This study aims to describe the representation of love in the character of Indar in the novel Bukan Cinta Monyet by Purnama Teduh based on Erich Fromm’s perspective. This study employs a descriptive qualitative method using a literary psychology approach. The source of this study is the novel Bukan Cinta Monyet, with data consisting of narrative quotations and dialogues related to the representation of love in the character of Indar. Data collection was conducted through reading and note-taking. Data analysis in this study employed content analysis, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results indicate that Indar’s representation of love, viewed from the perspective of existential needs, encompasses only the needs for relatedness and attachment. Indar’s representation of love demonstrates an orientation toward brotherly love and erotic love. Meanwhile, elements of mature love such as responsibility, care, respect, and knowledge have not been fully realized. Thus, Indar’s representation of love does not yet demonstrate the maturity of love, but rather the consistency of feelings she maintains from adolescence into adulthood.

Fish farming using the biofloc system is a technological innovation capable of increasing efficiency, production results, and the sustainability of fisheries business at the village level. This study aims to determine the development of fish farming businesses using the biofloc system in increasing family income in Sembuluh village. Then, it aims to understand the impact of using the biofloc system in increasing family income and to understand the Islamic economic perspective on the utilization of the biofloc system in increasing family income. The method used is a qualitative or field research approach with purposive sampling techniques to collect data from 5 fish farmers who implement the biofloc system. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, then analyzed descriptively. The research results show that fish farming using a biofloc system is able to increase family income through increased production and feed cost efficiency. This system supports more controlled pond management, maintains water quality, and produces more stable harvests. In addition to increasing income, the implementation of the biofloc system also strengthens family economic resilience due to planned harvest cycles and group cooperation. From an Islamic economic perspective, this practice aligns with the principles of halal, honesty, justice, and social responsibility, as well as providing benefits for families and the community.

These characterizations are related to the values ​​that occur in the lives of the characters in the novel Simfoni Persahabatan by Fakhri Violinist. This study uses a qualitative method with a structural approach that focuses on characterization and its relationship to educational values. Data were collected through document study techniques by carefully reading the novel and noting parts related to characterization, then analyzed using content analysis techniques to draw conclusions about the values ​​and messages contained in the novel. The results of the study show that the author successfully presents the characterization of two main characters, namely Nancy who has an arrogant nature and often insults others, and Bintang who is humble and always prays to God. Through the characterization of these two characters, the author conveys various educational values ​​including the value of simplicity, the spirit of pursuing ideals, moral education such as diligent study and humility, character education regarding respect for parents and teachers, the value of hard work, responsibility, patience in facing trials, the importance of admitting mistakes and forgiveness, and friendship. This research contributes to the world of education in utilizing children's literature as a medium for character formation, and provides references in selecting reading materials that suit the needs of children's character development.

This study aims to develop a formative assessment model that can improve academic integrity and honesty of elementary school students. The research method used is research and development (R&D) with the following stages: preliminary study, product development, and limited trials. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and questionnaires, and analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The results show that the developed formative assessment model is effective in increasing reflective awareness, academic responsibility, and honesty culture in the classroom. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of integrating character values in teachers' daily assessment practices.

The principal as the main leader has the responsibility to direct, improve and manage the quality of education of the school he leads in accordance with the vision and mission of the school. Many cases that occur in schools discuss the role of the principal as the highest leader in the school in making decisions for mutual progress. The purpose of this study is to identify cases that are ethical dilemmas at SDN 004 Teluk Durian to find out the methods/steps/procedures carried out by the principal of SDN 004 Teluk Durian in making decisions, to find out the challenges faced in decision-making in cases of ethical and disciplinary dilemmas, to find out the factors that facilitate or help the principal of SDN 004 Teluk Durian in making decisions. This study uses literature study research, by conducting an analysis by comparing the results of previous research through journals that are relevant to the study of the problem being studied. The subject of this research is the principal at SDN 004 Teluk Durian, Anambas Islands Regency, Riau Islands Province. From the results of the research that has been carried out, it was found that Mr. Muhammad Rauf, S.Pd.SD as the principal of SDN 004 Teluk Durian, the methods/procedures/steps carried out in decision-making consist of several ways, namely (1) Identifying problems, (2) classifying problems, and (3) Practice decision-making. The principal also makes decisions that are in line with the knowledge of 4 paradigms, 3 principles and 9 steps of testing and has a paternalistic type of democratic leadership style. Several efforts made by Mr. Muhammad Rauf, S.Pd.SD as the principal at SDN 004 Teluk Durian in implementing the code of ethics at school for the problem of late attendance at school, students were sanctioned and in line with the violations that had been committed. The challenge faced by the principal of SDN 004 Teluk Durian is that the local culture of the school is still very thick, such as the use of Indonesian language is very minimal in school and the use of technology in accordance with the development of the times is still relatively low so that it is not able to compete with schools in urban areas. The conclusion of this study is that Mr. Muhammad Rauf, S.Pd.SD as the principal of SDN 004 Teluk Durian, the methods/procedures/steps carried out in decision-making are in line with the knowledge of 4 paradigms, 3 principles and 9 testing steps and have a paternalistic type of democratic leadership style.

