A sustainable digital economy is an economic system that integrates digital technology, social sustainability, and resource efficiency within production processes and labor distribution. Advances in information technology, automation, and artificial intelligence have transformed the structure of the global labor market and created skill disparities among workers. The unpreparedness of human resources in facing digital transformation has led to gaps in access to training, technological literacy, and equal employment opportunities. Strengthening human capital is therefore a strategic solution to maintain balance between technological progress and social justice. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach through Focus Group Discussions and literature reviews within the 2022–2025 period to analyze the interrelationships between competency development, automation implementation, and digital equity. The findings indicate that improving digital capabilities through upskilling, reskilling, and technology-based education enhances workforce resilience against disruption. Collaboration among government, industry, and educational institutions is proven to be effective in expanding training access, reducing the digital divide, and creating an inclusive and adaptive work ecosystem in the era of a sustainable digital economy.

This research explores how several monetary policy and commodities market influence the movement of the Indonesia Composite Index (IHSG). Monetary policy is a set of actions taken by the central bank to regulate the currency and the economy, variable proxy is Rupiah Exchange Rate (Jisdor) and Indonesia Overnight Index Average (indONIA). Commodity markets are places where commodities are traded in physical or futures, the needs of the world still depend on certain commodities so that commodity prices can be related to economic conditions, variable proxy of comodities market is Gold, Crude Oil WTI, Coal Newcastle. Indonesia Composite Index is a index that reflects the price movements of all stocks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The study analyzes monthly data from January 2019 to December 2023, a period before the global disruption of the COVID-19 pandemic, the period during the pandemic and the gradual economic rebound that followed. Using multiple linear regression analysis, the study assesses the direction and statistical relevance of each variable’s effect on the Indonesia Composite Index. The results suggest that Indonesia Overnight Index Average and Crude Oil WTI prices have a significant positive impact on the index, the Rupiah Exchange Rate has a significant negative impact on the index, while Gold and Coal Newcastle have no significant impact on the index. These findings can serve as a useful reference for both investors and policymakers in understanding and anticipating movements in Indonesia’s capital market, especially in relation to monetary policy and global commodity trends.

The phenomenon of teenage brawls in the Manggarai area, South Jakarta, reflects deviant actions influenced by social and cultural conditions in society. These disputes are triggered by a number of factors, such as competition between groups, lack of parental supervision, limited access to positive activities, and provocations carried out through social media platforms. In this case, Robert K. Merton's anomie theory is applied to analyze how the mismatch between social goals and legitimate means drives teenagers to take the path of violence in order to gain social recognition and group solidarity. This study applies a qualitative descriptive approach using in-depth interview techniques and participant observation of community leaders in RW 04, RW 05, and RW 12. The research findings show that brawls in Manggarai are more than just juvenile delinquent behavior, but are a form of response to social pressure and lack of opportunities for self-realization. The social consequences of these brawls include psychological trauma, social stigma, and disruption to the stability of the surrounding environment. However, the local community has tried to prevent this by implementing a religion-based approach, skills training, and strengthening coordination between regions. This study emphasizes that structural interventions and community-based approaches are key to addressing the root causes of brawls in a comprehensive and sustainable manner.

Background: Coal mining is one of the industrial sectors with broad impacts on environmental conditions and public health. Communities living near mining areas are at risk of exposure to air pollution, water contamination, ecosystem disruption, and increased disease burden, particularly respiratory illnesses. Objective: This study aims to systematically review scientific evidence on the impact of coal mining on health and the environment in communities living around mining areas in Indonesia. Methods: This literature review analyzed seven scientific publications from 2014 to 2024, obtained from university repositories and accredited national journals. Inclusion criteria included studies conducted in Indonesia, relevance to health and/or environmental issues, and complete data presentation. Each article was thematically extracted and analyzed. Results: The studies revealed that coal mining activities contribute to increased cases of ARI (acute respiratory infections), pharyngitis, digestive disorders, and even potential exposure to natural radioactivity. Environmental impacts included air pollution from coal dust, decreased water quality, and unmanaged mining residues. Some studies also highlighted significant public health costs, despite companies having obtained environmental certifications. Conclusion: The health and environmental impacts of coal mining on surrounding communities are real and multidimensional. Therefore, a cross-sectoral approach involving environmental monitoring, public education, and evidence-based policymaking is needed to minimize long-term risks.

The Geothermal Power Plant (PLTP) project in Batukuwung Village, Padarincang District, Serang Regency, has raised concerns among the community about the threat of environmental damage and the disruption of the sustainability of local agricultural systems. During this time, the community relies on traditional agriculture that is closely tied to local social, cultural and ecological values. This research aims to assess the social and ecological impacts of the PLTP project on the lives of village communities. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study, through purposive sampling techniques for in-depth interviews with affected residents, as well as online media analysis. The results show that the presence of the project has created ecological and social vulnerabilities, especially disruptions to water and land access, and narrowed the space for community participation in decision-making. The findings show that the clean energy narrative is not always in line with the reality on the ground. This research emphasizes the importance of the principles of ecological justice and local community sovereignty in energy development policies, especially in areas that depend on natural sustainability.

The micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) sector plays a vital role in sustaining the national economy, particularly in food security and employment absorption. However, this sector remains highly vulnerable to economic disruptions, including large-scale layoffs in the industrial sector. This study aims to examine the socio-economic impacts of layoffs on the sustainability of traditional fish processing businesses. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through semi-structured interviews with a traditional fish processor who has operated since 1990 in Tanjung Morawa, Deli Serdang, North Sumatra. The findings reveal that layoffs have led to a significant decline in consumer purchasing power, resulting in a drop in daily production volume (from 20 to 5–8 baskets) and increased waste due to unsold inventory. The lack of innovation, absence of adaptive strategies, and minimal external support have further exacerbated the business’s vulnerability. Therefore, policy interventions and capacity-building programs are essential to enhance the resilience of MSMEs amid labor market fluctuations.

