Beginner students often face difficulties in academic writing, such as organizing ideas, choosing correct grammar, and expressing information in their own words. Because of this, many students use QuillBot as a writing support tool. This study aims to understand how QuillBot helps beginner writers become more independent in academic writing. The research used a mixed-method approach with 30 students from the English Language and Literature Department at the State University of Medan, with data collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire and open-ended reflections. The findings show that more than 70% of the students use QuillBot frequently in their writing tasks. Most students said that QuillBot helps improve grammar accuracy, sentence clarity, and paraphrasing skills, and also increases their confidence in writing. The summarizing feature also helps students identify and restate main ideas. However, 59% of the students noted that using QuillBot too much may reduce creativity and lead to dependency. The study concludes that QuillBot is helpful as a supporting tool for writing, but it should be used in balance. Students still need to practice writing independently so they can develop their own writing style and confidence.

This paper explores the influence of globalization on the evolution of language and literature, both in the context of preservation and creativity. Language undergoes modifications in structure and vocabulary as a result of cultural interaction and technological advancement, while literature evolves in terms of genres and media, as reflected in the emergence of digital literature and literacy phenomena on social media platforms. On the other hand, globalization also provides opportunities for local literary works to reach international audiences through translation and digital media. Using a descriptive and analytical approach, this paper highlights the challenges and opportunities arising from the intersection of globalization, language, and literature, as well as their significance in formulating strategies to maintain cultural identity through language and literary expression.

This research is motivated by the low quality of learning in various educational units, one of the causes of which is the gap between curriculum design and classroom implementation. A good curriculum will not have a significant impact without effective implementation by teachers. Therefore, curriculum implementation plays a strategic role as a link between macro-level education policies and classroom learning practices. This study aims to analyze the impact of curriculum implementation on learning quality, identify supporting and inhibiting factors, and formulate strategies to strengthen learning quality. The method used is descriptive qualitative, using observation, interviews, and documentation techniques with teachers, principals, and elementary school students. The results show that the implementation of a flexible curriculum, such as the Independent Curriculum, encourages a shift from teacher-centered to student-centered learning, which increases student motivation and engagement through project-based learning and authentic assessment. However, teacher preparedness, limited infrastructure, and administrative burdens remain major obstacles. Authentic assessment has been shown to improve students' critical thinking skills and creativity, but requires consistent managerial support. The implication is that improving the quality of learning must be accompanied by strengthening teacher competency, the availability of resources, and adaptive school management so that curriculum transformation has a real impact on the quality of national education

Therefore, parents and teachers must play an active role in guiding their students and improving their digital literacy.

The paraphrastic approach helps children re-express literary works in their own language, improving understanding and critical thinking skills. On the other hand, the analytical approach allows children to identify intrinsic and extrinsic elements in literary works, providing deeper insights. Through these two approaches, children are not only passive connoisseurs, but also active in creating and exploring new literary works. This paper explains the definition, characteristics, benefits, and examples of the application of both approaches in literary activities in elementary schools. It is hoped that by implementing this method, children can develop a better appreciation of literature and the moral values ​​contained therein, creating a productive and creative learning environment.

This study aims to explore the influence of the family environment on children's language development, focusing on interactions between parents and children, reading habits, and emotional support in the family. The research method used was a qualitative approach with in-depth interview techniques involving parents as research subjects. The results revealed that a communicative and supportive family environment is the main basis for children in learning language. Habits such as inviting children to talk, reading books together, and providing emotional support are the main factors that influence children's language development. In the midst of the digital era, parents need to be smart in utilizing technology, by limiting the use of gadgets and prioritizing direct interaction. Consistent communication patterns and special activities such as reading together or role-playing have also proven to be very effective in supporting children's language development. Although there are challenges such as time constraints and children's interest in gadgets, parents can overcome them with creativity and patience. This study provides practical advice for parents in creating a family environment that supports children's language development.

Apart from that, this also shows that the principal's leadership plays a strategic role in determining the success of educational goals. This research uses literature research methods and data is obtained by analyzing various sources such as books, scientific journals, articles and other documents related to the research subject. The study shows that the leadership of the school principal is very important to support the implementation of Merdeka Belajar. As leaders, they are responsible for setting policies, creating an educational vision that is aligned with national goals, and optimizing existing resources to create a good learning environment. The Independent Learning Program, which was founded by the Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology Nadiem Makarim, aims to realize the Pancasila Student Profile by producing students with superior character. Religious values, global diversity, independence, creativity and critical thinking are part of this profile. The success of the Merdeka Belajar program really depends on school principals who are good at managing education policies at the school level. With good leadership, school principals can incorporate the principles of Independent Learning into the elementary school curriculum and make a real contribution to achieving educational goals.

P5 is designed to build student characters who are creative, care about the environment, and are able to work together.
