents, peer influence, and uncontrolled use of social media. This has an impact on declining academic achievement, even causing them to drop out of school. In conditions like this, the role of Guidance and Counseling (BK) teachers is greatly needed. BK teachers are expected to be able to provide individual and group counseling services, deliver material on moral and ethical values, and work together with parents in guiding students. With the right approach from various parties, teenagers are expected to be able to protect themselves from the bad influence of association and grow into responsible and characterful individuals.
