The Triple Elimination Program is an important initiative to prevent the transmission of HIV, Hepatitis B, and Syphilis from mother to child during pregnancy, childbirth, and breastfeeding. The goal of this program is to improve the well-being of mothers and babies, while reducing the transmission rate of these diseases that can endanger the health of both. This community service activity was carried out in Sungai Maram Village, Sintang, on July 16, 2025. The main target of this activity was 40 pregnant women, who were the objects of the infectious disease education and prevention program. To ensure the effectiveness of this activity, participant knowledge was measured using a pretest and posttest method. The pretest was conducted before the material was delivered to determine the participants' initial level of knowledge, while the posttest was conducted after the material was delivered to measure the extent of the participants' understanding of the information that had been presented. The material presented in this activity covered the three main diseases that are the focus of Triple Elimination, namely HIV, syphilis, and hepatitis B. In addition, participants were also provided with information on ways to prevent transmission of these diseases during pregnancy, childbirth, and breastfeeding. In addition, participants were taught the importance of regular checkups, proper medication use, and steps to protect the health of mothers and babies. The results of this activity are expected to raise awareness among pregnant women about the importance of preventing infectious diseases and provide useful information to maintain their health and that of their unborn babies. Thus, this program not only prevents disease transmission but also contributes to the overall well-being of the community. Furthermore, this activity also aims to strengthen community participation in preventing the transmission of HIV, Hepatitis B, and Syphilis.

This study investigates the influence of financial literacy and lifestyle on financial management among gym members at USB Fitness. Financial literacy refers to the ability to understand and apply financial concepts, while lifestyle encompasses spending patterns, consumption preferences, and daily habits. Low financial literacy combined with a high-consumption lifestyle can negatively impact personal financial management, potentially leading to poor budgeting, excessive debt, and limited savings. The research adopts a quantitative approach using a survey method, with data collected through structured questionnaires distributed via Google Forms. The population comprises 60 registered gym members, from which a sample of 52 respondents was determined using the Slovin formula with a margin of error of 5%. Data analysis techniques involve both partial (t-test) and simultaneous (F-test) hypothesis testing to assess the effects of the independent variables—financial literacy and lifestyle—on the dependent variable, financial management. The t-test results indicate that financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on financial management (t-count = 6.384 > t-table = 2.00958; p-value = 0.000 < 0.05), suggesting that higher financial literacy levels contribute to more effective personal financial practices. Conversely, lifestyle shows no significant effect on financial management (t-count = -0.013; p-value = 0.990 > 0.05), indicating that lifestyle variations among respondents do not directly determine their financial management capabilities.Simultaneous testing through the F-test reveals that financial literacy and lifestyle together have a significant influence on financial management (F-count = 21.333 > F-table = 3.191; p-value = 0.000 < 0.05). This suggests that while lifestyle alone may not significantly impact financial management, its interaction with financial literacy can influence financial outcomes. The study concludes that improving financial literacy among gym members is essential for enhancing financial management skills, while lifestyle modifications may only be impactful when supported by strong financial knowledge.

Type II diabetes mellitus (Type II DM) is a chronic disease that requires long-term self-care skills to prevent serious complications. However, many patients have difficulty managing blood sugar levels independently due to a lack of structured and ongoing education. The Student Creativity Program (PKM) aims to improve the self-care skills of Type II DM patients through an educational approach based on the Self-Care Deficit theory from Dorothea Orem. The activity was carried out in Bonto Ramba, the working area of the Tamalanrea Makassar Health Center, involving 35 participants (33 women and 2 men). Interventions were carried out through interactive counseling, demonstrations of diabetic foot wound care, practice simulations, and the distribution of easy-to-understand educational media. Evaluation was carried out using a pre-post test to measure knowledge improvement and an observation sheet to assess the ability of self-care practice. Results showed a significant improvement in participants' self-care knowledge and skills after the intervention. In addition, family involvement in assisting patients has also increased, strengthening the sustainability of self-care behavior. Participants gave positive feedback on the method of delivering material that was contextual and relevant to daily life. The supportive-educational approach used has been proven effective in empowering patients and building awareness of the importance of self-control of health conditions. This program not only contributes to improving the quality of life of Type II DM patients, but also strengthens the role of the family as the main support in the treatment process. In conclusion, structured education based on Orem theory can be used as an intervention model that can be replicated in other areas with high prevalence of DM, as a promotive and preventive strategy in community-based management of chronic diseases.

