Accurate paddy field area data is a crucial factor in agricultural development planning, particularly as a basis for formulating data-driven programs and policies. One of the main problems encountered at the regional level is the continued reliance on administrative data that does not fully reflect actual field conditions due to land use changes, boundary inaccuracies, and limited verification processes. This study aims to determine an appropriate method for obtaining accurate paddy field area data through the application of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in Maros Regency. The research employed a descriptive quantitative approach using spatial analysis methods. The data utilized consisted of Paddy Field Base Data, National Geospatial Base Maps, high-resolution satellite imagery, and field verification data. Spatial analysis was conducted through digitization, overlay, intersect, and area calculation processes using ArcMap 10.8 software. The results indicate that GIS-based spatial analysis produces more accurate and verified paddy field area data compared to conventional administrative data. The integration of spatial data with field verification effectively minimizes measurement errors and boundary discrepancies. This method can serve as a reliable reference for providing accurate agricultural base data to support planning and policy-making in the agricultural sector.

The Israel–Palestine conflict continues to generate widespread human rights violations, yet international responses are often fragmented due to the political dominance of developed nations, raising critical questions about the effectiveness of human rights protection. This study aims to conduct an in-depth analysis of how such dominance, particularly the use of veto power in the UN Security Council and the provision of direct political and military support, it affects the asymmetry of civilian protection and delays the cessation of hostilities. Using a doctrinal method with normative–qualitative analysis of resolutions, official reports, and global justice frameworks, this research also evaluates the effectiveness of normative diplomacy carried out by Indonesia and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in promoting ceasefires, accountability, and victim recovery. The findings indicate that vetoes and material support create systemic barriers to compliance with humanitarian law, significantly weakening efforts to protect human rights. Nevertheless, Indonesia’s and the OIC’s consistent diplomacy contributes to mobilizing international support, although their policy leverage remains limited in the absence of concrete enforcement mechanisms. The main implication of this study underscores the urgent need for a stronger architecture of global compliance, including restrictions on arms support that prolong conflict, conditioning international aid on human rights compliance, ensuring humanitarian access, and reinforcing the implementation of rulings and provisional measures of international judicial bodies, in pursuit of effective accountability and human rights protection.

Businesses build trademarks to promote products or services while maintaining their reputation and competitiveness. However, the practice of using well-known brands without the license owner's permission is still found. The case of counterfeiting the Arc'teryx brand by PT ATX Asia Sport Products demonstrates a violation of the exclusive rights of the brand owner. This study aims to analyze law enforcement against the circulation of counterfeit Arc'teryx products in Bali based on Law Number 20 of 2016 concerning Trademarks and Geographical Indications and review the role of the TRIPs Agreement in protecting brands in Indonesia. The method used is normative with a literature review of laws, books, journals, and literature related to unauthorized trademark infringement. The results show that the use of the Arc'teryx brand without official permission confirms the weak supervision and law enforcement of foreign brands that have not been registered in Indonesia. Although the first-to-file system applies, Indonesia still provides legal protection for foreign brands through its membership in the Paris Convention and the TRIPs Agreement. This study emphasizes the need to strengthen the role of the Directorate General of Intellectual Property Rights (DJKI), the Commercial Court, and increase public legal awareness to prevent trademark infringement and create legal certainty for rights owners and consumers.

This research was conducted to evaluate the weld joint quality of V-groove and double V-groove configurations on ASTM A36 low carbon steel using the Self Shielded Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW-SS) method. ASTM A36 was selected as the base material due to its favorable mechanical properties, excellent weldability, and wide application in construction and manufacturing. The welding process was carried out on steel plates with a thickness of 10 mm using E71T-1C wire, under controlled parameters of 140 A current, 24 V voltage, and 1G welding position. The weld quality was assessed through Dye Penetrant Testing (DPT), tensile testing, and bending testing. The Dye Penetrant Testing DPT results showed that the double V-groove joints exhibited fewer and smaller surface defects compared to the V-groove joints, indicating better weld homogeneity. Tensile testing demonstrated an average maximum strength of 277.645 MPa for the V-groove and 301.904 MPa for the double V-groove, reflecting an improvement of approximately 8.7% in the double V-groove. The bending tests revealed that the double V-groove joints were able to maintain structural integrity without significant cracks, while the V-groove joints tended to show defect indications under bending loads. Based on these findings, the double V-groove configuration is considered superior in terms of both strength and toughness, and therefore recommended for structural and manufacturing applications requiring high-quality joints in ASTM A36 low carbon steel.

