This study aims to analyze the effect of the inflation rate on the number of Wismanto Indonesia Via Air Gateway. The data used covers the period from January 2017 to September 2024, focusing on the relationship between inflation as a macroeconomic factor and the number of tourists visiting Indonesia. The data analysis used in this study is regression analysis, supported by descriptive analysis of each variable. The regression analysis results show that the inflation rate has a significant positive effect on the number of international tourist arrivals. The regression coefficient of 156,266 indicates that every 1% increase in inflation has the potential to increase the number of international tourists by 156,266 individuals. The significance value of 0.000 indicates that this relationship is statistically significant at the 95% confidence level. These findings provide an understanding that although inflation is often associated with rising prices of goods and services, in the context of Indonesian tourism, inflation can be linked to other factors, such as exchange rate fluctuations, which increase Indonesia's appeal as a tourist destination. This study recommends that the government and stakeholders in the tourism sector consider the impact of inflation in tourism development strategies, while maintaining economic stability and international competitiveness. Further studies are recommended to explore other mediating variables, such as exchange rates and tourism promotion policies, in order to understand this relationship more comprehensively.

This research aims to develop the potential of ecotourism based on local wisdom in the mangrove forest area of Tapak, Semarang City. The methods used include field observation, interviews with local stakeholders, and qualitative data analysis. The results show that local wisdom plays an important role in managing the mangrove ecosystem and improving community welfare. Traditional practices applied by the local community are effective in maintaining environmental balance and addressing threats of abrasion and pollution. The Tapak mangrove area faces significant challenges, including coastal erosion and industrial waste pollution, which threaten the ecosystem's sustainability. However, the local community has developed various initiatives based on local wisdom for mitigation and conservation. Collective mangrove planting, the use of natural materials in pond management, and the implementation of zoning systems are some practices that have shown positive results. The development of ecotourism in this area not only has the potential to increase local income but also to strengthen environmental awareness among the community and visitors. Recommendations from this study include enhancing community capacity in ecotourism management, strengthening zoning systems, and promoting ecotourism based on local wisdom. Training and empowering the community in aspects of tourism guidance and sustainable resource management are key to ensuring the long-term success of this ecotourism. Therefore, sustainable and community-based ecotourism management strategies need to be continuously developed and supported by various parties to preserve the mangrove ecosystem and improve the welfare of the local community.

This quantitative study uses SmartPLS3 to analyze the main issues related to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on MICE (Meeting, Incentive, Convention, and Exhibition) business actors, as well as the role of the hybrid model in maintaining the sustainability of MICE activities in Indonesia. This study focuses on five representative cities that are the main targets of MICE activities according to the government's strategic plan, namely Jakarta, Bogor, Bali, Yogyakarta, and Malang. The COVID-19 pandemic that has hit various countries, including Indonesia, for more than a year, has brought major challenges. The tourism and MICE sectors are among the most affected, with many business actors forced to stop their operations and switch to alternative sectors such as culinary, agriculture, and plantations as a means of survival. However, the emergence of the hybrid model has become an important solution for the MICE sector. Some alternative solutions adopted during the pandemic include organizing virtual MICE events, virtual tourism, webinars, and meetings through platforms such as Google Meet and Zoom. Teleconferencing has also become an important tool to maintain engagement. These adaptations highlight the increasing reliance on advanced technology to ensure the sustainability of the MICE industry. The implementation of these activities requires high creativity and quality in order to run well. This change emphasizes the importance of continuous innovation and utilization of technology by MICE industry players to navigate the ever-evolving landscape.

Through a qualitative method, we selected sources of articles found in databases in journals spread across various indexes and other sources. The research process began with literature mapping related to the role of the Blue Economy in increasing the income of coastal communities through optimizing fisheries resources, published in the last five years (2020-2024). Furthermore, group discussions were held to deepen the content analysis of the selected literature. The main objective of this research was to provide comprehensive information from the literature related to Blue Economy studies in economics and development. Thailand, a developing country in Southeast Asia, is striving to enhance its value and position on the world stage through the tourism industry. A country with a majority Buddhist population, Thailand is developing Halal Tourism as a new strategy to attract Muslim travelers. The development of halal tourism in Thailand is driven not only by economic motives but also non-economic considerations. Economically, the Thai government aims to open new destinations and expand the market to meet Muslim tourists' needs. A unique aspect is that Thailand has a minority Muslim population with a history of tension, especially in the Southern region. The government involves Southern Thai communities in halal tourism development, demonstrating efforts to create an inclusive society. This strategy is expected to ease political tensions that have existed due to economic disparities. By involving minority groups in tourism development, the Thai government hopes to achieve long-term peace and improve the country's positive image. The approach represents a strategic attempt to transform potential conflict zones into economic opportunities, using tourism as a tool for social integration and economic development.
