The sustainable management of marine ecosystems and fishery resources is a primary goal of the SDGs (Goal 14). Supporting this objective requires the availability of a cold chain network, including ice factories, to preserve the quality and freshness of fish catches. In the southern coastal area of Sukabumi, particularly Ciwaru Village within the Ciletuh National Geopark, the availability of ice factories remains insufficient. Small fishing vessels (<5 GT) in this area require approximately 6 tons of ice per month. This study aims to design the production capacity of a portable mini ice factory to meet the local ice demand. By considering seasonal patterns, fishing volumes, and fluctuating ice needs, the factory is designed to produce around 788–798 tons of ice per year, with an ice storage capacity of 2 tons. The design utilizes 12 kg ice blocks, adjusted to the vessel sizes commonly used by local fishermen employing one-day fishing methods. The planning results indicate that the establishment of this mini ice factory can address the ice supply shortage in Ciwaru, support the maintenance of fish quality, and enhance the economic value of fishermen’s catches.

Coronary heart disease (CHD) is one of the leading causes of death worldwide due to impaired blood and oxygen supply to the heart muscle. This study aims to explore the potential of two natural compounds—kaempferol from Moringa oleifera and geranylated chalcone (GTDC) from Artocarpus altilis—as therapeutic candidates for CHD through a molecular docking approach. Medicinal chemistry analysis revealed that kaempferol exhibits significant affinity for the NF-κB protein, forming key hydrogen bonds with residues involved in the inflammatory process of atherosclerosis. Meanwhile, GTDC demonstrates strong binding to the P2Y12 receptor, which plays a crucial role in platelet aggregation, with a docking score lower than that of the natural ligand ADP. Structurally, hydroxyl group positioning and the lipophilic geranyl chain enhance both bioactivity and pharmacokinetic properties. In conclusion, a medicinal chemistry approach involving in silico docking, structure–activity relationship (SAR) analysis, and ligand optimization strategies confirms the potential of kaempferol and GTDC as promising multifunctional therapeutic agents for CHD. Further validation through in vivo studies and clinical testing is required.

The Drinking Water Supply System (SPAM) is essential infrastructure for ensuring access to clean water. SPAM Tembudan, located in Batu Putih District, Berau Regency, plays a key role in supplying raw water for both domestic and non-domestic uses. This study analyzes the sustainability of SPAM Tembudan by evaluating raw water quality, availability, and system efficiency. Primary data were collected through field surveys, water sampling, and interviews with operators and residents. Water quality was assessed based on physical, chemical, and biological parameters, following Ministry of Health Regulation No. 492/Menkes/Per/IV/2010. Availability was evaluated through flow rate measurements and community water demand, while system efficiency was assessed by examining treatment efficiency and water loss (Non-Revenue Water/NRW). Findings reveal that most water quality parameters meet national standards, though some show signs of potential contamination. In terms of availability, raw water is currently sufficient to meet demand, but seasonal changes particularly during the dry season threaten long-term sustainability. The analysis also identifies inefficiencies in the distribution network, with notable water losses that need addressing. To ensure the long-term sustainability of SPAM Tembudan, the study recommends enhancing the treatment process, improving raw water resource management, and reducing distribution losses. Encouraging community involvement and strengthening the capacity of local operators are also critical for maintaining the system’s performance. These strategies aim to secure reliable, high-quality drinking water for the community while supporting sustainable resource use.

This study aims to determine the balance of the money and goods markets from an Islamic economic perspective. The research method used is the study of literature from articles, papers, books, and other sources that support the problem under study. The results of this study indicate that Islamic economics states that when prices are fixed, income and interest, or the expected rate of profit, are at a level that balances the commodity market and the money market. The equilibrium level of income and welfare is at the intersection of the IS and LM curves, using the interest rate and the expected rate of return. In Islamic economics, a similar mechanism occurs in the economy that income and the anticipated rate of return lead to the equilibrium level. However, as previously mentioned, changes in income do not directly cause changes in the money market interest rate, which creates a balance between the demand for money and the money supply. Therefore, the interest rate on the interest income panel can only be determined by the IS curve without the LM curve. In other words, the interest rate always appears on the IS curve but can also occur outside the LM curve.

This essay was written to investigate why, in spite of the policies that the Nigerian government has put in place, poverty rates are still high. The main obstacle that every accountable and responsive government must overcome is Regardless matter whether the government is a military dictatorship or a democracy, it must improve and give greater meaning to the lives of its citizens if it is to remain relevant and legitimate in the eyes of the governed. Since independence, every succeeding administration has implemented some kind of plan to lessen the suffering of the populace and make them happy.Prior to and during the Structural Adjustment Program (SAP), it was noted that the majority of these programs were supply-driven, meaning they were unable to address the needs of the impoverished and, as a result, had little impact on reducing poverty. In order to reach the target poor, various programs that were introduced after SAP adopted a demand-driven strategy. The purpose of this study are (i) to critically analyze the several programs, reforms, and policies aimed at reducing poverty that have been implemented by Nigerian governments in succession, as well as the factors that contributed to their success or failure. (ii). expresses profoundly helpful measures that, if properly applied, would help the country escape its current poverty trap and put it on the correct path for sustainable economic development rather than just the steady economic progress it has seen over the years.