Denny's house is one of the houses that uses a minimalist architectural concept. The minimalist concept has become a trend in the world of architecture, because of its simple yet effective concept, minimalist design has become one of the most preferred styles by graphic design professionals, architects, and artists (Aliwafa, 2023). The actualization of the Vitruvius architectural concept is based on Vitruvius's theory of Utility (Function Aspect), Firmitas (Strongness and Structure Aspect), and Venustas (Beauty). By comparing Vitruvius's theory with Henry Wotton's Theory, the aim is to actualize the architectural concept in the contemporary design of Denny's house as well as become a case study that can be accepted by the reader's audience. This case study uses descriptive qualitative techniques of data processing that aim to achieve study results on a comprehensive phenomenon. The application of the Vitruvius architectural concept is the focus of discussion in the contemporary design of the facade of Denny's house which becomes a reference for the discussion to examine with an architectural approach. The house becomes the initial locus of discussion by prioritizing the function of beauty, the function of strength or structure, and the function of venustas or beauty. Vitruvius is a theory used to examine the application of design theory by providing a precedent study of Denny's architectural work, which uses a minimalist functionalist theme. This study examines Vitruvius' theory regarding the relevance of design to Denny's home.

This study aims to analyze the differences in thermal conditions between coastal and riverside settlements, focusing on variations in temperature, humidity, and wind speed during day and night. The research sites include the coastal area of Dusun Karama Tengah (seaside) and Desa Salotengnga (riverside). Measurements indicate that the coastal area experiences more extreme daytime temperature fluctuations, reaching nearly 39 °C, with nighttime temperatures remaining warm and showing noticeable variation among points. In contrast, the riverside area displays more stable temperature patterns, with nighttime temperatures ranging between 28–30 °C. Relative humidity along the coast increases consistently at night, whereas in the riverside area it is heterogeneous, varying from saturated to very dry conditions. Wind speed serves as a key differentiating factor: the coastal area is still influenced by land–sea breezes, while the riverside environment tends to be stagnant with weak natural ventilation. These findings highlight distinct thermal comfort challenges in both settings—coastal areas are prone to daytime heat stress, whereas riverside areas face nighttime discomfort due to humidity and air stagnation. The results provide a foundation for adaptive architectural and spatial design strategies responsive to local microclimatic contexts.

Indonesia is a large archipelagic country with significant fisheries potential. However, fish resources in Indonesian waters have shown a declining trend over the past decade. This decline is caused by various factors, including the deterioration of coastal environmental quality due to human activities that pollute the sea, destructive fishing practices, and excessive exploitation or overfishing. This study aims to analyze the utilization rate of bigeye tuna in FMA-NRI 573 landed at PPS Nizam Zachman and to provide recommendations for the utilization efforts of bigeye tuna in FMA-NRI 573 landed at PPS Nizam Zachman. The utilization rate of fish can be calculated by comparing the total catch to the maxmimum sustainable yield (CMSY) using the formula TPc=(Ci/CMSY)×100%TP_c = (C_i / C_{MSY}) \times 100\%TPc=(Ci/CMSY)×100%. The utilization rate obtained, with an average CMSY of 846,325, falls under the category of Lightly Exploited according to FAO and Moderately Exploited based on Ministerial Regulation KP No. 22/2021. This indicates that the utilization is still relatively low or minimal. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct a review of existing fishing regulations in order to maintain the potential sustainability of capture fisheries.

