This study aims to analyze the implementation of Nusantara Islamic values in multicultural education within the Integrated Islamic School (SIT) Al-Ftih environment. Nusantara Islam, as a religious concept characterized by moderation, tolerance, and accommodating local culture, has high relevance in developing education that respects diversity.Meanwhile, multicultural education emphasizes equality, inclusivity, and recognition of students' cultural identities. This research employed a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques included interviews, observation, and documentation, and its validity was tested through triangulation. The study results indicate that the integration of Nusantara Islamic values in SIT Al-Fatih Sukabumi remains partial, primarily limited to thematic religious activities and has not yet systematically addressed the curriculum, pedagogy, or school culture. Supporting factors for implementation include the availability of local culture, support from some teachers, and religious moderation policies. Inhibiting factors include a lack of teacher training, the dominance of Middle Eastern Islamic references, and a lack of multicultural evaluation instruments. This study concludes that a comprehensive implementation model that integrates Islam Nusantara into the curriculum, learning, and school culture is needed. Recommendations include developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for religious moderation based on local wisdom, teacher training, and developing evaluation instruments for the internalization of Islam Nusantara values.

This study aims to examine the conceptual understanding of second-semester students in the Islamic Religious Education program at STAI Al-Gazali Soppeng regarding the mental health course. A descriptive qualitative approach was used, with data collected through observation, interviews, oral tests, weekly quizzes, and video-based assignments. The results indicate that the majority of students demonstrated a good to excellent understanding of basic mental health concepts, as reflected by an average oral test score of 90. Students were also able to integrate Islamic values such as patience (sabr), gratitude (shukr), and trust in God (tawakkul) in addressing contemporary mental health issues. Weekly quizzes proved effective in enhancing engagement, content retention, and students’ reflective thinking. Additionally, video-based projects encouraged creativity, critical thinking, and the ability to contextualize course content in real-life situations. These findings suggest that active and contextual learning strategies significantly improve students’ conceptual understanding. The study recommends the wider adoption of similar approaches in teaching courses that incorporate Islamic values to foster awareness of the importance of mental health in students’ spiritual and social lives.

The expository learning strategy in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) remains relevant as a classical Islamic scholarly heritage but requires creative transformation to address digital-age challenges. This article examines the implementation of expository strategies through literature study, analyzing philosophical foundations, effectiveness, contemporary challenges, and innovation models. The research reveals that expository strategies are effective for normative PAI materials but face complex challenges including shifting cognitive patterns of digital natives, decentralization of knowledge authority, and technological disparities. Various innovative models (interactive, contextual, multimedia, reflective) offer solutions by integrating traditional expository strengths with modern approaches. The study concludes that successful implementation requires paradigmatic reconstruction through "pedagogical ijtihad" balancing Islamic scholarly authenticity with 21st-century learning needs. PAI teachers must master three core competencies: depth of religious knowledge, pedagogical sophistication, and technological literacy.
