The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology has significantly changed strategy and decision making in marketing management. However, the massive use of AI raises new challenges regarding ethics, transparency and governance. This research aims to analyze the impact of using AI, especially recommender systems and large language models (LLMs), on the effectiveness of marketing decisions, as well as the role of AI governance in controlling emerging ethical issues. The research method uses a quantitative approach with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis of data collected from 250 marketing professionals in Indonesia. The research results show that the use of AI has a significant positive effect on the effectiveness of marketing decisions (β=0.62, p<0.001), but also raises ethical issues (β=0.48, p<0.01). Ethical issues were proven to reduce the effectiveness of marketing decisions (β=-0.31, p<0.05), while good AI governance was able to moderate the negative impact of ethical issues (β=0.27, p<0.05). These findings underscore the importance of AI governance in building effective and ethical marketing systems.

Employee affective commitment is a critical factor for workforce retention and service quality in healthcare organizations, particularly among nurses who represent the largest professional group in hospitals. Kemayoran X Hospital has experienced persistently high nurse turnover rates, indicating potential deficiencies in affective commitment. This study aimed to examine the influence of perceived organizational support and organizational justice on nurses’ affective commitment, with work engagement serving as an intervening variable. A quantitative cross-sectional design was employed, involving 125 staff nurses at Kemayoran X Hospital selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using structured self-administered questionnaires distributed via Google Forms and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results demonstrated that perceived organizational support, organizational justice, and work engagement simultaneously exerted a significant effect on affective commitment. Furthermore, perceived organizational support and organizational justice showed significant positive effects on work engagement, which in turn significantly influenced affective commitment. Mediation analysis confirmed that work engagement partially mediated the relationships between perceived organizational support and affective commitment, as well as between organizational justice and affective commitment. These findings indicate that nurses who perceive fair treatment and strong organizational support are more likely to be engaged in their work and emotionally committed to their organization. In conclusion, strengthening organizational support systems, ensuring fairness in decision-making processes, and fostering work engagement are essential managerial strategies to enhance nurses’ affective commitment and reduce turnover in hospital settings.

In the context of rapid educational transformation and increasing demands in English language teaching, teacher professional identity has become central to how teachers interpret experiences and sustain professional engagement. However, limited research has examined how such identities are co-constructed through the collaborative narratives. Addressing this gap, this study explores how Vietnamese Generation-Z English-as-a-Foreign-Language teachers construct and negotiate their professional identities through collaborative narrative interactions. Grounded in a post-structuralist perspective and informed by Positioning Theory, the study conceptualizes teacher identity as discursively produced and contextually negotiated through storytelling. Employing a collaborative trio-narrative inquiry design, data were generated through individual narrative interviews, group narrative conversations, and reflective journals with these three teachers. A theme-based narrative analysis, guided by Clandinin and Connelly’s three-dimensional framework and Positioning Theory, was systematically conducted. Findings revealed that participants’ identities developed through reflexive interpretations of past experiences, interactive negotiations in present teaching practices, and future-oriented projections of their possible selves. These identity (re)constructions were further embedded within a moral order characterized by personal affection, responsibility, and professional commitment. The study itself contributes to teacher identity research by foregrounding collaborative meaning-making and processes of self- and other-positioning. Pedagogical implications are offered for teacher education and continuing professional development, alongside acknowledged limitations and directions for future research.

Guidance and counseling constitute a crucial element in the educational structure of elementary schools, functioning to support students’ holistic development, including academic, social, emotional, and personal aspects. As students at this level are in the early stages of development, they require systematic guidance to actively adapt to the school educational context while optimizing the development of their potential to an optimal level. This study aims to examine the variety of guidance and counseling services in elementary schools and their role in addressing students’ problems through a literature review of relevant scientific sources, including national and international journals as well as reference books published after 2020. The results indicate that the implementation of guidance and counseling at the elementary school level encompasses various forms of services, such as orientation to the school environment, information services, placement and referral guidance, group guidance activities, individual and group counseling services, consultation, and mediation efforts. These services contribute to helping students overcome learning difficulties, behavioral problems, social adjustment issues, and personality development. However, their implementation still faces several challenges, including a shortage of professional personnel and teachers’ limited understanding of guidance and counseling. Therefore, it is essential to strengthen guidance and counseling programs in elementary schools in a well-planned and sustainable manner.

