Fishermen are an essential group in supporting national food security; however, their lives are still characterized by various social and economic challenges, such as unstable income, low education levels, and high household expenditure burdens. This research aims to provide an overview of the socio-economic conditions and welfare of Bouke Ami fishermen in the Nusantara Fisheries Port (PPN) Muara Angke, North Jakarta, through the Fishermen’s Exchange Rate (NTN) and Fishermen’s Exchange Rate Index (iNTN). The study was conducted in May–June 2025 using a descriptive method with quantitative and qualitative approaches. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and questionnaires distributed to 100 Bouke Ami crew members (ABK). The results showed that the majority of crew members were aged 30–39 years, had completed only junior high school education, received health services through community health centers (puskesmas), had three family dependents, and most lived in their own homes. The average total monthly income of Rp5.733.500 is considered high as it exceeds the 2025 DKI Jakarta minimum wage (UMP) of Rp5.367.381. Meanwhile, the average total expenditure of Rp5.396.761 remains below income, indicating manageable household finances. The NTN value was 1,06 in April and 1,07 in May, resulting in an iNTN of 101%, indicating that Bouke Ami fishermen in PPN Muara Angke, North Jakarta, are at a level of economic welfare classified as prosperous with slight improvement. This increase reflects a modest rise in fishermen’s purchasing power between the two months and can serve as basis for formulating policies aimed at empowering coastal fishermen.

The study of usury in Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh) of muamalah maliyah is crucial as it helps determine whether a transaction is permissible in Islamic business and finance. If a transaction involves elements of usury, it is considered prohibited (haram) under Islamic law. This research uses a library research method, analyzing secondary data from books, articles, and journals to review the dangers of riba from an economic perspective. The study reveals that riba occurs in sale and purchase transactions when goods or prices are manipulated, leading to unfair advantages for one party. Riba includes both usury fadl (excessive goods) and nasi'ah (delayed payment) and is prohibited in Islam, as stated in the Qur'an, Sunnah, and Ijma'. Allah's prohibition of usury aims to protect the welfare of society, and violating this law brings harm not only in this world but also in the afterlife. The widespread practice of usury contributes to economic inequality, inflation, economic stagnation, crises, and increasing debt burdens.

Indonesia faces significant challenges in achieving sustainable development, particularly due to the negative environmental impacts of rapid economic growth, such as deforestation, air and water pollution, and the increase in greenhouse gas emissions. Green Bonds have great potential as a financial instrument to promote sustainable development in Indonesia. Indonesia is actively working to develop the market through key policies such as the Financial Services Authority Regulation (POJK) No. 51/POJK.03/2017, which regulates the issuance and offering of sustainable bonds, thus enhancing the suitability of green bonds to finance environmentally friendly projects. The research method used in this study is a normative legal approach with a focus on laws and regulations (UU) and a library research method. Through this approach, the study analyzes relevant regulations and existing literature to explore the potential and challenges Indonesia faces in implementing green bonds, particularly in the infrastructure investment sector. The implementation of green bond investments in Indonesia, especially in the infrastructure sector, is a strategic step in line with efforts to achieve sustainable development. To achieve this, Indonesia must also consider integrating green bonds into broader development policies. This includes developing strategies that combine economic, social, and environmental aspects in the planning and implementation of infrastructure projects.

This study examines the strategic role of the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) of the Republic of Indonesia in ensuring transparent, accountable, and aligned state financial management in line with national goals. As an independent state institution, the BPK has a constitutional mandate to audit state financial management and accountability objectively and free from intervention by any party. This study uses a legal method with a normative juridical approach, accompanied by descriptive analysis and systematic interpretation of data from literature studies. The results show that the BPK has broad authority in auditing state finances, both for the central government, regional governments, and other public institutions. However, its implementation still faces obstacles such as a lack of internal transparency, overlap with internal government oversight, and limited resources for comprehensive oversight. To address these issues, the BPK needs to strengthen its internal systems, increase auditor capacity, develop more systematic audit result reporting guidelines, and build cross-agency coordination to make its external oversight function more effective, transparent, and capable of supporting clean and integrated governance.

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a vital role in Indonesia’s economy, yet their failure rate remains high due to weak business planning and the absence of systematic feasibility studies. University business incubator laboratories are expected to assist prospective entrepreneurs in conducting comprehensive feasibility analyses, but evaluations are often performed manually and subjectively. This study aims to design a Business Feasibility Information System to support business incubator laboratories in achieving more objective, efficient, and documented assessments. The research employs a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) model, encompassing stages of requirement analysis, system design, and conceptual validation. The system is designed to evaluate four key aspects of business feasibility: market, production, human resources, and finance. The result is a conceptual system prototype that integrates all aspects into a unified assessment framework. The findings indicate that the proposed system enhances the effectiveness of incubator laboratories in evaluating and assisting tenants objectively while fostering digital entrepreneurship literacy. The study implies that information technology integration is essential for strengthening MSME sustainability and decision-making in Indonesia.

