Financial literacy is a fundamental competency that should be developed from an early age to foster prudent financial behavior in the future. However, the level of financial literacy among elementary school students remains relatively low, particularly in rural areas. The Community Service Program (Kuliah Kerja Nyata/KKN) serves as a strategic platform for providing financial education to the community, including elementary school students. This study aims to describe the implementation of a basic financial literacy program for students of SD 050430 Bunuraya Village through the KKN program and to analyze its impact on students’ understanding of financial concepts. This study employs a qualitative descriptive method, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that the financial literacy program delivered through interactive learning media effectively improves students’ understanding of basic concepts such as saving, distinguishing between needs and wants, and simple management of pocket money. The program is expected to serve as an initial step in building early financial awareness and encouraging the involvement of schools and families in children’s financial education.

An earthquake occurs when energy is suddenly released within the earth’s layers, potentially causing loss of life and environmental damage. One factor contributing to the high impact of earthquakes is the lack of student understanding and inadequate education on disaster preparedness. This study aimed to assess earthquake disaster management education at the Nur Adia Junior High School Education Foundation, Tanjung Selamat, Deli Serdang. A quantitative pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest and posttest was applied, involving 63 eighth-grade students. Data were collected through questionnaires to measure students’ knowledge before and after the educational intervention on earthquake disaster management. The results indicated that before the education, 69.8% of students rarely received information about earthquake causes, 61.9% had never participated in school earthquake evacuation simulations, and 55.5% had never practiced evacuation drills. After the educational intervention, knowledge improved, with 66.6% of students reporting that the program significantly increased their understanding of earthquakes. Statistical analysis showed a significant difference between pretest and posttest scores (Sig. 2-tailed = 0.000 < 0.05), confirming the effectiveness of the intervention. The study concluded that education on earthquake disaster management can enhance students’ knowledge and preparedness. It is recommended that schools implement regular educational programs and disaster simulation exercises to cultivate students’ readiness and promote a culture of disaster preparedness within the school environment.

This study aims to examine the use of piggy banks as a means of financial literacy education among elementary school students. Piggy piggy banks are seen as a simple but effective learning medium in instilling the habit of saving, managing money, and forming a frugal character from an early age. Through a qualitative descriptive approach, this research involves students, teachers, and parents as the main data source with interview and observation techniques. The results of the study show that the use of piggy banks not only increases children's understanding of the concept of money and economic value, but also fosters financial responsibility and awareness from an early age. Teachers play an important role in providing direction and assistance, while the role of parents is a reinforcement of the practice of saving at home. In addition, saving through piggy banks has been proven to increase motivation to learn, because children feel that they have financial goals that they want to achieve. Education through piggy banks is the first step in building a strong financial literacy foundation, so that children are used to planning their money wisely and consistently. Thus, piggy banks can be used as effective contextual learning innovations at the elementary school level.

The use of technology in early childhood and elementary education is becoming increasingly important in the digital era. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of educational games as an interactive learning medium to increase the interest and motivation of elementary school students. This activity was carried out by the KKM group 95 team from Bina Bangsa University on 43 fourth-grade students at Bayak Public Elementary School. The research method used a descriptive quantitative approach through a pre-test and post-test using a Google Form questionnaire. The educational games were developed through the Educaplay platform, which provides various features such as interactive quizzes, crosswords, and picture-matching games. Prior to the intervention, observations were conducted on student learning behavior in the classroom. The results of the initial observations indicated that most students showed little interest in conventional, monotonous learning methods. Therefore, a more engaging approach involving active student participation was needed to rekindle their enthusiasm for learning. During the activity, students were very enthusiastic in participating in the educational games presented. The classroom atmosphere became more lively, and students were seen working together and showing a high curiosity about the material presented through the games. After using the educational games for several sessions, a post-test was conducted to measure changes in students' interest and motivation to learn. Preliminary data analysis results indicate an increase in student interest and motivation scores after participating in educational game-based learning. This indicates that interactive, technology-based approaches have strong potential to improve learning effectiveness at the elementary school level. This study recommends that teachers actively integrate interactive technology into the teaching and learning process. In addition to increasing student engagement, the use of media such as Educaplay can also adapt learning to the digital-native characteristics of today's generation of students.

The nursing education process was implemented through clinical practice in hospitals. However, the heavy workload of nurses and clinical instructors often hindered the optimal provision of guidance to students. Therefore, efforts were necessary to enhance the competencies of nursing educators and clinical instructors. The development of these competencies required support from both formal and non-formal education. One form of non-formal education was the implementation of preceptorship and mentorship training programs. These programs were expected to strengthen the quality of student guidance in clinical settings. The methods employed included lectures, role-playing, and hands-on application in inpatient care units. The training outcomes indicated a significant improvement in the clinical instructors’ ability to effectively carry out preceptorship and mentorship roles.