The growing number of alleged medical malpractice cases in Indonesia, particularly physicians’ misdiagnosis resulting in patient death, underscores the need for stronger legal certainty and accountability in healthcare services. Physicians are professionally obligated to conduct diagnosis and medical treatment in accordance with professional standards, service standards, and standard operating procedures; however, negligence may occur and lead to severe harm. This study aims to analyze the legal provisions governing physicians’ liability for misdiagnosis causing patient death and to examine the forms of legal responsibility that may be imposed. The research applies a normative juridical method using a case approach and literature review, relying on primary legal materials such as the Indonesian Civil Code, the Criminal Code, the Medical Practice Law, the Hospital Law, and Law Number 17 of 2023 on Health, supported by secondary and tertiary sources. The findings indicate that physicians may be held liable under civil, criminal, and administrative law if the essential elements of medical negligence are proven, namely duty of care, breach of duty, harm (including death), and a causal relationship between the misdiagnosis and the fatal outcome. Moreover, liability may extend to hospitals under the doctrines of vicarious liability, hospital liability, and strict liability. This study implies the importance of strengthening professional competence, reinforcing disciplinary mechanisms, and ensuring balanced legal protection for both patients and healthcare professionals within Indonesia’s health law framework.

In Surabaya City, the City Government through the Transportation Agency developed the Suroboyo Bus and Trans Semanggi programs to address traffic congestion, limited public transportation, and the need for safe, comfortable, and environmentally friendly transportation. However, complaints are still found regarding limited facilities, irregular schedules, and suboptimal communication services, so that service performance evaluation is needed from the user's perspective. This study aims to analyze the performance of Suroboyo Bus and Trans Semanggi public transportation services at the Surabaya City Transportation Agency using five public service performance indicators according to Dwiyanto et al. (2021), namely productivity, service quality, responsiveness, responsibility, and accountability. The approach used is quantitative with the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method. The results of the study show an average expectation score (importance) of 4.18 and a reality score (performance) of 3.86 with an overall gap of -0.32, which means that the performance of Suroboyo Bus and Trans Semanggi services still does not meet public expectations. Through the IPA mapping, three attributes are in Quadrant I (high priority): the friendly and professional attitude of staff, the adequacy of on-board facilities, and the transparency of official information regarding schedules and service changes. A total of 13 attributes are in Quadrant II (maintained), 13 attributes in Quadrant III (low priority), and one attribute in Quadrant IV (excessive).

The implementation of the Health Workload Analysis (ABK Kes) method reveals both strengths and weaknesses, particularly regarding the suboptimal execution of core tasks such as filing and distributing medical records. This study aims to compare the workload of health human resources (SDMK) between primary and advanced healthcare facilities—specifically Banyudono 1 Public Health Center and Indriati Boyolali Hospital—both of which have implemented hybrid medical record systems. Using primary data collected through interviews and observations and analyzed via the ABK Kes method, the results indicate a need for 10 additional staff members in the Casemix Unit at Indriati Boyolali Hospital and 2 additional medical record practitioners at Banyudono 1 Public Health Center. The Available Working Time (WKT) at the Public Health Center was set at 75,000 based on the Minister of PAN-RB Regulation No. 1 of 2020, whereas the Hospital used real-time calculations. While the Public Health Center aligns its policies with Ministry of Health Regulation No. 19 of 2020, the Hospital adjusts its staffing needs based on the ABK Kes results. Given that this method focuses primarily on quantity, future research and development (R&D) should integrate Lean Thinking for process analysis, ABK Kes for capacity, Queueing Theory for dynamic analysis, and NASA-TLX for psychological evaluation to provide a more holistic assessment of staffing needs.