The low level of knowledge and attitudes of mothers regarding the use of the KIA handbook is due to their suboptimal use. Many mothers view the KIA handbook as merely a record of routine checkups, thus failing to understand the information it contains. This study aims to identify factors influencing the utilization of the Maternal and Child Health (KIA) handbook among mothers with toddlers in the Kwala Bekala Community Health Center (Puskesmas), Medan, Johor, in 2025. The study used an observational analytical method with a cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted of 45 mothers of toddlers living in the area. The sampling technique used was multistage sampling, conducted in stages to obtain appropriate respondents. The results showed that 62.2% of the utilization of the KIA handbook was influenced by mothers' attitudes, particularly regarding the implementation of the immunization program for pregnant women. The more positive the mother's attitude toward immunization, the greater the support of her husband's involvement in the process. The direction of the relationship found in this study was positive. Several factors that may influence mothers' attitudes toward the use of the KIA handbook include the number of children (the majority have one child (51.1%), the mother's education level (the highest is elementary school level at 19.42%), and the mother's occupation (the most common being a housewife at 30.66%). The use of the KIA handbook is classified as good at 62.2%, and the mother's attitude toward immunization during pregnancy shows a positive attitude at 75.6%.

Taxpayer compliance is a crucial factor in optimizing state revenue, particularly in supporting national development financing. However, in practice, various obstacles are still encountered that hinder the achievement of optimal compliance levels. Some of these include employees' low understanding of tax provisions and the less than optimal effectiveness of tax sanction implementation. This study aims to analyze the relationship between tax knowledge (X1) and tax sanctions (X2) on taxpayer compliance (Y) among employees of the Banten Province Cooperatives and SMEs Office. This study uses a quantitative method with an associative approach. The sampling technique uses saturated sampling, so that the entire population of 45 people is used as the research sample. Data analysis was performed using the Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) based Structural Equation Modeling method using SmartPLS software version 4.0. The results show that the tax knowledge variable (X1) has a t-statistic value of 1.190 <1.96 and a significance value (p-value) of 0.234 >0.05. Thus, tax knowledge does not have a significant effect on taxpayer compliance. Furthermore, the tax sanction variable (X2) obtained a t-statistic value of 1.436 < 1.96 and a p-value of 0.151 > 0.05, which means that tax sanctions also do not have a significant effect on taxpayer compliance. Overall, this study concludes that neither tax knowledge nor tax sanctions partially have a significant effect on the level of taxpayer compliance among the employees who were respondents in the study. This finding indicates that other factors, such as personal awareness, perceptions of tax fairness, and intrinsic motivation, may have a more dominant role in shaping taxpayer compliance. Therefore, a more comprehensive policy strategy is needed to increase compliance, not only through increasing knowledge or enforcing sanctions, but also through ongoing coaching, socialization, and persuasive approaches.

