The phenomenon of moral degradation and the increase in negative activities among children during the crucial hours between dusk and evening have become serious challenges for the community in Ujung Negeri Kahan Village. This community service research aims to evaluate and optimize the role of the "Maghrib Mengaji" program as a preventive instrument to shield children from unhealthy environmental influences and gadget dependency. The method employed in this service is participatory mentoring using the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach, involving religious leaders, parents, and village officials. Through the restructuring of activities in mosques and prayer rooms, this program focuses not only on Qur'anic literacy but also on the cultivation of noble character (akhlakul karimah). The results indicate a significant transformation in behavior; children who previously engaged in counterproductive outdoor activities are now more focused on positive spiritual and social endeavors. The success of the program is indicated by a decrease in the intensity of nighttime wandering and an increase in learning discipline. The conclusion of this activity confirms that community synergy through structured religious programs is effective in reducing the potential for juvenile delinquency and strengthening the moral resilience of the younger generation at the rural level.

Parental mental health plays a critical role in fostering healthy parenting practices, particularly during early childhood. Nevertheless, many parents, including homemakers and working mothers, continue to demonstrate limited awareness of the importance of maintaining psychological well-being in the parenting process. The program employed a mental health education and outreach approach, incorporating structured presentations, interactive discussions, question-and-answer sessions, and the provision of practical coping strategies applicable to daily life. The activity was implemented among parents of kindergarten pupils. The findings indicated a notable improvement in participants’ understanding of parental mental health, increased awareness of stress management in parenting contexts, and an enhanced capacity to apply simple strategies to maintain emotional regulation. Moreover, participants demonstrated active engagement and positive responses throughout the programme. This initiative contributes to strengthening parental mental health awareness as a preventive measure to support healthier and more adaptive parenting practices within the family setting.

This study aims to examine the use of piggy banks as a means of financial literacy education among elementary school students. Piggy piggy banks are seen as a simple but effective learning medium in instilling the habit of saving, managing money, and forming a frugal character from an early age. Through a qualitative descriptive approach, this research involves students, teachers, and parents as the main data source with interview and observation techniques. The results of the study show that the use of piggy banks not only increases children's understanding of the concept of money and economic value, but also fosters financial responsibility and awareness from an early age. Teachers play an important role in providing direction and assistance, while the role of parents is a reinforcement of the practice of saving at home. In addition, saving through piggy banks has been proven to increase motivation to learn, because children feel that they have financial goals that they want to achieve. Education through piggy banks is the first step in building a strong financial literacy foundation, so that children are used to planning their money wisely and consistently. Thus, piggy banks can be used as effective contextual learning innovations at the elementary school level.

Bullying in Indonesian educational settings remains a serious problem that requires widespread attention. Poor legal understanding among children and adolescents, coupled with suboptimal child protection regulations, increases the risk of violence in schools. To address this issue, a "Fight Bullying" outreach program was conducted in Sumeith Pasinaro Village, aimed at improving students' understanding of the definition, forms, impacts, and legal consequences of bullying. This program utilized a qualitative descriptive approach and a participatory education model, involving 47 students from Sumeith Pasinaro Elementary School and Elpaputih 2 Junior High School. The methods employed included material delivery, interactive discussions, and assessments to provide students with an in-depth understanding of the legal education provided. The evaluation results showed a significant increase in students' understanding of bullying, with an average level of understanding reaching 80.83%. Students were able not only to identify the types of bullying but also to understand the long-term impacts on both victims and perpetrators. This outreach program also helped students understand the legal regulations governing bullying and encouraged them to report or stop such acts. This program emphasizes the importance of a planned and sustainable approach involving teachers and parents to prevent bullying, as well as creating a safe learning environment and supporting child protection.

The purpose of this education is to increase public awareness, especially among teenagers, of the impacts of early marriage through educational seminars and Service-Learning-based outreach in Naga Kesiangan Village. Early marriage remains a critical issue in Indonesia, often associated with health risks, psychological stress, and limited educational and social opportunities for young people. The Service-Learning approach was chosen because it not only provides knowledge transfer but also actively engages participants in reflection and discussion, ensuring that the learning process is more contextual and sustainable. The method used was Service-Learning, involving 30 teenagers aged 15–19 years, 15 parents, and 5 community leaders who were purposively selected for their direct relevance to the issue. Activities included seminars, small group discussions, interactive question-and-answer sessions, and collective reflection. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in participants’ understanding, from 42% (pre-test) to 81% (post-test). Participants gained a deeper understanding of the health, psychological, social, and educational risks of early marriage and were encouraged to delay marriage by choosing positive alternatives through education and skill development. A harmonious and effective relationship between teachers and parents is a crucial factor in supporting the success of the educational process in schools. However, in practice, gaps in communication, a lack of active participation from parents, and limited understanding of each party’s role in supporting student development are still common. This outreach program aims to improve the quality of teacher-parent communication and to encourage more active and effective parental involvement in the educational environment. The methods used in this program include lectures, interactive discussions, and case study simulations. The results show that the program successfully increased the understanding of both parties regarding the importance of collaboration, openness, and two-way communication in supporting the teaching and learning process. With improved service quality from teachers and active engagement from parents, it is expected that a stronger synergy in children's education at school can be achieved.