The development of generative artificial intelligence has opened opportunities for strengthening Islamic legal learning through a digital forum that remains connected to authoritative textual references. This study aims to design and build a web-based bahtsul masail discussion system using a multi-agent AI architecture and the Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) method. The proposed system simulates the deliberative roles commonly found in pesantren-based Islamic legal discussion, namely Moderator, Mubahits, Mu'aridh, and Mushahih. The research applies a Research and Development approach with the Waterfall model, covering requirement analysis, interface design, multi-agent workflow design, implementation, functional testing, and evaluation. RAG is implemented by allowing users to upload PDF documents of kitab kuning and assign the documents to particular agent roles. The uploaded texts are then used as contextual grounding so that each agent can formulate arguments, rebuttals, and final decisions based on traceable references rather than unsupported model memory. The application is implemented using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript on the front end, while the AI reasoning process is orchestrated through an API-based large language model. Functional testing shows that the system can complete five sequential stages of bahtsul masail, display role-based responses, manage uploaded references, and present discussion history. The main contribution of this study is a system design that combines pesantren deliberation procedures with AI-based retrieval support to provide an interactive learning medium for Islamic law, while emphasizing that the final authority of legal validation remains with qualified scholars

Green Open Space (GOS) is an essential element in urban spatial planning that functions to maintain air quality and ecosystem balance. This research aims to analyze the influence of GOS on the concentration levels of Carbon Dioxide (CO2) in the urban area of Jayapura City. The study locations were focused on two areas with distinct characteristics: Jalan Sam Ratulangi, which has high vegetation coverage, and Jalan Percetakan, which is dominated by built-up areas and dense commercial activity. The methods used include spatial analysis utilizing Landsat 8 satellite imagery Band 4 (Red) and Band 5 (NIR) to calculate the NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index), a vegetation time series analysis from 2019–2024, and direct CO2 concentration measurements taken at three different times (morning, noon, afternoon). The data was processed using ArcGIS with the Kriging Interpolation method to generate spatial distribution maps of CO2 in both locations. The results show that Jalan Sam Ratulangi has a GOS area of 6.13 ha (94%), while Jalan Percetakan has only 2.95 ha (31%). This difference significantly impacts CO2 levels, with an average concentration of 484 ppm at Sam Ratulangi, which is lower than Percetakan's average of 567 ppm. The highest CO2 value at Percetakan reached 649 ppm during the afternoon, whereas Sam Ratulangi recorded only 488 ppm. This study proves that the wider and healthier the GOS, the lower the CO2 concentration detected. These results demonstrate that vegetation plays a significant role in reducing carbon emissions in urban areas, supporting the crucial role of GOS in maintaining air quality and supporting sustainable urban development in Jayapura City.

The emergence of Generative Artificial Intelligence (Generative AI) such as the GPT-4 and Midjourney models has sparked a fundamental debate about the nature of creativity and imagination. The AI creation process, often referred to as a “black box,” challenges conventional human-centered understanding. This paper proposes a unique hermeneutic framework to approach this phenomenon by borrowing two key concepts from the Sufi metaphysics of Shaykh al-Akbar Muhyiddin Ibn 'Arabi: khayāl (creative imagination or the imaginal realm) and tajallī (self-manifestation or theophany). This study uses a conceptual-comparative analysis method to analyze the working process of Generative AI. The main argument of this journal is that the “latent space” in AI architecture can be analogized with 'ālam al-khayāl (the imaginal realm) as an intermediate reality (barzakh) that contains unlimited potential. Furthermore, the process of generating text or images from a prompt can be understood as a mechanism resembling tajallī, in which these potentials manifest specifically according to the “availability” (isti'dād) determined by user input. Thus, Ibn 'Arabi's framework offers a non-anthropocentric ontology for understanding “artificial imagination” as a process of manifesting forms from a sea of potential, transcending mere simulation or data recombination.