Neonatal jaundice is a common health problem in newborns, characterized by yellow discoloration of the skin and sclera due to increased bilirubin levels in the blood. This condition, if not detected and treated properly, can lead to serious complications such as kernicterus, which can lead to long-term neurological developmental disorders. Risk factors contributing to jaundice include suboptimal breastfeeding practices, delayed initiation of breastfeeding, and low birth weight. Adequate breastfeeding from an early age plays a crucial role in accelerating the excretion of bilirubin through feces, while monitoring birth weight can help identify infants at risk of hyperbilirubinemia. This outreach activity aims to increase mothers' and families' knowledge about the importance of early and exclusive breastfeeding, as well as monitoring birth weight as a preventive measure for neonatal jaundice. The activity was conducted at Andi Makkasau Regional Hospital using lectures, interactive discussions, and the use of educational media such as leaflets and posters. The training materials covered the definition, risk factors, signs and symptoms of jaundice, early detection procedures, the benefits of breastfeeding in preventing jaundice, and the importance of recording and monitoring infant weight. The activity was evaluated through pre- and post-tests to gauge participants' understanding. The evaluation results showed a significant increase in participants' knowledge, particularly regarding the relationship between delayed breastfeeding, low birth weight, and an increased risk of neonatal jaundice. Furthermore, participants gained a better understanding of home-based measures to detect early symptoms and when to immediately take their baby to a health facility.

This research is motivated by the low utilization of accounting information by Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), which can impact suboptimal business decision-making. Accounting information plays an important role in helping business actors manage operational activities, plan finances, and evaluate business performance. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the influence of accounting knowledge, business scale, and business experience on the perception of the use of accounting information, both partially and simultaneously. The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach with a causal research type. The population in this study were all MSMEs in Ngronggot District, Nganjuk Regency, totaling 162 business units. The sample used was 62 respondents, obtained through a simple random sampling technique with calculations using the Slovin formula. The data collection method was carried out by distributing questionnaires to predetermined respondents. Data analysis used multiple linear regression methods with the help of SPSS software version 27. The results of the study indicate that partially, accounting knowledge and business scale have a significant influence on the perception of the use of accounting information. This indicates that the greater the level of accounting knowledge and the larger the business scale, the higher the positive perception of the importance of using accounting information. Conversely, business experience did not show a significant partial effect, indicating that the length of time a person has been running a business does not always lead to increased use of accounting information. However, simultaneously, all three variables—accounting knowledge, business scale, and business experience—significantly influenced perceptions of the use of accounting information. This finding implies that increasing accounting knowledge and expanding business scale need to be addressed in MSME empowerment programs to optimally utilize accounting information.

Maternal anxiety during the childbirth process is a common psychological condition that can potentially increase the risk of complications, prolong labor, and reduce the likelihood of a positive birthing experience. High anxiety levels in mothers may interfere with the effectiveness of labor, impact maternal and fetal well-being, and lead to increased medical interventions. One of the most important support systems during labor is the presence and active involvement of the husband. The husband’s role is not only limited to being present but also includes providing emotional, physical, and motivational support to the mother. Recognizing the importance of this role, this community service program was designed to enhance husbands’ understanding and skills in supporting their wives during childbirth, thereby helping to reduce maternal anxiety. The program consisted of several stages, including the delivery of structured health education sessions on maternal needs during labor, demonstrations of effective communication techniques, simulations of support during different stages of childbirth, and interactive discussions to address questions and share experiences. Through these activities, participants were encouraged to build empathy, strengthen their knowledge about labor, and develop the confidence to assist their wives effectively. The results of the program indicated a noticeable improvement in the husbands’ awareness of the importance of their role, as well as increased confidence in providing both emotional reassurance and physical assistance. Participants reported feeling better prepared to accompany their wives, manage unexpected situations, and foster a more supportive environment during childbirth. This initiative highlights the significant impact that targeted education and training for husbands can have on maternal psychological well-being, ultimately contributing to safer and more positive birth experiences.

