In the current era of globalization, ease of access to information and the expansion of scholarship opportunities have facilitated greater mobility among Indonesian students seeking higher education abroad. This phenomenon has contributed to the rise of Indonesian intellectual diasporas, who, while pursuing academic excellence, also serve as cultural ambassadors representing Indonesia on the global stage. Their presence abroad extends beyond academic engagement, encompassing efforts to promote national identity and foster cultural understanding. This study examines the dual role of Indonesian students overseas, focusing on their pursuit of education as well as their contributions to the preservation and promotion of Indonesian cultural identity in international contexts. Expressions of patriotism are frequently demonstrated through the performance and dissemination of traditional arts and cultural practices. By doing so, these students not only maintain a connection to their homeland but also enhance Indonesia’s cultural visibility in diverse academic and social environments.

This research was conducted based on observations made on fifth-grade students, regarding their self-confidence, which still requires stimulation due to a lack of self-confidence. Based on this problem, an improvement is needed that can enhance students' self-confidence through engaging and enjoyable activities that are not frequently done, one of which is the role-playing method. The objective of this research is to determine the increase in self-confidence of fifth-grade students through the role-playing method at SD Negeri 26/IV Kota Jambi. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR). It was conducted at SD Negeri 26/IV Kota Jambi from March 2025 to April 2025. The research subjects were 15 students and the class teacher. Data collection methods included observation, documentation, and interviews. Data analysis involved data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The performance indicator to be achieved is an increase in children's self-confidence by 75% out of 15 children using the role-playing method. The results of this study indicate that the role playing method is proven to be effective in increasing the self-confidence of fifth grade students at SDN 26/IV Jambi City. The increase in children's self-confidence can be seen from cycle I to cycle II. In cycle I, the children's self-confidence ability was categorized as developing well by 44% with a good category. and in cycle II it increased to 94% with a very good category. So it can be concluded that the role playing method can increase self-confidence in fifth grade students at SDN 26/IV Jambi City.

This study employed a qualitative approach using a case study method. The participants were four students from the fourth grade. Data were gathered through various techniques, including observation, interviews, testing, and documentation. The findings indicated that students' reading comprehension abilities remained relatively weak. In terms of interpreting the meaning of words and expressions used by the author, students demonstrated performance at a moderate level. However, regarding the ability to understand both explicit and implicit meanings, as well as to draw conclusions from the text, their performance fell into the low or inadequate category. The factors that influence this low ability come from both internal and external factors. To overcome this problem, it is recommended that teachers motivate students more, manage the class more effectively, and apply reading comprehension strategies such as Know, Want, Learn (KWL).

The method used is a literature study, collecting data from various sources, including books, academic journals, and previous relevant research. Data analysis was conducted by examining theories and past research findings regarding the impact of Discovery Learning on student motivation and learning outcomes. The study results indicate that implementing Discovery Learning can increase students' learning motivation by providing a more active and meaningful learning experience. Furthermore, previous research also highlights that this model positively contributes to improving students' academic performance. Thus, Discovery Learning can be considered an effective instructional strategy for enhancing motivation and academic achievement in elementary school students.

In the school environment, a good assessment of the performance of guidance and counseling teachers by subject teachers reflects recognition of the contribution of guidance and counseling teachers in supporting students academically, emotionally, and socially. The purpose of this study was to see the views of subject teachers on the performance of guidance and counseling teachers in various aspects. This type of research is quantitative descriptive. The instrument in this study used a questionnaire on the performance of guidance and counseling teachers. Based on the results of the analysis of the research data that have been presented, the researcher concluded that the performance of guidance and counseling teachers was assessed as good according to the perceptions of subject teachers based on several aspects, namely basic services, individual interest and planning services, responsive services and system support services.

This study, utilizing MindMeister, aims to examine the impact of using the mind mapping technique on the ability of 7th-grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Parbuluan to retell the content of a narrative text they have read. The research population consisted of 172 7th-grade students, with a sample size of 56 students divided into two groups: a control class and an experimental class, each comprising 28 students. The research employed a quantitative method with a true experimental design. The research instrument was a performance test, and the data were analyzed using a t-test. Based on the results, the average score of students’ ability to narrate the content of a narrative text using the close reading technique was 62.21, with a standard deviation of 6.33, which falls into the “poor” category. Meanwhile, the students’ ability to retell the narrative text using the mind mapping technique with the assistance of MindMeister was 80.07, categorized as “good,” with a standard deviation of 5.48. The data indicated an improvement in the average scores between the control class, which used the intensive reading technique, and the experimental class, which applied the mind mapping technique. Through hypothesis testing, it was found that Thitung > Ttabel, thus rejecting H0 and accepting H1. This means that the use of the mind mapping technique with the help of MindMeister positively influences the ability of 7th-grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Parbuluan to retell narrative texts.

Empirical studies reveal that anxiety among EFL students is influenced by variables such as communication anxiety, fear of receiving a poor grade, and low self-esteem.  during speaking activities. Speech anxiety among ESL/EFL learners can impact their oral communication skills negatively, leading to avoidance and withdrawal from speaking activities in the classroom. Language anxiety, specifically related to speaking, can hinder students' willingness to engage in foreign language acquisition and affect their speaking performance negatively .Research have indicated a connection between EFL students' oral communication anxiety and communication proficiency,highlighting the importance of addressing anxiety to enhance language proficiency.

Dasamuka's journey in fighting for his love ambition for Dewi Citrawati allows researchers to know more deeply about Dasamuka's personality traits. The aim of this research is to describe the personality structure, mental problems and consequences of the actions of the Dasamuka characters. The theory used in this research is Ludwig Klages' theory of personality psychology. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, with video documentation of shadow puppet performance “Sumantri Gugur” puppeteer Ki Puguh Prasetyo which will be broadcast live in 2023 as the main source. The aim of using this method is to be able to present data in the form of descriptions, not in the form of numbers. Data collection was carried out using listening and transcription techniques.  The results and discussion of this research are that the character Dasamuka is included in the temperament group sanguinis, with various negative desires to justify various means to fight for an ambition. In order to justify any means, the character Dasamuka will face the consequences of his own actions.

This article uses a qualitative approach with case studies to explore employee performance and working conditions. The research results show that integration between appraisal orientation and a work performance appraisal system that is tailored to the company's needs can support organizational growth and increase employee motivation. Appraisals and work performance appraisal systems are recognized as effective tools in creating excellence for companies by directing the achievement of organizational goals and improving employee performance. In this context, this research highlights the importance of using relevant and transparent evaluation methods to ensure fairness in employee appraisals. Therefore, implementing good work performance appraisals also involves open communication between management and employees, as well as providing constructive feedback. Thus, this article emphasizes that job performance appraisal is not only an evaluation tool, but also a strategic instrument for building a work culture that supports employee growth and development as well as overall organizational success.
