Beginner students often face difficulties in academic writing, such as organizing ideas, choosing correct grammar, and expressing information in their own words. Because of this, many students use QuillBot as a writing support tool. This study aims to understand how QuillBot helps beginner writers become more independent in academic writing. The research used a mixed-method approach with 30 students from the English Language and Literature Department at the State University of Medan, with data collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire and open-ended reflections. The findings show that more than 70% of the students use QuillBot frequently in their writing tasks. Most students said that QuillBot helps improve grammar accuracy, sentence clarity, and paraphrasing skills, and also increases their confidence in writing. The summarizing feature also helps students identify and restate main ideas. However, 59% of the students noted that using QuillBot too much may reduce creativity and lead to dependency. The study concludes that QuillBot is helpful as a supporting tool for writing, but it should be used in balance. Students still need to practice writing independently so they can develop their own writing style and confidence.

Health education important role in raising public awareness of health, particularly in adopting a healthy lifestyle. With the advancement of digital technology, online health portals such as alodokter.com have become key sources of health information. To ensure effective message delivery, the sentences in expository texts must be clear, concise, and easily understood, preventing any misinterpretation by the public as the readers. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the effectiveness of sentences in expository text on a healthy lifestyle published on alodokter.com from January-June 2024 as part of public health education efforts. The effectiveness of sentences is assessed based on several aspects, including structure and grammar, word choice, clarity of information and readability for the general public. This research employes a qualitative descriptive approach and a syntactic approach as its theoretical framework. Data collection techniques involve the observe and note method. Data analysis is conducted using the distributional method (agih technique) to examine syntactic structure and sentence coherence, as well as the referential method (padan technique) to evaluate meaning clarity and reads comprehension. The research process is carried out in three steps: (1) data collection, (2) data analysis, and (3) presentation of research findings. The research object consists of expository text on online health portals discussing healthy lifestyles. Several articles are selected and analyzed in depth. The data presentation technique in this research uses formal and informal methods. The analysis result reveal the ineffectiveness of several sentences in the expository texts, particularly in terms of their inconsistency with the characteristics of effective sentences, such as unity, coherence, emphasis, and conciseness. The result of this study contribute to a deeper comprehension of the topic being explored. Furthermore, the study is beneficial for the public as a form of health education and awareness.

This study aims to analyze the skills of understanding Arabic letters and reports at Madrasah Nurul Istifadah and identify factors that influence students' understanding, the learning methods used, and the effectiveness of the strategies applied. In a school, the most crucial decision-maker is the principal. The principal as the main leader has the responsibility to direct, improve and manage the quality of education of the school he leads in accordance with the vision and mission of the school. Many cases that occur in schools discuss the role of the principal as the highest leader in the school in making decisions for mutual progress. The purpose of this study is to identify cases that are ethical dilemmas at SDN 004 Teluk Durian to find out the methods/steps/procedures carried out by the principal of SDN 004 Teluk Durian in making decisions, to find out the challenges faced in decision-making in cases of ethical and disciplinary dilemmas, to find out the factors that facilitate or help the principal of SDN 004 Teluk Durian in making decisions. This study uses literature study research, by conducting an analysis by comparing the results of previous research through journals that are relevant to the study of the problem being studied. The subject of this research is the principal at SDN 004 Teluk Durian, Anambas Islands Regency, Riau Islands Province. From the results of the research that has been carried out, it was found that Mr. Muhammad Rauf, S.Pd.SD as the principal of SDN 004 Teluk Durian, the methods/procedures/steps carried out in decision-making consist of several ways, namely (1) Identifying problems, (2) classifying problems, and (3) Practice decision-making. The principal also makes decisions that are in line with the knowledge of 4 paradigms, 3 principles and 9 steps of testing and has a paternalistic type of democratic leadership style. Several efforts made by Mr. Muhammad Rauf, S.Pd.SD as the principal at SDN 004 Teluk Durian in implementing the code of ethics at school for the problem of late attendance at school, students were sanctioned and in line with the violations that had been committed. The challenge faced by the principal of SDN 004 Teluk Durian is that the local culture of the school is still very thick, such as the use of Indonesian language is very minimal in school and the use of technology in accordance with the development of the times is still relatively low so that it is not able to compete with schools in urban areas. The conclusion of this study is that Mr. Muhammad Rauf, S.Pd.SD as the principal of SDN 004 Teluk Durian, the methods/procedures/steps carried out in decision-making are in line with the knowledge of 4 paradigms, 3 principles and 9 testing steps and have a paternalistic type of democratic leadership style.

