This study investigates sustainable Islamic business models through a qualitative case study of green-tech startups in Central Java, Indonesia. Using semi-structured interviews with founders, managers, and employees, complemented by secondary data from business reports and sustainability disclosures, the research examines how Islamic ethical principles, including stewardship (khalifah), social welfare (maslahah), and justice (adl), are integrated into operational practices and sustainability strategies. The purposive selection of 3–5 startups enables an in-depth exploration of organizational decision-making, innovation adoption, and environmental and social performance. Thematic analysis identifies recurring patterns in ethical integration, technological innovation, and sustainability outcomes. Findings reveal that Islamic startups effectively embed ethical values into operations, fostering environmental accountability through renewable energy initiatives, waste reduction, and resource optimization, while enhancing community engagement and equitable service delivery. Technological innovations such as IoT, AI, and blockchain further support sustainability performance, enabling startups to monitor and optimize environmental outcomes without compromising financial viability. Comparative analysis demonstrates that Islamic startups outperform non-Islamic counterparts in key sustainability metrics, including carbon reduction and social impact, highlighting the competitive advantage of ethics-driven entrepreneurship. Overall, the study confirms that Islamic ethical frameworks foster both environmental accountability and technological innovation, providing a practical model for sustainable development in emerging economies. These findings offer valuable insights for policymakers, investors, and entrepreneurs seeking to align ethical, social, and environmental objectives with business strategy.

The Kacirebonan Palace in Cirebon City, known for its Javanese culture, houses a unique settlement surrounded by the Balutanti Fort. Baluarti Keraton Kacirebonan blends Chinese, Colonial, and Traditional-era buildings, preserving Javanese customs and procedures. However, challenges such as lack of authority, unclear preservation concepts, reliance on government subsidies, conflicts of interest, and low community participation hinder its preservation. This study uses Combined Strategies, combining Historical Research and Qualitative Research, to analyze objects from the past and examine their relationship with architectural design. Data sources include inscriptions, writings, and local experiences. Palaces often change over time, maintaining their architectural style by comparing new buildings with old ones. The roof shape, openings, and columns of new buildings often resemble those of the old building. The chessboard pattern, used for small towns with defense, agriculture, and trade functions, is also prevalent. Social factors and cultural influences significantly influence the spatial layout of a settlement. The Kacirebonan Palace complex, located southwest of Kasepuhan Palace and 500 meters south of Kanoman Palace, spans 46,500 square meters and features a Chinese-mixing style, Colonial, and Traditional era building. Baluarti settlement, part of the palace area, has a grid pattern with small, narrow roads, following the Palace's tradition. Baluarti, a Javanese settlement, is a residence for nobles, high-ranking priyayi, and courtiers of the Kacirebonan Palace. The settlement is characterized by a magersari system, where the king gives land for Abdidalem''s residence. The social status of the Baluarti community is derived from its family line, with most citizens having titles obtained from the king. Keraton Kacirebonan''s architecture blends Colonial, Chinese, and Javanese styles, while religious beliefs, social status, and the traditional magersari system influence the Baluarti settlement's layout.

Initially, the organization was a bridge in forming a component that could be used as a member to solve a problem. The essence of a learning organization is the organization's ability to utilize the mental capacities of all its members to create the kind of process that will improve it.Organizations where people continually develop their capacity to create the results they truly desire, where new and evolving patterns of thinking are fostered, where group aspirations are given freedom, and where people are continually learning studying (learning to learn) something together, but in general organizations have become a discourse in activities that can be used as part of a group. Basically, this is because humans are social creatures, which in this context is homo socius. This fact is a natural characteristic. It is impossible for humans to live alone, apart from society, groups or living with their communities. Humans are creatures that think and can develop. Every human being has the instinct to live in society. To fulfill these various needs, humans must collaborate because they will not be able to fulfill their own needs. That is where the level of human limitations is a reflection that humans need cooperation and that forum is found in organizations.