The low level of financial literacy among students, especially Generation Z, has become a serious concern that requires solutions to face the increasingly complex challenges of the modern economy. Many students still do not fully understand the importance of financial management and continue to exhibit high consumer behavior due to the lack of financial education provided from an early age. This community service activity aims to enhance students' understanding of the importance of financial literacy through the habit of saving, which can be started at a young age as a form of simple yet highly effective financial management. The methods used in this activity include interactive lectures, pocket money management simulations, group discussions, and educational quizzes designed to increase students' active participation. The results of the activity show an increase in students' awareness of the importance of saving, as well as their ability to manage personal finances in a more directed, wise, and responsible manner in everyday life. This study aims to integrate Prophetic guidance (Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad into the development of a Maqāṣid-Based Budgeting Framework, focusing on the balance between efficiency and social responsibility in Islamic financial management. Using a qualitative thematic approach to relevant hadiths on trust (amānah), professionalism (itqān), prohibition of extravagance (isrāf), and distributive justice, the study reveals that efficiency in Islam extends beyond cost reduction toward the optimization of maslahah ‘āmmah (public welfare). Meanwhile, social responsibility serves as an ethical foundation ensuring fairness, transparency, and accountability in fiscal decision-making. The integration of Prophetic values with theories of Islamic Fiscal Management and Public Finance Efficiency enhances the conceptual strength of Islamic budgeting as a model of balanced financial governance. Thus, budgeting in the maqāṣid and Prophetic perspective is not merely a technical instrument but also a spiritual and social tool for achieving just, efficient, and ethically grounded financial management.

This study aims to analyze the perceptions of teachers at Pondok Pesantren Assalafiyah Nurul Hidayah Pangkalpinang regarding Islamic banking. Despite the religious background of the teachers, the findings reveal that the majority still use conventional banks due to limited knowledge about Islamic banking principles, lack of socialization, and practical reasons such as convenience and proximity. The research uses a qualitative descriptive method involving 21 teachers through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The results indicate that while the teachers have a generally positive view of Islamic banking, their understanding remains partial, particularly regarding profit-sharing mechanisms, riba prohibition, and Islamic financial products. Moreover, their interest in saving at Islamic banks is potential but requires further education and socialization to encourage real participation. This research highlights the need for more proactive promotion and financial literacy programs from Islamic banking institutions to increase public awareness, especially among religious educators, regarding the use of sharia-compliant financial services.

This study provides a detailed equity analysis of the Deli Serdang Regency local government by evaluating its financial statements from 2020 to 2023 and interpreting results through the lens of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and public sector accounting principles. The analysis examines trends in assets, liabilities, and equity, computes key financial ratios, and discusses implications for fiscal sustainability, transparency, and governance. The study combines quantitative ratio and trend analyses with a qualitative review of notes to the financial statements and a reconciliation exercise mapping local government reporting (SAP/APBD disclosures) to IFRS/IPSAS concepts. Findings (illustrative data) show a positive but modest growth in equity, persistent dependence on intergovernmental transfers, and opportunities to improve asset valuation and liability recognition practices. The paper concludes with practical recommendations for policy-makers and local finance managers and suggests a road map for incremental IFRS-aligned reporting in the local government context.

This research examines the effect of current ratio and company size on profit growth in food and beverage sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2015 to 2023. All companies in this sub-sector are the research population, with sample selection using purposive techniques based on certain criteria. A total of 72 observation data were analyzed using a quantitative approach through multiple linear regression. Data were obtained from the annual financial reports that have been officially published. The results of the analysis show that the current ratio does not have a significant effect on profit growth, indicating that the level of liquidity does not always contribute directly to profitability. On the other hand, company size has a significant effect, indicating that a larger operational scale and the availability of adequate resources have a positive impact on profit performance. These findings are expected to be a reference in making corporate financial decisions and considerations for further research in the field of corporate finance.

Law Number 31 of 1999 in conjunction with Law Number 20 of 2001 concerning Eradication of Corruption Crimes (Tipikor Law) requires the existence of state financial losses as an important element in Article 2 paragraph (1) and Article 3. Following Constitutional Court Decision No. 25/PUU-XIV/2016, proof of state losses must be actual losses, rather than potential losses. However, in practice, there is a discrepancy between legal norms and the reality of law enforcement, especially in state-owned enterprises (SOEs) engaged in banking. There is disharmony between the Anti-Corruption Law, the State Finance Law, and the SOE Law, particularly regarding the financial status of SOEs as separate state assets. This study uses a normative legal method with a statute approach. The results show that proving state financial losses in banking SOEs related to corruption requires an examination by an authorised institution to declare state financial losses. Based on Article 10 paragraph (1) of Law No. 15 of 2006 concerning the Audit Board, it is explained that the Audit Board has the authority to determine the existence or absence of state losses. The audit process carried out by the Audit Board on state-owned banking enterprises suspected of causing state financial losses must be an investigative audit process, not a state loss calculation audit that is usually carried out on government institutions.

Sharia based financial technology (fintech) that integrates educational features and securities crowdfunding is considered a strategic approach to address the low levels of Islamic financial literacy and inclusion in Indonesia. This article aims to examine how the integration of Islamic financial education and the use of sharia-compliant securities crowdfunding platforms can serve as an effective model to enhance public participation especially among MSMEs and younger demographics in the Islamic financial ecosystem. The study employs a literature review and case analysis based on recent scholarly works and industry reports. Findings indicate that fintech platforms equipped with interactive financial education modules and sharia investment simulations can significantly improve public understanding of Islamic financial principles and products. Moreover, sharia-based securities crowdfunding offers participatory investment opportunities while promoting ethical and halal economic activities. Nonetheless, challenges remain in regulatory alignment, sharia compliance verification, and public trust. Therefore, collaboration among regulators, industry players, and educational institutions is essential to foster an inclusive, transparent, and sustainable Islamic fintech ecosystem. This model is expected to be an innovative solution to expand access to Islamic financial services while strengthening public literacy and confidence in Islamic finance.
