This study compares the educational evaluation systems in Indonesia and Finland and their implications for learning quality. The method used is a library study, collecting data from literature related to educational evaluation policies in both countries. The educational evaluation system in Indonesia is quite complex, implementing various forms of assessment, such as homework (PR), daily tests, mid-semester assessments (PTS), final semester assessments (PAS), and school exams (US). Indonesia also implements the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM) as a requirement for student graduation. In contrast, Finland implements a simpler evaluation system with an emphasis on formative evaluation, a reduced number of exams, and the absence of the KKM or National Exam (UN). In the Finnish system, students are not held back from a grade, and evaluation is conducted throughout the learning process, focusing on students' continuous development. The results of this study indicate that differences in evaluation systems have a significant impact on learning methods and the development of educational quality in each country. The implication is the need to adapt evaluation policies that integrate holistic and formative aspects to improve learning quality, particularly in Indonesia.

The study employs a qualitative approach with a case study design, involving the principal, teachers, school committee, and parents through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data were analyzed using the Miles & Huberman interactive model. The findings indicate that SDN 1 Mangli has implemented public relations management strategically—not only administratively—but also as a means to foster communication, enhance community participation, and strengthen the school’s positive image. However, challenges remain, including the dominance of one-way communication, limited use of digital media, and the absence of measurable evaluation indicators. This research reveals that elementary schools can adopt modern public relations principles. The study implies the need to strengthen two-way symmetrical communication, optimize digital media utilization, and develop measurable evaluation indicators for school public relations programs.

In the digital era and the Industrial Revolution 4.0 towards Society 5.0, innovation becomes crucial, but many young people are still trapped in consuming information immediately without sufficient analytical skills. The absence of a culture of literacy and reading causes innovation that is only based on imitation. The initial message of Islam "Iqra' wa rabbukal-akram" (Read, and your Lord is Most Gracious) provides a solution, emphasizing that reading is the key to gaining knowledge, broadening your views, and developing critical thinking. Reading includes observing nature, social phenomena, and the signs of God's power, which require reflective thinking. The history of Islamic civilization shows progress triggered by the spirit of "iqra'," which gave birth to famous scholars such as Ibn Sina and Al-Khawarizmi. In the current era of globalization and technological challenges, these values are becoming increasingly crucial. Al-'Alaq 3 serves as an eternal call to develop critical thinking as a moral and spiritual responsibility, linking contemporary innovation with the ability to read critically. This article is intended to analyze QS. Al-'Alaq 3 as the basis of critical thinking in Islam, encourages scientific research and creative expression of gratitude. This study applies qualitative literature methods, which combine Islamic literature and contemporary critical thinking.

In America, absenteeism is considered a problematic issue. This is because according to several studies, truant behavior is considered a predictor of juvenile delinquency. This truant behavior occurs due to two factors, namely internal factors and external factors, one example of which is the low level of student motivation, and problems in the community or family environment experienced by students. Here the role of the Guidance Teacher is needed to provide solutions and motivation, as well as appropriate direction in providing the approaches and techniques that students need.
