This study, utilizing MindMeister, aims to examine the impact of using the mind mapping technique on the ability of 7th-grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Parbuluan to retell the content of a narrative text they have read. The research population consisted of 172 7th-grade students, with a sample size of 56 students divided into two groups: a control class and an experimental class, each comprising 28 students. The research employed a quantitative method with a true experimental design. The research instrument was a performance test, and the data were analyzed using a t-test. Based on the results, the average score of students’ ability to narrate the content of a narrative text using the close reading technique was 62.21, with a standard deviation of 6.33, which falls into the “poor” category. Meanwhile, the students’ ability to retell the narrative text using the mind mapping technique with the assistance of MindMeister was 80.07, categorized as “good,” with a standard deviation of 5.48. The data indicated an improvement in the average scores between the control class, which used the intensive reading technique, and the experimental class, which applied the mind mapping technique. Through hypothesis testing, it was found that Thitung > Ttabel, thus rejecting H0 and accepting H1. This means that the use of the mind mapping technique with the help of MindMeister positively influences the ability of 7th-grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Parbuluan to retell narrative texts.

The Indonesian language learning module for high school X-grade students, created by Indri Anatya Permatasari, M.Pd, contains several writing errors. These errors include inconsistencies in punctuation marks, diction, conjunctions, and inappropriate meaning, which do not align with the norms of good and correct language usage. Effective sentence structure is crucial for conveying information clearly to readers. The discovery of these errors in the observation report text within the module prompted further research. The research aims to identify and address these writing errors to improve the module and enhance students' comprehension of the text. By analyzing these errors, the learning module can be tailored to better meet the needs of the students. The research adopts a qualitative descriptive approach, with the observation report text within the Indonesian language learning module as the primary data source. The method involves thorough reading of the text, error identification, analysis, categorization, and correction. The observation report text contains facts gathered from observation activities. The research revealed four writing errors: inconsistencies in the use of punctuation marks, diction, conjunctions, and inappropriate meaning. These errors are attributed to the author's limited knowledge and skills in report writing.

Understanding sentence function patterns plays a major role in reading a novel, especially in class XII. By studying the understanding of sentence function patterns, class XII students can understand the important role of sentence function patterns in a novel. This research aims to be an informative and interesting learning resource for class XII students to use novels as enrichment material and improve their language skills. This research considers the function patterns of sentences in the novel "Pulang" by Tere Liye and the feasibility of sentence readability as enrichment material for class XII students. The method used in this research is a qualitative-descriptive method. Qualitative descriptive methods do not rely on evidence-based systematic logic, numerical principles, or statistical methods. This research helps determine the function patterns of sentences through the functions, categories, and roles of sentences in the novel, as well as the data and data sources in this research in the form of collections of sentences in the novel "Pulang" by Tere Liye. The data analysis technique used in this research uses the AGH method. The results of this research found sentence function patterns in the novel "Pulang" by Tere Liye. There are two S-P sentence patterns; there are three S-P-O sentence patterns; there are three S-P-Pel sentence patterns; there are four S-P-O-Pel sentence patterns; there are three S-P-K sentence patterns; there are four S-P-O-K sentence patterns; there are five S-P-O-Pel-K sentence patterns; and there are five S-P-O-Pel-K sentence patterns. Analysis of sentences based on function found the following sentence function patterns: S, P, O, and K. Analysis of sentences based on categories found in sentences is as follows: Function S is in the noun category. Function P is categorized as an adjective or verb. Function O is in the noun category. Ket functions are categorized as verbs, adjectives, and verb phrases. The analysis of sentences based on the roles found in the sentences is as follows: S's function is to act as an actor. Function P acts as a command or action. Function O acts as a sufferer. The functions of information are time, nature, and circumstances. Apart from that, the sentence function patterns in the novel "Pulang" by Tere Liye are suitable as enrichment material for class not good, accuracy in finding sentence function patterns, inaccuracy in finding sentence function patterns, accuracy in preparing sentence function patterns, inaccuracy in preparing sentence function patterns, effectiveness in reading story text narratives in novels, and ineffectiveness in reading story text narratives in novels. Learning Indonesian has an important role in the process of teaching students about good and correct Indonesian language skills according to their goals and functions. The use of the TikTok application is one way to integrate technology in learning in class X SMA Negeri 11 Semarang negotiation text material. This study aims to find out whether the TikTok application can be used as an alternative learning medium that is effective in improving language skills and increasing students' interest in learning. This research also aims to motivate educators to create interesting learning media. This research uses qualitative descriptive method. Its data collection techniques use observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the use of the TikTok application in learning negotiation texts with the research objects of class X students of SMA Negeri 11 Semarang can be well received. The aim of this research is to understand the form of anxiety of the character Kodar Santika in the novel Canthing by Narko Sodrun Budiman. Anxiety is a form of conflict that occurs within oneself. The inner conflict that causes anxiety in Kodar's character comes from an imbalance in the personality structure of the id, ego and superego. Anxiety was Freud's focus. The theory used in this research is Sigmud Freud's theory which focuses on Kodar's anxiety. Anxiety is a feeling of insecurity that develops when someone is faced with a danger that threatens their life because this feeling of insecurity causes anxiety. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method. The data collection techniques used in this research are library study techniques, critical reading techniques, and note-taking techniques. The method used to analyze data is descriptive analysis techniques. Based on the research results, it was found that the main character's anxiety is neurotical anxiety, including fear and confusion. Anxiety is a realistic fear of objects and situations. And the ultimate moralistic fear includes regret and feelings of guilt. The anxiety experienced by Kodar's character is influenced by the economy, temptation towards women, and lack of support from the family. The anxiety felt by Kodar's character can be ended by using ego defense mechanisms in the form of denial, distraction, sublimation, rationalization.