This study aims to examine how Nadia Omara as a digital content creator plays a role in reviving old literature, especially South Kalimantan folklore, through digital media. Using a descriptive qualitative approach and case study method, data was collected through observations of Nadia Omara's digital activities on platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. This study analyzes the adaptation strategies used by Nadia Omara to make folklore more relevant and interesting for the younger generation. The results of the study show that digital media is not only a means of preservation, but also revitalization of traditional literature. The narrative, visual, and communication style strategies used by Nadia Omara are able to bridge old culture with the modern digital world, as well as build new interest in the richness of regional culture.

This research aims to analyze assistance in making environmentally based handicrafts as part of the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Program (P5) at SDN 3 Demulih. P5 is designed to build student characters who are creative, care about the environment, and are able to work together. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method, this research evaluates the effectiveness of mentoring in increasing students' creativity and awareness of environmentally friendly lifestyles. The research results show an increase in students' ability to use recycled materials to create useful products as well as increased awareness of environmental issues. This program has also succeeded in strengthening the application of Pancasila values, especially cooperation and social responsibility. Apart from improving practical skills, this activity forms students' character who cares about the environment and is oriented towards sustainability.

The research that has been conducted is entitled “The Effect of Falou Application in Improving Students’ Speaking Skill”, with the background being that the school want to implement English as the language in the school environment, but students’ speaking skill are still low. This research used quantitative methods with pre-test, treatment, and post-test design approaches in the experimental class and control class. The population in this study were students of class X Madrasah Aliyah Al – Washliyah Tebing Tinggi. This study used sample of two classes, namely experimental class as many as 30 students from X IPA-1 and control class as many as 30 students from X IPS-2. This study used a lottery method with random sampling style to select the sample. The validity processing tool used IBM Statistics Version 29. The result of this study revealed that there was a significant of using Falou Application in improving students’ speaking skill. This can be seen from the increase in the result of test, namely a Sig (2-tailed) value of 0.01 < 0.05 or t count (19.778) higher than t table (0.361). Based on the findings above, it can be concluded that the use of “Falou Application” has a significant effect on students’ speaking skill of Students in Madrasah Aliyah Al – Washliyah Tebing Tinggi.

This research embarked on a complete exploration of discourse markers throughout clinical and non-medical genres. Through a comparative analysis, awesome styles in the frequency and distribution of these markers emerged, reflecting the specific epistemological and methodological underpinnings of every genre. The have a look at similarly delved into the practical roles of those markers, highlighting their contribution to coherence, argumentative shape, and universal readability. The examination of interdisciplinary articles discovered a completely unique linguistic identification, emphasizing the complexity of melding conventions from more than one disciplines. This research will focus on one of the original Javanese arts in the form of East Javanese style shadow puppet performance “Sumantri Gugur” puppeteer Ki Puguh Prasetyo as oral literature. Dasamuka's journey in fighting for his love ambition for Dewi Citrawati allows researchers to know more deeply about Dasamuka's personality traits. The aim of this research is to describe the personality structure, mental problems and consequences of the actions of the Dasamuka characters. The theory used in this research is Ludwig Klages' theory of personality psychology. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, with video documentation of shadow puppet performance “Sumantri Gugur” puppeteer Ki Puguh Prasetyo which will be broadcast live in 2023 as the main source. The aim of using this method is to be able to present data in the form of descriptions, not in the form of numbers. Data collection was carried out using listening and transcription techniques.  The results and discussion of this research are that the character Dasamuka is included in the temperament group sanguinis, with various negative desires to justify various means to fight for an ambition. In order to justify any means, the character Dasamuka will face the consequences of his own actions.
