The problem in this research is that student learning outcomes are not optimal. One of the factors causing this is that the learning model used is still not varied enough and is not in accordance with the learning materials. The aim of this research is to determine student learning outcomes and the effect of using the Snowball Throwing learning model on fifth grade students' mathematics learning outcomes. The material is changing ordinary fractions to percent and vice versa. 2017/2018 Academic Year. This type of research is quasi-experimental. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 091585 AFD III Dolok Simumbah. The population of this research was all class V students at SD Negeri 091585 AFD III Dolok Sinumbah, totaling 40 students and the research sample was divided into two parallel classes. The data collection tool used is a test and the data analysis used is the normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis testing using an independent test between two factors. From the results of data analysis, it was found that student learning outcomes in the mathematics subject matter of changing ordinary fractions to percent and vice versa, after using the Snowball Throwing learning model in class V of SD Negeri 091585 AFD III Dolok Sinumbah for the 2017/2018 academic year, an average score of 86 was obtained. .31 and student learning outcomes in Mathematics subject matter of changing ordinary fractions to percent form and vice versa. After using Conventional Learning in class V of SD Negeri 091585 AFD III Dolok Sinumbah for the 2017/2018 Academic Year, an average score of 78.00 was obtained. It can be concluded that there is a significant influence of the use of the Snowball Throwing learning model on Mathematics learning outcomes, the material for changing ordinary fractions to percent and vice versa in class V of SD Negen 091585 AFD III Dolok Sinumbah 2017/2018 Academic Year