The maintenance of education must be tailored to the needs and interests of students so that they learn something that interests them. Therefore, today's educational systems focus educational objectives and processes on the child's factor and can foster freedom of interests and needs. This makes the Social Science subjects taught in primary school must be based on the needs and interests of the child about the environment in which he lives. Basically, the subject of Social Science must be taught with a full sense of responsibility to the student, because it is very closely related to the people and the environment where humans live and carry out the activities to meet their needs. This makes the role of the teacher not only as a teacher but also as a guide and at the same time as an administrator. The personal teacher as a unit also determines the learning result given. Therefore, the component of the teaching situation, the correct delivery method and the media used also determine the learning outcome.Thus it can be concluded, that learning will be successful when considering many interrelated teaching components. These components can be grouped into three main categories, namely: first, the teacher, second, the subject matter, and third, the student. The interaction between the three main components involves the means and objects, methods, media and setting up of the learning environment so that a learning situation is created that enables the achievement of a previously planned goal.

The maintenance of education must be tailored to the needs and interests of students so that they learn something that interests them. The ability to write news texts for class VIII middle school students is still low. This problem was discovered based on observations when researchers talked to students at class VIII of SMP Negeri 1 Ngamprah, they did not understand the steps that had to be taken when writing news. In the learning process, teachers still use the lecture method, this makes students less active and tend to be passive when the teaching and learning process is taking place between the teacher and students. The learning model that can be a solution to this problem is the Group Investigation model assisted by broadcasts as a learning medium. The aim of this research is to determine students' responses to the application of the Group Investigation learning model assisted by podcasts in news text writing activities. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire. The results show an average of 63.83% included in the "Good" category.

The problem with this study is that many schoolchildren still complain about having trouble writing essays, texts, or stories. The issue with writing skills is that for students to write well, they also need a lot of extensive knowledge. The objective is to determine the effect of the problem-based learning model on the ability of class X students at SMA Negeri 1 Kutalimbaru to write negotiation text material for the 2023–2024 academic year. This will be done by measuring students' ability to write negotiation text material using class problem-based learning. This exploration technique is trial research. A scoring system for evaluating a person's capacity to write negotiation texts serves as the data collection method. The examination area is at SMA Negeri 1 Kutalimbaru. The information examination methods in this exploration are homogeneity test, ordinariness test and t test. Based on the calculations, this study came to the conclusion that, at the 95% significance level, or  = 0.05, tcount is 38.39 and ttable is 1.66. The research alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted because tcount is greater than ttable (38.39 is greater than 1.66). Therefore, the ability of class X students at SMA Negeri 1 Kutalimbaru to write negotiation texts is influenced by the problem-based learning model.

This research aims to determine the effect of video tutorial media on the ability to write descriptive text for students in class VII MTsN 2 Medan for the 2023/2024 academic year. The population of this study was all class VII MTsN 2 Medan for the 2023/2024 academic year, consisting of 10 classes with a total of 320 students. The samples taken were classes VII-1 and VII-4, totaling 32 students in each class. The method used is an experimental research method, this will use the "two group post-test design" model. The instrument used is a description test. Hypothesis testing was carried out using the "t" test. Data without using video tutorial media was classified as not meeting the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) with an average value (mean) of 68.21, students' skills in writing descriptive text using video tutorial media were classified as meeting the category. minimum completeness criteria (KKM) with an average value (mean) of 90.75. Next, hypothesis testing shows tcount>ttable with a value with the t stat getting a value of -15.94956082 and t Critical two-tail getting a value of 2.000297822 so it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted.

Children with special needs are children who have their own individuality in terms of types and characteristics, which distinguish them from normal children in general. Learning difficulties are more related to psychological disorders such as frustration, anxiety, adjustment barriers and emotional disorders, so learning difficulties can be related to psychological factors, especially personality, adjustment disorders and self-confidence. This study aims to determine the learning difficulties experienced by students with special needs. The method used is descriptive using qualitative data analysis so that it becomes an easy-to-understand data exposure. The selection of research subjects consisted of one classroom teacher, one GPK teacher, and one student with special needs. The results showed that there were students with special needs who were categorized as slow learners. Students experience difficulties during the learning process such as difficulty recognizing letters and numbers.

Children with special needs are children who have their own individuality in terms of types and characteristics, which distinguish them from normal children in general. Learning difficulties are more related to psychological disorders such as frustration, anxiety, adjustment barriers and emotional disorders, so learning difficulties can be related to psychological factors, especially personality, adjustment disorders and self-confidence. This study aims to determine the learning difficulties experienced by students with special needs. The method used is descriptive using qualitative data analysis so that it becomes an easy-to-understand data exposure. The selection of research subjects consisted of one classroom teacher, one GPK teacher, and one student with special needs. The results showed that there were students with special needs who were categorized as slow learners. Students experience difficulties during the learning process such as difficulty recognizing letters and numbers.