Voter education is an important instrument in realizing a quality and sustainable democracy. Through the process of voter education socialization, it is hoped that the public can understand in depth their rights and obligations in the implementation of elections, as well as encourage active and responsible participation in the democratic process. Citizen participation in democratic social life must be based on adequate knowledge, critical reflection, and awareness of the rights and responsibilities as voters. A good understanding of the effectiveness of voter education socialization can shape a critical, rational, and independent attitude in exercising the right to vote, thereby strengthening the foundations of a clean and integrity-based democracy. This community service was carried out in the Selogiri District, Wonogiri Regency, with the aim of providing political education to the public regarding the importance of participation in the 2024 simultaneous regional head elections. Through a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, the community was actively involved as subjects in the activity process, not just as objects receiving information. Community service activities are carried out by integrating outreach into various village events, aimed at attracting residents to attend, interact, and directly discuss local political issues and forms of participation in the regional elections. Through these activities, it is hoped that the community will have a more comprehensive understanding of the importance of their role in determining the direction of regional policy through the regional elections. This education is also expected to raise awareness to vote based on conscience, without intervention or negative influences such as money politics, which has been a major challenge in every election at both the central and regional levels.

Stunting remains a chronic nutritional issue and a significant public health challenge in Indonesia, particularly in rural areas such as Jurang Village, Temanggung Regency. One of the key contributing factors to the high prevalence of stunting is the low level of maternal knowledge regarding balanced nutrition and the appropriate practice of providing supplementary feeding (Pemberian Makanan Tambahan or PMT) for children under five. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of PMT menu leaflet media as a tool to increase mothers’ knowledge and awareness regarding stunting prevention. The research was conducted through a series of community-based surveys during Posyandu (integrated health post) activities across several neighborhood units (Rukun Warga or RW). These surveys identified cases of stunting and assessed the educational needs of mothers with young children. Based on the findings, a culturally and contextually adapted leaflet was developed, containing essential information about stunting, its early signs, the importance of PMT, and practical, nutritious recipes made from locally available ingredients. To expand accessibility, the leaflet also included a QR code linked to a digital e-book featuring 54 variations of PMT menus. The educational materials were distributed through door-to-door visits, accompanied by the direct provision of supplementary food, enabling immediate practice of the knowledge shared. Post-intervention results showed a significant improvement in maternal understanding of stunting and nutrition, as well as positive feedback regarding the clarity, relevance, and usefulness of the leaflet. The culturally tailored approach and integration of digital resources further enhanced engagement and knowledge retention. In conclusion, the PMT leaflet proved to be an effective, practical, low-cost, and replicable educational intervention to support community-based stunting prevention efforts in Jurang Village. This approach offers a promising model for similar rural areas facing high stunting rates across Indonesia.

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) remains a significant public health challenge in Indonesia, with the increasing prevalence of cases every year. One of the key methods of controlling the spread of DHF is to target the vector, Aedes aegypti mosquitoes, by eradicating their larvae. However, the widespread and continuous use of chemical larvicides has raised concerns regarding the development of mosquito resistance and environmental pollution. This community service activity aimed to provide students at Duta Karya Vocational High School with knowledge and practical skills to use natural, eco-friendly alternatives for controlling mosquito larvae, focusing on papaya seeds (Carica papaya) and alum as natural larvicides. The methods for this activity included interactive counseling, a demonstration on how to produce larvicides using papaya seeds and alum, and an engaging question-and-answer session. Thirty 12th-grade students from the Pharmacy class participated in this activity. The results revealed that the activity was highly effective in increasing the students' understanding and practical ability to independently create and apply natural larvicides. The students expressed a high level of enthusiasm and interest in the topic, actively participating in the discussions and demonstrations. As a result of this community service, the school has expressed interest in incorporating this activity into its School Health Unit (UKS) work program, which will further promote the use of natural, sustainable methods for controlling mosquito populations. The students, now equipped with the necessary skills, are ready to become "jumantik" cadres—community health volunteers responsible for monitoring and preventing mosquito larvae development. This initiative also raised awareness about utilizing organic waste, such as papaya seeds, to create valuable products for the prevention of DHF.

