Assessment practices in Indonesian language learning at vocational high schools are still predominantly oriented toward written tests and cognitive achievement, resulting in limited measurement of communicative competence, language politeness, and self-control. This condition is not fully aligned with the characteristics of vocational education, which prepares students to meet workplace demands through professional communication skills and strong personal character. This study aims to develop an integrative authentic assessment model based on language politeness and self-control in Indonesian language learning at vocational high schools. The study employed a qualitative approach using library research by analyzing 16 relevant references consisting of journal articles, policy documents, and supporting academic sources. Data were analyzed through identification, classification, comparison, interpretation, and conceptual synthesis. The findings reveal that the proposed model should integrate four principal dimensions: linguistic knowledge, language skills, language politeness, and self-control. The model may be implemented through contextual assessment tasks such as presentations, job interview simulations, customer service practices, digital portfolios, peer assessment, and reflective evaluation. This model offers a more comprehensive assessment framework and may serve as a practical guideline for teachers in evaluating students’ academic competence, communication ethics, and work readiness. The study contributes to the development of character-based assessment innovation in vocational education..

Science education in elementary schools plays a crucial role in shaping students’ early understanding of natural phenomena, including the concept of force and its effects on objects. However, many teachers still face challenges in delivering the material in a contextual and engaging way, which affects student participation in learning. This study aims to analyze the relevance of the science content on the theme “the effect of force on objects” and to evaluate the effectiveness of simulation-based learning in improving concept comprehension among fourth-grade students. A descriptive quantitative method was used with a simple experimental approach involving one class. The research instruments included observation, documentation, and posttest assessments. The results showed that 92.6% of students achieved the minimum mastery criteria after participating in the simulation-based learning process. These findings indicate that the use of simulations helps students better understand changes in motion and shape caused by force. The implication of this study highlights the importance of integrating interactive media and experiential learning approaches in science education at the elementary level to enhance student engagement and significantly improve learning outcomes.

Abstract In the 21st century, the use of interactive learning media is increasingly regarded as an effective means to enhance the quality of education, particularly for elementary school students. This article aims to provide a literature review on the impact of interactive learning media on the learning development of elementary school students. This study employs a qualitative research method using a literature review approach. Based on the analysis of six relevant journals, it can be concluded that interactive learning media have a positive influence on students’ learning processes. Moreover, feasibility tests indicate that such media are highly appropriate and effective in improving learning outcomes. Interactive learning media are modern, innovative, and efficient tools that deliver information in various forms such as videos, simulations, educational games, and online platforms. These diverse forms of media make the learning process more engaging and increase student motivation and participation. Therefore, the use of interactive learning media in the field of education, especially at the elementary level, should be continuously promoted to enhance students’ learning and skill development.

This research aims to examine the impact of using technology-based learning media on class X Software Engineering (RPL) students at SMKN 7 Serang City. In the ever-growing digital era, technology has become an important part of education, offering various forms of learning media that are more interactive and interesting. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method to explore the challenges and impacts of using technology-based learning media on student learning outcomes. Data collection techniques were carried out through literature studies, interviews and direct observation. The research results show that the use of technology-based learning media can improve the quality of learning and understanding of the material by students, as well as motivate them to be more active in learning. Media such as digital tutorials, e-learning, and simulations allow students to learn independently and gain practical skills relevant to the world of work. However, there are significant challenges, such as limited technological facilities and gaps in access between students who have devices and those who do not. Therefore, efforts are needed to improve technological facilities and equalize access for all students. This research contributes to understanding the role of technology in education, especially at SMKN 7 Serang City, as well as providing recommendations for maximizing the implementation of technology-based learning media in vocational education in Indonesia.