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of Sidoarjo Regent Regulation Number 69 of 2017 concerning the Civil Servant Code of Ethics in the Family Planning Sector at the Sidoarjo Regency Women's Empowerment, Child Protection, and Family Planning Office. A qualitative approach with a case study was used to explore the implementation of the policy through interviews, observation, and documentation. The analysis was conducted using William Dunn's six policy evaluation indicators, namely effectiveness, efficiency, adequacy, equity, responsiveness, and accuracy. The results show that the policy has provided clear behavioral guidelines and is applied evenly in the work environment. However, the effectiveness and efficiency of implementation are not optimal due to disciplinary violations, weak supervision, and unstructured communication between superiors. The aspects of adequacy and accuracy are considered relevant to the needs of the organization, but have not been able to fully overcome obstacles such as high workloads and low internalization of ethical values among employees. In general, this policy contributes to shaping the professionalism of civil servants, but still requires strengthening through continuous supervision and more systematic coaching. The originality of the study lies in the use of Dunn's evaluation model in the context of the implementation of the civil servant code of ethics at the regional level, as well as identifying gaps between normative policies and field practices. These findings confirm that the success of a code of ethics depends heavily on organizational communication, work culture, and consistency of oversight.

Data were collected from 210 ANC patients at RSUD Kemayoran through structured questionnaires. Variables included healthscape, mimetic desire, perceived value, and delivery location decision. All instruments met validity and reliability criteria. Results: Healthscape and mimetic desire significantly influenced the decision to choose RSUD Kemayoran for childbirth. Healthscape did not significantly affect perceived value, whereas mimetic desire showed a significant effect. Perceived value had a significant direct effect on delivery decisions but did not mediate the relationships between healthscape or mimetic desire and delivery choice. Healthscape emerged as the most influential determinant. Conclusion: Physical healthcare environments play a critical role in childbirth location decisions. Improving healthscape quality and strengthening professional and social recommendations may enhance ANC-to-delivery conversion rates in public hospitals.

The juridical issues concern the limits of military criminal jurisdiction, patterns of sentencing for soldiers, command responsibility, and their implications for the principles of civilian supremacy and equality before the law. This study aims to analyze the implications and provide a comparative assessment of the expansion of the Indonesian National Armed Forces’ (TNI) authority following Law Number 3 of 2025 concerning the Amendment to Law Number 34 of 2004, particularly in relation to the addition of civilian positions that may be occupied by active-duty soldiers and the expansion of Military Operations Other Than War (OMSP). This research employs a normative juridical method with statutory, conceptual, and comparative approaches, using data sources in the form of legislation as well as national and international legal literature, which are analyzed qualitatively with deductive reasoning in drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that, first, the criminal law implications of the post-expansion of the TNI’s authority and roles give rise to the potential emergence of official offenses (delicta propria), particularly in the implementation of OMSP and the assignment of active-duty soldiers to civilian positions, which may generate ambiguity in judicial forums and criminal accountability; and second, a comparison with the military sentencing systems in the Netherlands and the United States demonstrates the importance of clear classification of offenses, a clearer separation between military jurisdiction and civilian courts, and the strengthening of due process of law, as well as effective civilian oversight to ensure the professionalism and legal certainty of the TNI.

Malpractice in dental health services has become a complex legal issue as public awareness of service quality and patient rights continues to increase. The enactment of Law Number 17 of 2023 on Health introduces important changes in regulating the legal accountability of medical personnel, including dentists, particularly in relation to criminal liability for malpractice. This study analyzes the forms of dental malpractice and the criminal responsibility of dentists under the new Health Law. The research uses an empirical legal method with sociological and statutory approaches. Data were obtained through interviews and a review of relevant legislation, legal doctrines, and court decisions. The results show that dental malpractice can arise from negligence, failure to comply with professional standards, violations of standard operating procedures, and the absence or disregard of informed consent. Law Number 17 of 2023 stipulates that criminal liability for dentists can only be applied after a recommendation from the Professional Discipline Board, ensuring a clear distinction between inherent medical risks and professional misconduct. This framework is designed to provide balanced legal protection for both patients and dentists while strengthening legal certainty in malpractice case resolution. Consequently, dentists must understand professional standards and criminal liability mechanisms to practice responsibly and professionally.
