Poultry agribusiness is a key driver of food security and rural economic development in developing countries. However, the sector remains vulnerable to infectious diseases such as avian influenza and Newcastle disease, which can disrupt production systems and supply chain continuity. Although previous studies have examined poultry disease control, biosecurity, and supply chain disruption, evidence on how risk and crisis communication supports outbreak management and resilience in developing-country poultry agribusiness remains fragmented. This study applied a systematic literature review (SLR) approach under PRISMA guidelines to synthesize risk and crisis communication strategies in poultry disease management and their contribution to supply chain resilience. Only seven relevant studies published between 2020 and 2025 met the inclusion criteria and were analyzed using the PICO framework. Quality assessment using the Mixed Methods Appraisal Tool (MMAT), combined with systematic data extraction in Microsoft Excel 2021, was conducted to improve methodological transparency and consistency. The novelty of this review lies in integrating communication strategies, enabling and constraining factors, digital tools, One Health perspectives, and public–private collaboration within a single analytical synthesis. The findings indicate that participatory, transparent, and coordinated communication can support disease prevention and crisis preparedness, particularly when strengthened by stakeholder trust, policy support, training, and accessible information channels. However, limited digital literacy, inadequate infrastructure, and cultural barriers may reduce communication effectiveness. Overall, this review highlights the need for inclusive communication systems and collaborative governance to strengthen poultry supply chain resilience in developing countries, while recognizing that the small evidence base limits broad generalization.

Heat stress is a major constraint in broiler production systems located in humid tropical climates, where high ambient temperature and relative humidity impair growth performance, feed efficiency, and animal welfare. This systematic review synthesizes peer-reviewed studies published between January 2015 and December 2025 evaluating environmental housing designs and cooling strategies for mitigating heat stress in broiler chickens. This systematic review followed the PRISMA 2020 guidelines and synthesized peer-reviewed studies retrieved from Scopus, Web of Science, and ScienceDirect, published between January 2015 and December 2025. From 500 records initially identified, 26 studies fulfilled the predefined eligibility criteria and were included in the qualitative synthesis. The findings demonstrate that evaporative cooling systems, tunnel ventilation, and automated climate control technologies consistently reduced indoor temperature (2–6°C) and improved body weight gain, feed conversion ratio (FCR), and mortality rates under hot-humid conditions. However, cooling efficiency was strongly influenced by ambient humidity, necessitating integrated and adaptive environmental control approaches. Smart sensor-based systems further enhanced microclimate stability and thermal uniformity within broiler houses. Beyond performance improvements, optimized environmental management reduced physiological stress indicators, including heterophil-to-lymphocyte ratios and corticosterone levels. Overall, integrated, humidity-adaptive, and energy-efficient cooling strategies are essential to sustain productivity, welfare, and climate resilience in tropical broiler production systems.

Environmental pollution is a common problem in cities and can increase the likelihood of flooding. The purpose of this study is to analyze environmental pollution as a cause of flooding in the Pekapuran Street area, Depok City. This study applies a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data were obtained through observation, documentation, and literature review. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the accumulation of household waste around the drainage channels causes obstruction of water flow, which triggers flooding during rain. In addition, the shallow, mud-filled, and poorly maintained drainage conditions increase the risk of flooding. Low levels of public awareness of environmental cleanliness are also factors that exacerbate the condition. This study concludes that flooding on Pekapuran Street is influenced not only by high rainfall, but also by environmental pollution and a suboptimal drainage system. Based on this, better waste management and drainage maintenance are needed to minimize the risk of flooding in the area.

This study aims to synthesize empirical and theoretical literature on the Planning–Organizing–Actuating–Controlling (POAC) framework in public sector management, identify asymmetries among its functions, and propose a reconfiguration of POAC that is relevant to digital and collaborative governance. The study employs an integrative literature review by examining classical management literature, peer-reviewed journals, government regulations, and official governance indicators. Data were analyzed thematically based on the four POAC functions and synthesized across themes, using Indonesia during the 2021–2025 period as the empirical context. The findings reveal that planning and organizing functions have developed relatively well, while actuating and especially controlling remain persistent weaknesses. This condition is reflected in improvements in several formal governance indicators, including the Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE) Index, Indonesia’s ranking in the E-Government Development Index (EGDI), Unqualified Audit Opinions (WTP), and public service compliance ratings. However, during the same period, the Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) declined. These findings indicate a gap between administrative achievements and substantive outcomes, consistent with the concept of means–ends decoupling in neo-institutional theory. The study contributes by bridging classical management theory with contemporary governance paradigms and proposing a Data-driven, Networked, Adaptive, and Participatory (DNAP) model of POAC. Practically, the results highlight the need to strengthen controlling functions and adaptive leadership to foster more effective, transparent, and outcome-oriented public governance.

