This research examines the comparison of Islamic education innovations in Japan and Singapore with a focus on technological approaches and local cultural integration. Japan and Singapore are two developed countries in Asia that have developed Islamic education systems with unique characteristics despite not being Muslim-majority countries. This study uses a qualitative method with a library research approach through document and literature analysis. Data were collected from scientific journals, books, and educational policy documents in both countries. The results show that Japan develops Islamic education with an adaptive approach that integrates digital technology and Japanese cultural values such as discipline and kaizen. Meanwhile, Singapore builds a structured Islamic education system integrated with the national education system through MUIS with innovations in the aL.I.V.E curriculum and SIES. The main difference lies in the level of institutionalization and government support, where Singapore has a more formal structure while Japan is more flexible and community-based. Both models provide valuable lessons for the development of Islamic education in Indonesia, particularly in terms of technology integration, local cultural adaptation, and contextual curriculum development.

This research aims to analyze the challenges and solutions of Islamic education in the digital era in an effort to maintain religious values in the midst of the rapid flow of modernization and technological development. This research uses the library research method by examining various relevant literature sources, such as books, journals, and previous research results. The results of the study show that technological advances have a great influence on students' learning patterns, behaviors, and moral values. However, with the right strategy, technology can also be used as a means of da'wah and strengthening Islamic character. Efforts that need to be made include the integration of Islamic values in digital-based learning, improving teachers' competence in technological literacy, and collaboration between schools, families, and communities. This research emphasizes that Islamic education must be adaptive to the development of the times, but still adhere to religious values in order to produce a generation of Muslims who are intelligent, faithful, and noble. In addition, curriculum innovation that is responsive to the needs of the times and the use of safe and directed digital media is needed to support the formation of students' character comprehensively.

Using a qualitative literature review method, this article analyzes primary and secondary data from national and international journals to present a comprehensive discussion. The findings highlight that while digital transformation provides opportunities for broader access to knowledge, it also raises concerns about the digital divide, the role of teachers, and the maintenance of Islamic values. Furthermore, the increasing reliance on digital tools in education has intensified the need for teachers to adapt to new technologies and methodologies. The study concludes that strengthening digital literacy, professional teacher training, and appropriate policy support are crucial for optimizing Islamic education in the digital age.