Education is not only about academic knowledge, but also about the overall balance between body and mind. Amidst increasing academic demands and constant social pressures, students’ mental health is a crucial aspect that should not be ignored. Mental health literacy in a legal perspective is the foundation for academic success, healthy social interactions and overall quality of life. In the educational environment, we often talk about achievement, grades and preparation for the future, but we often forget that students’ mental health is an important foundation for achieving such success. Mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression or stress that are not addressed can interfere with concentration in learning, healthy social interactions, and even general physical health. Therefore, it is important for us to start building mental health literacy in a legal perspective among students. By knowing the symptoms that may appear, preventive measures that can be taken and available sources of support, we can help create an inclusive, caring and supportive educational environment for students’ mental well-being. Many countries have specific regulations that cover aspects of mental health literacy in the educational environment, including students’ rights related to access to services and protection from discrimination. Student mental health literacy from a legal perspective involves the application of legal principles in the context of protecting and fulfilling students' rights related to mental health in the educational environment. Mental health literacy from a legal perspective as an integral part of individual well-being is gaining increasing emphasis in the legal realm. Protection of individual mental health does not only rely on medical aspects, but is also closely intertwined with the rights and regulations that accompany it. Education, advocacy, and cross-sector collaboration are key in efforts to improve mental health protection from a legal perspective that includes interrelated social, educational, health, and legal aspects. Through a better understanding of this background, regulations and policies can be developed to better protect and support students' mental health in educational institutions.

The implementation of this research, conducted through Community Service Activities, is grounded in the conditions experienced by parents in caring for children with special needs, such as autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, cerebral palsy, or other developmental disorders. The heavy burden of caregiving can increase the risk of psychological distress. This Community Service Activity was carried out at the Sahabat Autis Bogor Foundation, located in Billabong Permai Housing Complex, Block C3D No. 2, Bojong Gede, accompanying seven parents of students. The objective of the Community Service Activity was to enhance the quality of life of the mothers, stabilize their mental health, prevent mental health decline, and provide optimal support for their children with mental health challenges. The methods employed in the Community Service Activity included (1) Socialization and Seminar Implementation, (2) Psychological Support and Counseling, and (3) Coping Strategy Training and the Establishment of a Support Group. The findings from this research activity indicated that parents struggled to express the anger and bitterness they experienced as side effects of stress, fatigue, and the lack of attention to their own needs. Parents, particularly mothers of children with special needs, were found to be more vulnerable to prolonged stress, anxiety, and even depression compared to mothers of children without special needs. They also experienced trauma in introducing their children to their social environment and exhibited heightened concerns regarding their children's careers and futures.

Based on the preliminary study, it can be seen that the Japanese Language MGMP in Central Java is facing problems regarding the teaching of Japanese pronunciation. Many students pronounce Japanese incorrectly causing communication to not go smoothly. For example, when pronouncing the word ojiisan (おじいさん) which means “grandfather”, but pronounced with a short sound ojisan (おじさん)which means “uncle”. In addition, when pronouncing the word “ame” (雨)which means “rain” which should be pronounced with a high accent at the beginning, it is pronounced with “ame” (飴)with a high accent at the end, so the meaning changes to “candy”. Teachers have difficulty teaching it. To overcome the partner's problems, a workshop was held with the aim of providing knowledge about using the OJAD website and Tsutaeru Hatsuon. Through this workshop, high school Japanese teachers in Central Java can improve their ability to master and apply Japanese pronunciation, especially on Japanese accent, intonation and rhythm, then teach it to students.

Pesticides are all chemicals and other materials as well as microbes and viruses that are used to eradicate or prevent pests and diseases that damage plants. The majority of farmers use chemical pesticides because they are easy to apply practically, fast reaction, and more efficient. Vegetable pesticides or biopesticides are solutions of organic insecticide compounds that function as plant pest control and are environmentally friendly because the active ingredients are easily decomposed in nature. Compiled from the Village Information System page, it is known that the SDGs score of Lebo Village, the point of the village caring for the land environment, is at a percentage of 33.33%, which indicates that the aspect of caring for the land environment in Lebo Village is still low. Based on these conditions, students try to help improve village development in the aspect of land environmental care. The vegetable pesticide socialization activity is one of the activities of the KKN-T Bela Negara of UPN 'Veteran' East Java Students. The socialization was held on Saturday, July 27, 2024. The target of this vegetable pesticide socialization was attended by 18 PKK RW 05 women in Lebo Village, Sidoarjo, consisting of 3 RTs, namely RT 16, 17, and 18.
