Kaloran Village is an area characterized by steep slope topography that makes it vulnerable to landslides, especially during the rainy season with high rainfall intensity. Although the landslide risk level in this village is still relatively low and has never caused any casualties, the potential for material losses and psychosocial impacts that may arise still need to be seriously anticipated. Disaster risk reduction efforts in Kaloran Village are carried out through the Disaster Resilient Village Work Program (Destana), which aims to increase the capacity and capability of the community in facing disaster threats. The program implementation method consists of three main stages: preparation through focus group discussions (FGDs) and interviews with stakeholders, preparation of the Destana document containing mitigation strategies and steps, and community empowerment through socialization activities and preparedness training. The results of the study indicate that Kaloran Village is categorized as a Medium Resilient Village with a resilience score of 68.97. This achievement serves as an important basis for strengthening the village preparedness system, which is followed up with the establishment of the Disaster Risk Reduction Forum (FPRB) "Kaloran Tangguh Rescue" as a community coordination forum. In addition, evacuation route maps were produced, which serve as technical guidance in the event of a disaster, and the development of the Destana (Disaster Preparedness and Disaster Management) and Contingency Plan (Renkon) documents, which serve as official guidelines for disaster mitigation and management efforts at the village level. This program demonstrates that active community participation, collaboration between stakeholders, and the development of strategic documents can strengthen village preparedness for the threat of landslides.

This study aims to identify the causes of the conflict, analyze its impacts on natural resource management, and examine it through Karl Marx’s conflict theory. This research employed a qualitative method with a case study approach. Primary data were obtained through in-depth interviews with landowners, the village government, and community leaders. Secondary data were collected from official documents and related literature. Data analysis was conducted descriptively and qualitatively, referring to Karl Marx’s key concepts such as class conflict, control over the means of production, and alienation. The findings reveal that the conflict is caused by unclear land ownership status, the village government’s economic interests, lack of communication and transparency, and overlapping regulations. The impacts include hampered natural resource management and conservation, uncontrolled exploitation of resources, decreased community participation in sustainable tourism development, and potential environmental damage due to uncoordinated land use. Based on Karl Marx’s analysis, the conflict reflects class struggle between landowners as the dominant class and the village government as the managing class seeking to take over the resources. This study suggests the need for clear regulations, transparent decision-making processes, and active participation from all parties to achieve fair and sustainable natural resource management.

This research aims to examine the effect of Return on Equity (ROE), Asset Structure, and Current Ratio (CR) on Capital Structure in the company PT Mayora Indah Tbk, which is listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2015–2023. The data used in this study are secondary data obtained from the company’s annual financial reports during the research period. The research employs a quantitative approach, and the data sources are documentary in nature, focusing on publicly available financial statements. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression analysis, with data processing performed using SPSS software. This method allows the researcher to assess the impact of each independent variable on the dependent variable both partially and simultaneously. The results of the partial hypothesis testing indicate that the Return on Equity (ROE) variable has a positive and significant effect on Capital Structure, suggesting that higher profitability encourages the company to utilize more debt financing. On the other hand, the Asset Structure variable shows no significant negative effect on Capital Structure, indicating that the proportion of fixed assets does not play a decisive role in influencing capital structure in this case. Meanwhile, the Current Ratio (CR) has a negative and significant effect, implying that companies with higher liquidity tend to rely less on external debt. Simultaneously, the three variables—ROE, Asset Structure, and CR—have a significant influence on Capital Structure. These findings can serve as a reference for corporate financial management in optimizing capital structure decisions.

Abandoned mining sites often experience a decline in soil fertility, which impacts soil quality and agricultural sustainability. This study aims to explore the potential of Pseudomonas fluorescens in rehabilitating limestone mining lands and enhancing the growth of Sengon (Falcataria moluccana) trees grown in polybag media. Sengon was selected as a pioneer species due to its resilience in degraded soils and its ability to improve soil structure. This study used an experimental design involving eight different treatments, which included the application of manure and varying concentrations of Pseudomonas fluorescens. Evaluations were conducted on the 25th and 50th days by measuring plant growth parameters such as plant height, root length, and key soil chemical properties, including pH, organic carbon, total nitrogen, total phosphorus, total potassium, and cation exchange capacity (CEC). The results showed that the application of 15 mL of Pseudomonas fluorescens on day 50 resulted in optimal plant growth, as indicated by an increase in plant height, root length, and soil quality improvement. The application of Pseudomonas fluorescens also enhanced soil pH, organic carbon, total nitrogen, and cation exchange capacity, all of which contributed to the improvement of soil fertility in the limestone mining land. This study provides evidence that Pseudomonas fluorescens can play a role in the rehabilitation of abandoned mining lands and improve the growth of Sengon trees, contributing to the recovery of degraded ecosystems.

Competition in the job market has been increasing every year, demanding high-quality human resources who are capable of adapting to rapid changes in the era of Industry 5.0. However, recent findings indicate that many graduates, particularly those from the class of 2024, still lack sufficient work readiness, contributing to a relatively low work readiness rate in Indonesia. Work readiness is a crucial attribute that determines the extent to which graduates can transition smoothly from academic settings into professional environments. One of the psychological constructs believed to influence this readiness is the Adversity Quotient (AQ), which reflects an individual’s ability to withstand, adapt, and grow in the face of challenges and difficulties. The purpose of this research is to analyze the relationship between adversity quotient and work readiness among 174 final-year students of the Psychology Faculty at Universitas Negeri Padang. This study employed a quantitative research design with a purposive sampling technique. The Work Readiness variable was measured using a scale developed by the researcher based on Caballero et al. (2011), while the Adversity Quotient was measured using the adapted Adversity Response Profile scale from Stoltz (2000). Based on the results of product moment correlation analysis, findings show that the adversity quotient has a strong and positive correlation (r = 0.691) with work readiness. These results highlight the importance of strengthening resilience and adversity management skills to ensure that students are better prepared to enter the workforce with confidence and competence.

