Carbon emission disclosure is increasingly important for companies in establishing legitimacy, enhancing stakeholder trust, and drawing public attention to sustainability issues. This study aims to examine how profitability, leverage, and company size affect carbon emission disclosure. The research is grounded in legitimacy theory and stakeholder theory, which provide the theoretical foundation for understanding corporate carbon disclosure behavior. The population of this study comprises energy companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2020–2023 period. The sample was selected using non-probability purposive sampling, resulting in 113 observations. Data were analyzed using SPSS with multiple linear regression techniques. The results indicate that profitability and company size have a positive influence on carbon emission disclosure, while leverage does not have a significant effect. Theoretically, the findings support the notion that profitability and company size drive carbon disclosure, in line with legitimacy and stakeholder theories.

TikTok has transformed into an effective digital marketing platform, not only for introducing products but also for shaping impulsive shopping behavior. This study aims to analyze the impulsive shopping behavior of Generation Z on TikTok Shop. The research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive approach, with data obtained from digital searches and observations. The findings indicate that Generation Z has a strong interest in utilizing the TikTok Shop feature within the TikTok application, making it one of their preferred alternatives for online shopping transactions. TikTok significantly influences Generation Z’s shopping behavior, as they tend to purchase products after seeing them on the platform. Businesses leverage TikTok as an efficient marketing tool, particularly through creative content, short videos, and influencer recommendations. By utilizing an algorithm that tailors content to users’ preferences, TikTok Shop creates offers that appear attractive to consumers. Generation Z is often influenced to buy items they do not actually need. Sudden purchases driven by emotions—such as low prices or limited-time offers—often lead them to overlook product quality. As a generation living in the digital era, Gen Z needs to better regulate their impulsive consumer behavior. Wisely utilizing technology and understanding the marketing strategies used by platforms like TikTok Shop can help them avoid excessive impulsive spending. By prioritizing needs over wants and carefully considering the value and benefits of a product before purchasing, Gen Z can become smarter and more responsible consumers.

This study aims to evaluate the financial performance of PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk during the period 2021 to 2024 in an effort to assess the effectiveness of financial management within the infrastructure sector. The main focus of the study is to determine whether there has been an improvement in financial performance based on relevant financial indicators. The analysis was conducted using a descriptive quantitative approach based on the company’s published annual financial statements. The results indicate that, in general, PT Jasa Marga has experienced a significant improvement in financial performance over the past four years. This is reflected in improved liquidity, solvency, profitability, and activity ratios. The increase in toll revenue, as the company’s main source of income, along with profit growth and operational efficiency, serve as key indicators of the success of management strategies in addressing post-pandemic challenges and expanding national toll road projects. Additionally, improved debt management is evidenced by the declining leverage ratios year after year. These findings support the hypothesis that there has been an improvement in financial performance during the observation period.

Edu Spectrum: Journal of Multidimensional Education 2025 Pusat Riset dan Inovasi Nasional Mabadi Iqtishad Al Islami

This study explores Turkey’s emerging role as a pivotal educational bridge in the context of international higher education, analyzed through the combined lenses of management and international relations. Turkey’s strategic use of education as a form of soft power, alongside its institutional efforts to internationalize higher education, underpins its ambition to foster diplomatic ties and enhance geopolitical influence. By examining cross-border educational partnerships and the mobility of international students from strategically significant regions, this research highlights both opportunities and challenges in Turkey’s educational branding. Despite notable progress, contradictions related to political interference, academic freedom, and quality assurance complicate Turkey’s global reputation as an education hub. The study employs a library research methodology, analyzing secondary sources to provide an integrative perspective on how education management intersects with foreign policy objectives. Findings suggest that Turkey’s educational diplomacy serves as a vital tool for geopolitical leverage but requires addressing internal governance issues to sustain credibility and effectiveness in the global education landscape.

Non-Civil Servant Government Employees (PPNPN) are a vital component in the operational activities of an organization. However, their performance management faces challenges in efficiency and standardization. This scientific paper examines the potential implementation of Google Sites as a platform for PPNPN performance management. The analysis focuses on the existing regulatory framework. The proposed model leverages the integration of Google Sites with Google Forms, Google Sheets, and other supporting applications provided by Google to digitize the performance management cycle, from planning, monitoring, and evaluation (based on indicators such as integrity, discipline, teamwork, communication, and service), to documentation and feedback. The main advantages of this platform include administrative efficiency, increased data transparency and accessibility, centralized data management, potential for consisten process, collaboration, and cost-effectiveness. Nevertheless, its implementation faces significant challenges related to the digital literacy gap among PPNPN with diverse roles, data security and privacy issues in the public sector, the need for robust change management, feature limitations compared to specialized HRIS systems, particularly in the Ministry of Finance where the research object's office is located, and the necessity for adequate supporting infrastructure. This research concludes that Google Sites offers a technically viable solution, but its success highly depends on the organizational and human resource readiness of both the HR managers and the PPNPN themselves.

This study provides a comprehensive synthesis of ten SINTA-accredited journal articles (levels 1–3) published from 2019 to 2024, examining how a low-interest-rate policy environment affects corporate capital structure in Indonesia. We focus on internal determinants (profitability, firm size, asset composition) versus external factors (market interest rates) in shaping firms’ debt ratios. The meta-analysis results indicate that although low interest rates statistically encourage higher leverage (average coefficient +0.28), internal firm characteristics remain the dominant drivers of capital structure decisions. Approximately 80% of studies report that more profitable firms tend to reduce debt ratios, consistent with the pecking order theory. In the post-pandemic context, low rates initially facilitated cheap borrowing, but heightened economic uncertainty underscores the need for managers to align funding strategy with each firm’s risk profile. The study draws practical implications: financial managers should calibrate capital structure in line with profitability and market volatility, while regulators should monitor corporate debt growth to safeguard financial stability. The findings also suggest directions for future research on how evolving macroeconomic conditions influence corporate finance in Indonesia.

Firm value is a metric that reflects investors’ perception of management’s success in managing the company, as represented by the market price of its shares. The transportation and logistics sector in Indonesia has faced significant challenges, especially since the COVID-19 pandemic, which has led to fluctuations in firm value. This study aims to analyze the effect of managerial ownership structure, sales growth, and business risk on the firm value of transportation and logistics companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2020–2022 period. This research employs a quantitative approach with an associative research design. The primary theoretical framework used is agency theory, which explains the relationship between owners and managers and highlights the importance of aligning their interests in decision-making processes. The sample consists of 16 companies selected using purposive sampling, resulting in 48 observations over three years. Data were obtained from the official IDX website and analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS software. The dependent variable is firm value, measured by price to book value (PBV), while the independent variables are ownership structure, measured by management ownership percentage (MOP); sales growth, measured by growth sales rate (G); and business risk, measured by the degree of operating leverage (DOL). The results of the study indicate that all three independent variables have a positive and significant effect on firm value. These findings support agency theory and demonstrate that an appropriate ownership structure, stable sales growth, and effective management of business risk can enhance firm value. This study is expected to contribute to the development of accounting science and managerial practices in the transportation and logistics sector, as well as provide insights for investors in making informed investment decisions.
