The competitiveness of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia often faces obstacles due to limited product packaging that fails to adequately reflect product quality, uniqueness, and brand identity. Packaging is not merely a protective container but also a strategic communication tool that influences consumer perceptions, shapes brand image, and supports market expansion. This community service program was carried out at the Banana Chips MSME “Bu Tini” in Semarang, which previously relied on simple plastic packaging without graphic design, brand logo, or product information. The main objective of this program was to assist the MSME in developing both the design and functional aspects of packaging as a strategic effort to strengthen branding, enhance product value, and improve competitiveness. The methodology applied was community-based and participatory, consisting of field observation, focus group discussions, collaborative design with the business owner, and prototype testing of new packaging. The results demonstrate that the redesigned packaging highlights a stronger visual identity through logos, colors, and slogans, while also ensuring practicality, durability, and compliance with food safety standards. Furthermore, the new packaging improved information clarity regarding composition, expiration date, and producer details, which significantly increased consumer trust in hygiene and quality. From a broader perspective, the activity fostered social transformation by raising awareness among the owner and workers about the importance of branding and professional packaging, developing new skills, and positioning the MSME as a role model for similar businesses in the community. This program implies that packaging development is not solely a visual improvement but a strategic branding instrument that can support MSMEs in achieving sustainability and greater competitiveness in local, regional, and potentially digital markets.

Bali Province has a high population density, which has the potential to affect the distribution of infectious diseases such as diarrhea. However, mapping the distribution of diarrhea cases based on population density is still limited and does not meet good cartographic principles. Therefore, this study aims to present data on the distribution of diarrhea cases based on population density in Bali Province during the 2020-2022 period. This study used an analytic observational method with a cross-sectional design. The data used were secondary data from the Bali Province Health Profile and the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) for 2020-2022. Data analysis was carried out using geographic mapping with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and statistical tests in the form of multiple linear regression and Spearman correlation. The results showed an increase in the strength of the relationship between population density and the number of diarrhea cases, as indicated by the rho value which increased from 0.1833 in 2020 to 0.6000 in 2022. However, this relationship was not statistically significant (p-value > 0.05), indicating that population density is not the only factor contributing to the increase in diarrhea cases. Other factors such as sanitation, access to clean water, and public awareness in maintaining hygiene also play a role in the spread of this disease. Although there is a trend that an increase in population density in Bali goes hand in hand with an increase in diarrhea cases, this relationship is not statistically strong enough. Therefore, a multidisciplinary approach is needed to address diarrhea cases, including improved sanitation facilities, public health education, as well as strengthening the spatial data-based disease monitoring system.

This study aims to examine how behavior modification in orphanage adolescents through the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) method can enhance awareness of hygiene and health, particularly at Al-Munasaroh Orphanage. The research adopts an action research or intervention-based approach using qualitative methods. It emphasizes the analysis of behavioral changes through direct field observations and in-depth interviews, focusing on the quality and impact of behavioral modification among adolescents. The intervention was designed to address the lack of awareness regarding personal hygiene, environmental cleanliness, and health routines commonly found in institutionalized adolescents. The study investigates the various factors that influence the success of behavior modification, including internal motivation, emotional regulation, and external support from caregivers, peers, and the living environment. The CBT-based modification process spanned 18 structured sessions, which included psychoeducation, cognitive restructuring, role-playing, habit formation, and reinforcement techniques. Additionally, environmental improvements and the availability of hygiene-related facilities were integrated to support the desired behavioral outcomes.  Findings reveal significant changes in daily hygiene practices among participants, such as increased frequency of handwashing, tidiness in personal belongings, regular bathing, and active participation in cleaning shared spaces. The support of peers and caregivers played a crucial role in maintaining consistency and motivation. The study concludes that CBT is an effective method for fostering awareness and instilling sustainable hygiene behaviors in adolescents living in orphanages. Based on these results, recommendations are proposed for integrating CBT-based hygiene programs into routine care at orphanages to promote long-term behavioral change and health awareness.

A healthy latrine is one of the essential sanitation facilities aimed at maintaining environmental health and improving public health in general. This research was conducted because the use of healthy latrines in Webetun Village remains low, where defecating in the forest has become a common practice among the community. This habit triggers the emergence of diseases such as diarrhea, malnutrition, undernutrition, dengue fever, and respiratory infections. This study aims to examine the behavior of latrine use in households in Webetun Village, Rinhat Subdistrict, Malaka Regency. This research uses a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design. The study involved 66 housewives who owned healthy latrines, selected through simple random sampling. Data analysis was conducted using the chi-square test. The results showed that variables such as latrine ownership (p=0.000) and water availability (p=0.000) were significantly associated with latrine use, while knowledge (p=0.681), attitude (p=0.588), actions (p=0.007), community leader support (p=0.081), and health worker support (p=0.069) were not significantly associated with latrine use. The findings revealed that water availability significantly influences latrine use. The availability of water facilitates family members in utilizing latrine facilities for activities such as flushing and maintaining cleanliness. Water availability also contributes to user comfort in maintaining latrine hygiene. Conversely, water scarcity hinders optimal latrine use by family members, potentially reducing utilization levels. The study findings also identified a correlation between latrine ownership and its use. Families are considered critical factors in shaping individual health behavior. The relationship between proper latrine ownership and usage behavior can be seen through the role of education in increasing awareness levels for adopting a healthy and clean lifestyle.

Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) is one of the preventive efforts in maintaining individual health, with washing hands with soap (CTPS) as one of its main aspects. Elementary school children are among the groups that are vulnerable to disease due to lack of awareness of cleanliness, so socialization is needed to increase their understanding of the importance of CTPS. This study aims to socialize PHBS and how to do CTPS to students of SD 7 Nisam, North Aceh, through interactive educational methods. The activities were carried out by presenting material using PowerPoint, interactive discussions, direct practice of the six steps of CTPS according to WHO standards, and evaluation through questionnaires before and after the activity. The results of the activity showed that the method applied succeeded in increasing students' understanding of the importance of washing hands with soap. Students were more enthusiastic in participating in activities when given an interesting approach that was appropriate for their age. In addition, the involvement of teachers and schools in providing supporting facilities contributed to the success of this program. With this socialization, it is hoped that students can apply the habit of washing their hands independently and consistently, both at school and at home, so that it can reduce the incidence of infectious diseases related to hand hygiene.

The lack of knowledge, attitudes, and actions among children regarding dental and oral health care is due to the lack of health education. One way to improve this is through education using videos and mentoring. Most adolescents in Gentan Village have dental and oral health problems, with the target of dental and oral health in adolescents only reaching 70%, indicating relatively low dental and oral health levels. This service aims to provide education through audiovisual media and mentoring to adolescents about dental and oral health care, increase knowledge, and provide an understanding of the parts of the teeth, as well as how to properly brush teeth, including brushing the front, sides, chewing surfaces, deep parts, and tongue. Maintaining personal hygiene during menstruation is crucial to prevent infections in the reproductive system. Many young women still have limited knowledge regarding proper hygiene practices during menstruation. This lack of awareness can lead to health issues, such as infections in the reproductive tract and other complications. An effective educational approach is needed to enhance the understanding of young women, one of which could be through animated video content. Animated videos as an educational tool have the advantage of delivering information in a visually engaging, simple, and easy-to-understand manner, making them more effective in improving knowledge about personal hygiene during menstruation. This study aims to assess the impact of animated video education on female students' knowledge of personal hygiene during menstruation.
