. The rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) has brought significant changes in various fields, including education and church life. This study aims to examine the dynamics of the formation of prospective catechists in facing the challenges of AI use at the IPI Malang Pastoral College. This study used a qualitative, descriptive approach, through observation and interviews with students as research subjects. The results show that the use of AI has become an integral part of the learning process, helping students understand material, develop academic skills, and enhance creativity in the pastoral field. However, the use of AI also poses challenges in the form of a tendency towards instantaneous attitudes and potential dependency that can hinder critical thinking skills and deep reflection on faith. In the context of pastoral education, the formation of prospective catechists emphasizes not only intellectual aspects but also spirituality, personality, and pastoral sensitivity. Therefore, the wise and proportional use of AI is necessary, while still positioning it as a supporting tool, not a substitute for human roles. The role of lecturers and educational institutions is crucial in guiding students to be able to use technology critically, reflectively, and responsibly. Thus, the integration of technology and faith values is expected to produce prospective catechists who are able to respond to the challenges of the times in a relevant and meaningful manner.

Catechesis is a process of faith formation that aims to help the faithful, especially Catholic youth, to know, internalize, and live out the Christian faith in their daily lives. In the digital era, youth participation in ecclesial life tends to decline, as indicated by low involvement in Church activities. This condition is influenced by various factors, such as academic and work commitments, as well as the dominance of digital culture, which is often more appealing to young people than spiritual activities. This study aims to analyze the role of catechesis in increasing the participation of Catholic youth in the digital era and to examine the relevance of retreats and recollections as contextual forms of catechesis. The research employs a qualitative approach using a literature study method, supported by observations of ecclesial life at the station level. The findings indicate that catechesis that is primarily informative is less effective in addressing the needs of young people, who seek a more personal and participatory faith experience. In this regard, retreats and recollections have the potential to serve as forms of catechesis that deepen faith experiences and encourage active participation in the life of the Church.

Edamame soybean plants are classified as a type of legume, growing upright and with dense leaves. Edamame soybeans can be consumed fresh or processed. One of the soils that can be planted with edamame is peat soil. However, peat soil still has obstacles such as acidic soil conditions and poor nitrogen (N) nutrients in the soil. Low nitrogen content in peat soil can be overcome by adding N fertilizer and photosynthetic bacteria. The use of photosynthetic bacteria in cultivating edamame soybeans can help increase nitrogen supply by fixing nitrogen (N) in the air. This research aims to determine the efficiency of applying a combination of nitrogen fertilizer and photosynthetic bacteria on the growth and yield of edamame soybeans in peat soil. This research was carried out in Pontianak City, with a research duration of approximately 3 months starting from 17 June - 29 August 2023. This research used a Completely Randomized Design consisting of 4 treatment levels, namely; n1= 25 kg/ha N fertilizer + photosynthetic bacteria, n2= 50 kg/ha N fertilizer + photosynthetic bacteria, n3= 75 kg/ha N fertilizer + photosynthetic bacteria, n4= 100 kg/ha N fertilizer + photosynthetic bacteria. The variables observed in this study consisted of plant height, number of productive branches, root volume, plant dry weight, number of root nodules, flowering age, number of pods and pod weight. This research aims to determine the efficiency of applying a combination of nitrogen fertilizer and photosynthetic bacteria on the growth and yield of edamame soybeans in peat soil. This study aims to analyze the level of financial literacy and examine its influence on the household welfare of vegetable farmers. Agricultural households, particularly smallholder vegetable farmers, frequently experience economic vulnerability due to several structural challenges such as unstable agricultural income, seasonal production patterns, fluctuating market prices, limited access to formal financial services, and inadequate financial management skills. These conditions often make farm households more susceptible to economic shocks, including crop failure, input price increases, or sudden market price declines. In this context, financial literacy becomes an essential capability that enables farmers to manage their financial resources more effectively. This research employed a quantitative research design using a survey approach. The study involved 120 vegetable farmers selected as respondents from major vegetable-producing areas. Data were collected through structured questionnaires designed to measure farmers’ financial literacy levels and household welfare conditions. Financial literacy was assessed through indicators such as financial knowledge, financial behavior, and financial attitudes, while household welfare was evaluated based on indicators including consumption stability, education and health expenditures, savings capacity, and overall economic resilience. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics to describe the characteristics and financial literacy levels of respondents, and multiple linear regression analysis to examine the relationship between financial literacy and household welfare. The results of this study highlight the importance of strengthening financial education programs targeted at agricultural communities. Improving financial literacy among vegetable farmers can contribute not only to better household financial management but also to broader rural economic development. Therefore, financial education initiatives should be integrated into agricultural extension programs, farmer group activities, and local government development strategies. Such initiatives may include training in household financial planning, simple bookkeeping for farm businesses, savings management, and responsible credit use. By enhancing farmers’ financial capabilities, these programs can help improve household welfare, strengthen rural economic resilience, and support the long-term sustainability of the agricultural sector.

The development of digital technology has driven significant changes in modern learning methods by integrating various multimedia media. However, multimedia's ability to facilitate learning depends largely on the extent to which its presentation aligns with the principles of learning psychology, particularly those outlined in the Cognitive Theory of Multimedia Learning (CTML). This study aims to examine the role and effectiveness of multimedia in transforming modern learning methods by combining the results of recent empirical research from 2020 to 2024. This study used the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method by analyzing 22 journal articles obtained from several databases such as Scopus, Web of Science, ScienceDirect, Google Scholar, and Sinta. Research shows that the use of interactive multimedia helps increase student enthusiasm for learning, participation, understanding of concepts, and the ability to remember course material. However, disorganized multimedia design can add unnecessary mental burden, thereby reducing learning effectiveness. These findings suggest that the successful use of multimedia depends not only on the level of technological advancement but also on the quality of learning design that applies cognitive theory. This study provides a comprehensive summary of the latest research and provides tangible benefits for educators in creating effective digital learning content.