This study aims to reveal the representation of adolescents’ emotional crisis in the music video 0X1=LOVESONG (I Know I Love You) by the South Korean boy group TOMORROW X TOGETHER. Using Roland Barthes’ semiotic approach, the research analyzes the denotative, connotative, and mythical meanings of the visual elements presented in the music video. The main focus is on how emotional crises such as loneliness, instability, alienation, and inner escape are represented through visual symbols such as a dark and messy room, a burning car, and a character standing alone in an open field. The research employed a qualitative descriptive method with a critical paradigm, analyzing eight key scenes in the music video that most strongly depict emotional struggles. The scenes were selected based on their symbolic intensity and relevance to adolescent psychological issues. Data analysis was conducted by interpreting visual signs through Barthes’ concepts of denotation, connotation, and myth. The findings reveal that the music video symbolically narrates the psychological struggles of adolescents who are not only physically isolated but also emotionally detached. The visual symbols construct new meanings that represent the social reality of modern youth, burdened by environmental pressures, societal expectations, and the quest for self-identity. Through the myths it creates, the music video functions not only as a medium of entertainment but also as a reflection and critique of adolescents’ psychological vulnerability. Thus, this study contributes to the understanding of emotional representation in popular media, particularly in audio-visual forms such as music videos, while enriching perspectives on how media constructs the narrative of adolescent emotional crises.

Work stress is a prevalent and complex phenomenon frequently encountered by inpatient nurses as a result of the intense physical, emotional, and psychological demands inherent in their professional responsibilities. Nurses are required to deliver high-quality care under conditions of time pressure, emotional strain, and patient diversity, which can increase their susceptibility to stress. Individual factors—including age, gender, marital status, years of service, personality type, and self-assessment—play a crucial role in shaping nurses’ capacity to adapt to these pressures and maintain their performance. This study aims to comprehensively describe the influence of individual factors on work stress among inpatient nurses at RSUP Dr. Sitanala in 2025. Employing a quantitative descriptive design with a cross-sectional approach, a total of 34 inpatient nurses were recruited using total sampling. Data were collected using the NIOSH Job Stress Questionnaire, which measures multiple aspects of job-related stress. The results indicate that younger nurses, those with shorter work tenure, and individuals exhibiting type A personality traits are more vulnerable to experiencing high levels of stress compared to their counterparts. These findings underscore that individual characteristics significantly contribute to variations in work stress levels. The study emphasizes the importance of developing responsive human resource management strategies, such as stress management training, mentoring, and supportive work environments, to strengthen resilience and improve nurses’ well-being. By identifying and addressing these individual factors, healthcare organizations can enhance employee retention, promote patient safety, and ensure sustainable quality of care.

Alcohol abuse is a serious issue that not only affects the individual experiencing addiction but also has profound consequences for families, particularly parents. Parents often face significant emotional, social, and psychological burdens when dealing with a child struggling with alcohol dependence. This study aims to gain an in-depth understanding of parental acceptance of children with alcohol addiction. The research employed a qualitative phenomenological approach with two parents as participants, each having a child with alcohol dependence. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, which allowed for a rich exploration of personal experiences, and analyzed using the Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) technique. The thematic analysis revealed six major themes: the dynamics of parent–child interactions, emotional responses of parents, changes in the child’s behavior due to addiction, the influence of parents’ past experiences, self-harming behavior as a coping mechanism, and the normalization of the child’s behavior. Findings indicate that parents’ past experiences, including trauma and parenting patterns, strongly influenced how they accepted their child’s condition. Furthermore, maladaptive coping strategies, such as self-harm, emerged as part of the acceptance process when parents faced situations beyond their control. This study underscores the importance of trauma-informed family interventions to help parents develop healthier coping mechanisms. It also highlights the need for comprehensive psychoeducational programs that involve all family members to foster resilience and mutual support. In doing so, the research contributes to the development of more effective psychological support systems for families affected by alcohol addiction.

Floods are the most frequent natural disasters and cause material and non-material losses. One of the problems faced is the lack of early warning when floods occur. This problem can be overcome with a flood early warning system. This paper discusses the solution to this problem, namely by designing and implementing a real-time flood early warning system using IoT-based Internet of Things (IoT) technology ESP32 MQTT and APK Kodular. The objective of this research, compared to previous studies, shows a gap in the methods used. While previous studies used an IoT-based flood warning system that sends data via SMS or an HTTP server, this study applies real-time monitoring with the MQTT protocol, which allows sending water level data with low latency to the Kodular application for faster and more responsive warnings. The method used is to connect hardware with IoT where ESP32 is a client that sends data to MQTT and will display it in the Kodular APK. This flood early warning system consists of: ultrasonic sensors, ESP32, MQTT cloud, OLED, buzzer, LED, and APK on the phone to receive notifications through a mobile application created using Kodular. This IoT-based system is installed in the Kudu Regency river and can monitor water levels in real-time. Based on a predetermined threshold, the system can activate the LED indicator or buzzer and send an early warning message to the user via the APK on the phone. Test results show that this system functions effectively in providing flood warnings with an accuracy of 1-2 cm and in a timely manner, making it suitable for community-based flood monitoring solutions