Identity politics has become one of the most debated concepts in contemporary democratic discourse, yet its conceptual boundaries remain poorly defined in both academic and public conversations. This paper argues that three commonly conflated terms political identity, identity politics, and the politicization of identity carry fundamentally distinct meanings with divergent normative and practical consequences. Through a conceptual literature review, this study synthesizes theoretical frameworks and empirical findings to demonstrate that while political identity refers to an individual's self-positioning within a political community, and identity politics denotes collective action by marginalized groups seeking recognition, the politicization of identity is an elite-driven strategy of exploiting social group markers for political gain. This distinction matters because the conflation of these terms obscures how digital platforms  through filter bubble and echo chamber mechanisms  amplify identity-based polarization in Indonesia and beyond. The study finds that social media algorithms do not merely reflect pre-existing social divisions but actively intensify affective polarization by constructing homogeneous information environments that deepen inter-group animosity. The paper concludes with implications for digital citizenship and democratic resilience in Indonesia.

Limited land availability is a major constraint in developing school infrastructure in active urban educational facilities. This study evaluates the classroom development plan at SDN 39 Lubuklinggau from the perspective of a planner, focusing on land limitation, functional needs, safety, constructability, and long-term building performance. A descriptive-evaluative approach was applied through technical observation, document review, alternative assessment, weighted scoring, and risk analysis. The results indicate that horizontal expansion is constrained by limited open space and may reduce internal circulation, student activity areas, and emergency space. Three alternatives were compared: horizontal expansion, building rearrangement, and a two-storey classroom scheme. The two-storey alternative obtained the highest score of 84, compared with 61 for rearrangement and 56 for horizontal expansion. However, its feasibility depends on further soil investigation, structural design, staircase and evacuation safety, utility coordination, construction phasing, and strict site safety control. The study recommends that the planner prioritize detailed site measurement, geotechnical investigation, detailed engineering design, construction safety planning, and post-construction functional evaluation. A vertical classroom strategy can be considered a rational solution for land-constrained schools when supported by accountable technical planning and integrated project control.

Guided Bone Regeneration (GBR) relies on a barrier membrane to prevent soft tissue invasion in the wound area and maintain space for bone formation. Conventional membranes generally function as a passive barrier without enhancing osteogenesis. Membranes fabricated with the addition of β-TCP were developed to enhance membrane bioactivity. This review aims to evaluate the role of β-TCP as a bioactive component in barrier membranes used in GBR procedures. The study used a narrative review approach with literature sources from PubMed, Google Scholar, and ScienceDirect in the period 2016–2026. The keywords used included “guided bone regeneration," “barrier membrane," and “β-tricalcium phosphate." The selected articles were English-language experimental studies with relevant topics. A total of 7 articles met the inclusion criteria. The incorporation of native β-TCP showed increased osteoconductivity, hydrophilicity, and mechanical strength of the membrane. The release of calcium and phosphate ions plays a role in increasing osteoblast proliferation and osteogenic marker expression. In vitro and in vivo studies also demonstrated increased new bone formation and improved regeneration space maintenance compared to conventional membranes. The optimal concentration of β-TCP varies depending on the polymer matrix. β-TCP-based membranes have the potential to act as bioactive barrier membranes that not only act as a barrier but also support bone regeneration. Further research, particularly human clinical trials, is needed to confirm their effectiveness and safety.

Substandard housing remains a multidimensional urban problem because it intersects with structural safety, indoor environmental quality, sanitation, clean water, poverty, and the effectiveness of policy implementation. This study evaluates the implementation of the substandard housing improvement program (RTLH) in Lubuk Linggau City by integrating a technical audit of housing quality with an implementation analysis based on the variables of communication, resources, implementer disposition, and bureaucratic structure. A descriptive-evaluative mixed approach was applied through field observation, technical scoring of ten rehabilitated houses, document review, and structured interviews with regulators, field facilitators, and beneficiary households. The results show that the cumulative technical conformity index reached 3.325 out of 4.00, equivalent to 83%, and was classified as adequate housing. Structural resilience achieved the highest score at 88%, followed by space adequacy at 85%, natural lighting and ventilation at 80%, and sanitation and clean water at 75%. Five houses were classified as adequate housing, while five were classified as fairly adequate/light substandard housing. The implementation analysis indicates that clear practical communication and facilitator assistance strengthened structural quality, but limited financial resources, weak environmental-health prioritization, and administratively oriented supervision reduced sanitation and ventilation performance. The study recommends standardized septic systems, stronger post-construction technical verification, healthy-housing education, realistic unit budgets, and quality-oriented monitoring.

The contemporary moral crisis, marked by the prevalence of hoaxes, corruption, intolerance, and hedonism, demands a strategic response from the Islamic tradition. This research aims to actualize Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) moral exemplariness as a strategy for strengthening Muslim character. Using a qualitative literature review method with a thematic-integrative approach, this study analyzes primary sources (the Quran, authentic hadiths, classical Islamic texts) and secondary sources (national and international academic journals). The findings identify five dimensions of Prophetic exemplariness (siddiq, amanah, rahmah, zuhud, hikmah) that directly correspond to 24 character strengths in Peterson and Seligman's Values in Action (VIA) framework. This research formulates four actualization strategies: internalization through contemporary Sufism, behavioral modeling (uswah fi'liyah), moral community reinforcement (al-biah al-shalihah), and Islamic digital literacy. The primary contribution of this research is an integrative model linking Prophetic moral values with modern character psychology, supplemented by an integration table mapping moral crises, Prophetic values, and character-strengthening strategies. This model is intended to serve as an operational framework for Islamic educational institutions, families, and Muslim communities in addressing moral crises systematically and evidence-based.
