Data shows that motor development disorders are experienced by 5-10% of children in the world. Disrupted motor development can be an indirect cause of increased morbidity, poverty and in the long term can hamper the country's development. One effort to prevent gross motor delays in children is by stimulating them from infancy, for example by doing baby gym exercises. The aim of this research was to determine the effect of a baby gym on gross motor development in babies aged 3-4 months. The research design uses a quasi-experimental with control group design. The intervention group is the group that carries out the baby gym. Meanwhile, the control group did not do the baby gym. Data analysis used the Mann Whitney test. The population in this study were all babies aged 3-4 months at PMB Andina Palembang. The sampling technique used a total sampling of 24 respondents who were divided into 12 intervention group respondents and 12 control group respondents. The research results showed that the average gross motor development in the intervention group after baby gym training for 2 weeks showed faster gross motor development compared to babies in the control group who were not given intervention. Meanwhile, the p value obtained was 0.001, meaning that there was a difference in gross motor development in babies who were stimulated with baby gym exercises and babies in the control group who were not given any intervention. It is recommended for health workers to intensify education about stimulating gross motor development in babies, one of which is by doing a baby gym.

The aim of the research was to determine the effectiveness of ginger aromatherapy and warm compresses on menstrual pain in adolescents. The research design uses a quasi-experimental with control group design. The intervention group was given ginger aromatherapy and warm compresses on the first day of menstruation, while the control group was not given any intervention. Data analysis used the Mann Whitney test. The population in this study were all class IX female students at Sriwijaya Middle School, Palembang. The sampling technique used purposive sampling totaling 30 respondents. The menstrual pain scale uses the Numeric Ratting Scale (NRS). The results of the Mann Whitney test obtained a p value of 0.001, meaning that there was a difference in the pain scale in the intervention group that was given ginger aromatherapy and warm compresses for menstrual pain in teenagers compared to the control group that was not given the intervention. World Health Organization (WHO) 41% of pregnant women worldwide experience anemia. Overall, the prevalence of anemia in pregnant women in developed countries is 49% and in developing countries it is 53%. In Indonesia, the rate of anemia in pregnant women is quite high, namely 48.9%. Anemia that is commonly experienced by pregnant women is iron deficiency anemia. Iron is needed in hemopoesis (blood formation), namely in the synthesis of hemoglobin. Iron absorption can be increased by consuming ± 25 mg of vitamin C sources in food. The aim of the research was to determine the difference in the effectiveness of papaya and red guava on hemoglobin levels in pregnant women with anemia. The research was conducted at the Nagaswidak Community Health Center in June 2024 using a quasi-experimental two group pretest and posttest. The population in this study were all pregnant women who were in the working area of the Nagaswidak Palembang Community Health Center in May 2024 with Hb levels of 9 – 10.9 gr/dl. The sampling technique used purposive sampling totaling 30 respondents. The results of the Wilcoxon test research showed that the effect of papaya (p value 0.000) and guava (p value 0.000) was obtained. The results of the Mann Whitney union obtained a p value of 0.116. There is an effect of papaya on hemoglobin levels in pregnant women, there is an effect of guava on hemoglobin levels. There is no difference in the effect of papaya and guava on hemoglobin levels in pregnant women at the Nagaswidak Community Health Center. It is hoped that health workers will increase education regarding the prevention of anemia in pregnant women, one of which is by consuming vitamin C in fruit.

The prevalence of stunting in toddlers remains a significant global health concern, particularly in developing countries. This literature review aimed to examine the effectiveness of self-care practices in families with stunted toddlers and identify successful intervention strategies. A systematic search was conducted across three major databases: PubMed, Scopus, and Google Scholar, yielding 48 articles, of which 15 met the inclusion criteria. The review revealed that successful interventions typically incorporated comprehensive educational programs, strong community health worker engagement, robust family support systems, and integration with existing healthcare infrastructure. Key findings highlighted the importance of cultural adaptation, family empowerment, and community involvement in stunting prevention programs. Implementation barriers included resource limitations, cultural beliefs, knowledge gaps, and healthcare access challenges. The studies, particularly from Indonesian contexts, demonstrated that culturally adapted, family-centered interventions yielded significant improvements in child growth outcomes and family self-care practices. However, limitations in study duration and scope suggest the need for more long-term research to evaluate intervention sustainability. This review provides valuable insights for healthcare providers and policymakers in developing effective stunting prevention strategies.

Introduction: According to the Indonesian Health Profile (2021), preeclampsia or eclampsia, bleeding, and COVID-19 caused the highest number of maternal deaths in 2021. In 2022, the maternal mortality rate in Indonesia reached 183 deaths per 100,000 live births, with preeclampsia as the main cause. One of the most common maternal health problems in Indonesia is preeclampsia, which has a high incidence rate and causes dangerous complications for the mother and baby. Research and prevention efforts continue to be needed to reduce maternal mortality in Indonesia. Apart from disorders during pregnancy, we as academics who continue to be pro-active in community service activities in our field, must also pay attention to post-partum health. The incidence of postpartum blues in Indonesia will reach 50-70% in 2023. According to WHO, around 10% of pregnant women and 13% of new mothers experience mental health disorders, especially depression. Risk factors that increase the possibility of postpartum blues are the mother's young age, lack of support from her husband, and a difficult economic situation. Method: The method used in this activity is lecture and discussion, using power points and leaflets. Target: Women of Childbearing Age (WUS), pregnant women and post partum mothers. Results: After the educational activity, participants asked several questions, such as how to know whether a pregnant woman is experiencing problems, how many times should she have an examination, and what should the family do if the mother seems stressed after giving birth. With the aim of improving the welfare of pregnant women and babies, Family Centered Maternity Care (FCMC) is a midwifery approach that involves the family. This approach provides good social support to pregnant women, which can help them deal with stress and anxiety that may occur during pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period. In addition, pregnant women and their families are given the opportunity to actively participate in decision-making regarding health care, so that they can take responsibility for their own health. Conclusion: When Women of Childbearing Age (WUS) have good knowledge, attitudes and behavior, they will produce a generation of healthy and intelligent children. Health workers and the public must pay attention to the four Ts: too young, too old, too much, and too close. Antenatal visits and postpartum visits, which are types of physical examinations during pregnancy, are well carried out in first-level health facilities.