The coverage of complete basic immunization remains a serious public health concern, particularly in rural areas such as Suka Raya Village, Pancur Batu Subdistrict, where only 26.2% of infants have received full basic immunizations. Low maternal knowledge and negative attitudes are among the primary barriers contributing to this issue. This community service activity was designed to increase the knowledge and attitudes of mothers regarding the importance of complete basic immunization through structured health education. The activity involved 42 mothers with infants aged 9–12 months and was conducted in July 2025 at the Suka Raya Village Hall. The method consisted of interactive lectures, distribution of educational leaflets, and direct discussions facilitated by health educators. Pre- and post-intervention questionnaires were used to assess changes in knowledge and attitudes. The results showed a significant improvement: mothers with good knowledge increased from 47.6% to 85.7%, and those with positive attitudes increased from 42.9% to 83.3%. The findings support that community-based health education interventions can effectively enhance maternal understanding and behavioral intentions toward completing their children's immunization schedules. It is recommended that similar educational activities be regularly implemented and supported by local health institutions and cadres. This initiative demonstrates the importance of empowering mothers at the grassroots level to improve child health outcomes.

Exclusive breastfeeding for the first six months of a baby's life is an important strategy to support optimal growth and development. Breast milk has many benefits for babies, such as strengthening the immune system and supporting brain development. However, various obstacles such as emotional stress, lack of self-confidence, and minimal support from family and the community remain significant barriers to successful breastfeeding. These issues often lead to failure to provide exclusive breastfeeding in accordance with health recommendations. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of hypnobreastfeeding training in improving breastfeeding knowledge, attitudes, and practices among mothers with infants aged 0–6 months in the Bojongkerta area of Bogor City. Hypnobreastfeeding is a psychological approach that combines relaxation techniques, positive affirmations, and education about breastfeeding to help mothers feel more confident in the breastfeeding process. This study used a quasi-experimental approach with a pre- and post-test design without a control group. A total of 31 breastfeeding mothers participated in this training, which included education about breastfeeding, positive affirmation techniques, and relaxation exercises. Data analysis results showed a significant increase in mothers' knowledge and attitudes towards breastfeeding after the training intervention. Furthermore, the study also recorded an increase in the success of exclusive breastfeeding during the observation period. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that hypnobreastfeeding is an effective approach to supporting the empowerment of breastfeeding mothers at the community level. This method offers a psychologically based solution to overcome social barriers that affect the success of exclusive breastfeeding.

Exclusive breastfeeding coverage remains a challenge in several areas, including Bojongkerta Village, within the Cipaku Community Health Center (Puskesmas) jurisdiction, South Bogor District, Bogor City. Lack of knowledge, high levels of stress during breastfeeding, and minimal family support are often major obstacles to successful exclusive breastfeeding. One approach that can be applied to address these issues is hypnobreastfeeding, a relaxation technique combined with positive affirmations to support mothers' readiness to breastfeed. The objective of this activity is to increase the capacity of breastfeeding mothers in exclusive breastfeeding through community-based hypnobreastfeeding training, which also involves Posyandu RW 1 cadres as the main supporting partners of the activity. The method used in this activity involves three stages: first, education and training in hypnobreastfeeding techniques for breastfeeding mothers; second, practical mentoring by lecturers involving students from the Midwifery Diploma Three Program at Ummi University Bogor; and third, evaluation of results through knowledge measurement and observation of breastfeeding practices. A total of 10 breastfeeding mothers and 4 Posyandu cadres participated in this activity. The evaluation results showed an increase in understanding of the benefits of exclusive breastfeeding and a positive change in attitudes towards breastfeeding practices. Furthermore, the active involvement of Posyandu cadres is expected to strengthen ongoing support at the community level. In conclusion, the hypnobreastfeeding training had a positive impact on empowering breastfeeding mothers and strengthening the role of Posyandu cadres as supporters of the exclusive breastfeeding program at the community level. This program also has the potential to expand the reach of education about exclusive breastfeeding and increase the success of sustainable exclusive breastfeeding in the community.