A landslide that occurred on May 24, 2024, in Pekon Datarajan, Ulubelu District, Tanggamus, Lampung, caused significant disruption to provincial road access and resulted in material losses. This study aims to assess the post-failure slope stability through field geotechnical investigation and numerical analysis using the Limit Equilibrium Method (LEM), and to propose immediate countermeasures. The slope materials consist of MH (inorganic silt) and ML (elastic silt) with high moisture content and moderate to high swelling potential. The lithology is dominated by montmorillonite clay, which has hygroscopic characteristics, making it highly vulnerable to water infiltration that reduces shear strength and increases the risk of slope failure. Stability analysis indicates a post-failure factor of safety (FoS) of 1.36 (static loading) and 1.03 (dynamic loading), which decreases to 1.07 beneath raised groundwater conditions. Recommended immediate mitigation includes surface runoff control, the construction of impermeable drainage systems, the sealing of cracks using impermeable materials, and the installation of temporary slope reinforcements such as sheet piles. The implementation of these measures increased the FoS to 1.61 (static loading) and 1.16 (dynamic loading). This study provides a technical basis for the rapid and effective mitigation of landslides in areas with similar geological and hydrological conditions.

This research aims to examine the impact of thrifting on the economic condition of clothing traders in Pasar Lasoani, to identify the factors that make thrifting a threat to these traders, to find solutions that traders can implement in facing competition with thrifted products, and to understand the Islamic economic perspective on thrifting practices in Pasar Lasoani. This study uses a qualitative research method, which is intended to describe and explain events or phenomena occurring in the field and to present data systematically, factually, and accurately regarding the facts or phenomena observed. The data for this study were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. The thrifting phenomenon has had a significant impact on the economy of clothing traders in Pasar Lasoani. On the positive side, this trend has increased income for traders who sell thrifted items due to their affordable prices and attractive variety. However, on the negative side, thrifting reduces the competitiveness of new and local clothing traders, thereby creating economic imbalances in the market. The increase in secondhand clothing imports is also perceived as a threat to the demand for new products, especially due to the strong interest of young consumers in branded clothes at low prices. To improve competitiveness, new clothing traders need to implement strategies such as price adjustments, product quality improvement, utilization of digital marketing, and consumer education on the advantages of new clothing. From an Islamic economic perspective, the practice of thrifting is permissible as long as it fulfills the pillars and legal conditions of buying and selling, namely clarity of the product, mutual agreement on price, and absence of excessive gharar (uncertainty). According to the school of Imam Malik, this practice is valid if the existing gharar is minor, unavoidable, and conducted with honesty, fairness, and transparency. Therefore, thrifting transactions in Pasar Lasoani can be considered in line with the principles of sharia.

This study aims to identify evidence of Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) Spoofing attacks in the form of the attacker's and victim's Media Access Control (MAC) addresses, as well as the time of the attack. With the increasing use of computer networks, ARP Spoofing attacks have become a serious threat that can lead to data theft, communication interception, and service disruption. ARP Spoofing can serve as a means to launch more complex attacks, such as Denial of Service (DoS) and Man in the Middle (MITM), which can cripple network systems and steal sensitive information. This study utilizes the Wireshark tool to monitor network traffic, specifically ARP, and applies the National Institute of Justice (NIJ) method as a framework for forensic investigation. The NIJ method was chosen because it provides a systematic approach to identifying, collecting, analyzing, and reporting digital evidence, enabling enhanced attack mitigation and supporting legal aspects in network security investigations. The specific approaches used in this forensic analysis include log analysis, packet capture and analysis using Wireshark, and traffic correlation to identify attack patterns based on time and involved devices. The attack simulation was conducted on Personal Computer (PC) 1 and a routerboard, where communication between these two devices was redirected through the attacker. Based on the test results, it was found that every device in the network experienced ARP Spoofing attacks, which could be detected and analyzed using the NIJ method. The contribution of this study is to provide a more systematic approach to forensic network investigations using the NIJ method, which not only aids in attack detection but also establishes a strong foundation for mitigation actions and legal enforcement in computer network security.

The implementation of a 32% reciprocal import tariff by the United States in April 2025, targeting Indonesian palm oil, reflects an intensifying global trend of trade protectionism. As one of Indonesia’s top export commodities, palm oil was severely affected by the policy, revealing the structural fragility of the country’s export-dependent economy. The tariff led to immediate disruptions in trade flows, price competitiveness, and employment across the palm oil supply chain. This study aims to analyze the economic impact of the U.S. tariff policy on Indonesia’s palm oil industry and to examine the government’s policy responses in mitigating these effects. The research also seeks to identify strategic lessons for improving trade resilience in the face of unilateral trade measures. The study adopts a qualitative descriptive approach, integrating macroeconomic analysis and international trade theory. It uses secondary data from trade statistics, government reports, and international institutions, combined with conceptual frameworks including global value chain theory, comparative advantage, and trade policy response models. The findings indicate that the tariff caused a 22.5% decline in export value and a 24.9% drop in volume within the first quarter after implementation. Approximately 17,000 workers were affected, and investor confidence weakened due to disruptions in downstream value chains. In response, the Indonesian government launched a five-pillar strategy covering trade diplomacy, market diversification, regulatory reform, fiscal support, and digital service trade bargaining. These findings highlight the urgent need for structural transformation, value-added industrial development, and adaptive trade governance to strengthen Indonesia’s long-term economic resilience.
