The phenomenon of hoaxes in the digital era has become a serious threat to social stability, democracy, and national security. Although the government has implemented various regulations, such as the Electronic Information and Transactions Law (UU ITE), the spread of hoaxes is still difficult to control. This article analyzes the development of legal awareness in overcoming hoaxes in Indonesia from a criminological perspective. With a literature study approach, this study highlights the weak legal awareness of the community as the main factor in the spread of hoaxes. Empirical studies show that political hoaxes dominate, with 55.5% of the total hoaxes identified in 2023, while 65% of hoaxes spread through closed WhatsApp groups. Criminological analysis uses several theories, such as the Theory of Crime Routines, Anomie Theory, and Differential Association Theory, which explain how weak social control and low legal culture make it easier for individuals to be involved in the spread of hoaxes. The results of this study recommend strategies to increase legal awareness through the integration of digital literacy in education, collaboration between the government and digital platforms, and strengthening policy-based regulations such as the NetzDG Law in Germany. With a systematic and data-based approach, it is hoped that public legal awareness will increase, so that it can reduce the spread of hoaxes and create a healthier and more responsible digital environment.

Character can be formed and developed which is a person's characteristic from human behavior. Character can also be influenced by various things such as the human family's own experiences, the surrounding environment, religion, and a person's personality. The aim of Community Service (PKM) in the religious sector by the KKM group 40 of Cikerai Village is to increase children's participation in the formation of religious character through positive activities, namely religious activities. This needs to be done considering technological developments and the digitalization era that is currently trending in society. This study aims to examine the impact of the use of artificial intelligence (AI) technology in learning on the understanding of material by young students. In today's digital era, AI is increasingly being adopted in educational environments, with the potential to personalize learning, increase student engagement, and accelerate the process of understanding material. This research method uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. A total of 120 students from various study programs at a university in Indonesia became research respondents, who were divided into two groups: a group that used an AI-based learning platform and a group that used conventional learning methods. Data collection was carried out through pre-tests and post-tests to measure the level of understanding of the material, as well as surveys to evaluate the learning experience. The results of the study showed that the group of students who used AI technology in learning had a more significant increase in understanding the material compared to the control group. In addition, students who used AI reported a more interactive and motivating learning experience. However, this study also found challenges, such as excessive dependence on technology and disparities in access to adequate technological devices. Based on these findings, the study recommends the integration of AI into the education curriculum in a balanced manner, considering technical and pedagogical factors to maximize the potential of AI-based learning.