However, in Indonesia, there is cultural resistance regarding the open discussion of sex education. Sex education in schools plays an important role in shaping the character and knowledge of adolescents regarding reproductive health, responsible sexual behavior, and prevention of various risks such as HIV/AIDS, premarital pregnancy, and sexually transmitted diseases. This article reviews the importance of sex education as an integral part of the school curriculum, with an approach to preventing deviant behavior and building a healthy and responsible young generation. It is hoped that through appropriate education, adolescents will be able to make wise and responsible decisions, and reduce the number of incidents that are detrimental to them. This discusses the urgency of implementing sex education in schools with a preventive approach, not just theoretical teaching. Preventive sex education aims to equip students with the knowledge, attitudes, and skills to maintain reproductive health, prevent unwanted pregnancies, sexually transmitted diseases, and sexual violence. The implementation of sex education that is appropriate to the cultural context and involves various stakeholders in schools is crucial in creating an inclusive and safe learning environment.

Thus, through this study aims to review scientific articles in order to collect relevant sources related to the urgency of implementing sex education in schools. The method used in writing this article is a literature review. The study began by looking for articles related to the research topic to be carried out. The criteria for scientific articles used as data are in the form of scientific articles sourced from national and international journals with the latest 10 years, namely from 2015-2025. The results of the analysis of 12 journal articles obtained more developed types of literature review research and descriptive qualitative than other types of research. The results of the analysis show that sex education plays a major role in increasing self-awareness, maintaining the body, and forming good moral, social, and spiritual characters in children and adolescents. This education not only discusses the human body, but also teaches ethical values, responsibility, and how to control oneself, which need to be conveyed by paying attention to moral and religious values.

This research aims to analyze assistance in making environmentally based handicrafts as part of the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Program (P5) at SDN 3 Demulih. P5 is designed to build student characters who are creative, care about the environment, and are able to work together. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method, this research evaluates the effectiveness of mentoring in increasing students' creativity and awareness of environmentally friendly lifestyles. The research results show an increase in students' ability to use recycled materials to create useful products as well as increased awareness of environmental issues. This program has also succeeded in strengthening the application of Pancasila values, especially cooperation and social responsibility. Apart from improving practical skills, this activity forms students' character who cares about the environment and is oriented towards sustainability.

One of the most important aspects of formal and informal education in educational institutions is character education. Two types of character that should be formed are discipline and responsibility. Possession of discipline and responsibility are highly valued qualities, as character plays an important role in one's daily social interactions. Helping, grouping, and socializing are all included in it. Character development throughout human life as a whole is closely linked to the process of learning and self-formation. Character development can be achieved in the context of family, school, and the environment, which includes communities and groups. The objectives of this study are to (1) describe the teacher's approach in teaching social studies class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Kunjang Kediri that instills the character values of discipline and responsibility. (2) Determine what motivates and what hinders educators to foster the character values of discipline and responsibility in their students through social studies learning in class VIII A of SMP Negeri 1 Kunjang Kediri. (3) To find out the results of social studies learning techniques used to build character values of discipline and responsibility in students of class VIII A SMP Negeri 1 Kunjang Kediri. A descriptive qualitative approach was used in this study. In collecting data, the methods used were observation, interviews, and documentation. The Miles and Huberman approach was used in the design of this research, which used descriptive analysis techniques through three stages: data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Triangulation of data sources was used in assessing the validity of the data. The teachers and students of SMP Negeri 1 Kunjang Kediri became the research subjects. Based on the data analysis, the following conclusions were obtained: 1) Motivation and exemplary teachers, active involvement of students in learning, self-habituation, and sanctioning violations are strategies used by social studies teachers at SMP Negeri 1 Kunjang Kediri, 2) Strong motivation, family support, school regulations, and the environment are the driving factors faced by social studies teachers at SMP Negeri 1 Kunjang Kediri in instilling the character values of discipline and responsibility to students. Meanwhile, the unsupportive atmosphere and students' lack of willingness to learn make them less effective learners are the inhibiting factors. In this case, the teacher's duties have been carried out in accordance with their responsibilities as educators, motivators, mentors, and assessors. 3) The results of the social studies teacher's strategy in the implementation of cultivating the character of discipline and responsibility for students in grade VIII through motivating activities, students become enthusiastic in discipline and responsibility for the mandate carried out, namely as students. Through exemplary, students have successfully applied and instilled forms of discipline and responsibility in terms of dress, time, and duties through their active participation in classroom learning. This is indicated by students' active participation in discussions, students' activeness in completing and collecting assignments given by the teacher, students' enthusiasm for learning that is always high, self-habituation that has been applied by social studies teachers, the ability of social studies teachers to train students to be more disciplined and responsible in terms of worship, students' habits to help others and parents, and the appearance of disciplined and responsible students, by making efforts to impose sanctions on students who commit violations so that they do not repeat them again and encourage them to be more aware of their obligations as students.
