This research delves into the intricate realm of maritime education, focusing on the academic and professional preparedness of Semester 3 cadets at the Maritime Institute Jakarta (STIP Jakarta). Anchored in a qualitative descriptive approach, the study synthesizes document analysis and cadet surveys to unravel the multifaceted dynamics shaping the educational landscape. The document analysis reveals a curriculum at STIP Jakarta that aligns commendably with international standards, supported by comprehensive lecturer training programmes. However, the nuanced cadet perspectives spotlight a need for refined emphasis on the practical application of English proficiency in real-world maritime scenarios. Cadet self-assessment underscores both confidence in academic intelligence and an identified need for additional language support, calling for targeted interventions. Exploring professional competences uncovers a disparity between technical proficiency and English Maritime communication, highlighting the importance of a holistic approach to bridge this gap. Cadet motivations vary from a genuine passion for maritime activities to the allure of lucrative career prospects and international recognition. Recognizing this diversity urges the need for personalised career guidance and mentorship programmes. The research also sheds light on English Maritime and Literacy proficiency, differentiating between basic skills and the ability to handle complex communication scenarios. Recommendations include integrating advanced language modules and tailored language support initiatives within the curriculum, ensuring a seamless development of linguistic skills alongside technical competences. In conclusion, this research offers a comprehensive understanding of maritime education at STIP Jakarta, unveiling challenges and opportunities that resonate globally. The synthesis of findings and recommendations forms a compass for refining pedagogical approaches, fostering linguistic and technical adeptness in future maritime professionals. The Influence of Problem-Based Learning Strategies on News Writing Ability for Class V of SD Negeri 78 Barru, Tanete Riaja District, Barru Regency. Thesis. Department of Primary School Teacher Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Muhammadiyah University of Makassar. Supervisor I Rosmini Madeamain and Supervisor II Andi Syamsul Alam. This research aims to determine the significant influence of using problem-based learning strategies on the ability to write news for class V of SD Negeri 78 Barru, Tanete Riaja District, Barru Regency. This research is pre-experimental research in the form of One Group Pretest-Posttest research. The population of this study was class V students at SD Negeri 78 Barru which consisted of one class of 10 students. The research instrument used was the news writing test. The data obtained was then analyzed using descriptive statistical data analysis and inferential statistical data analysis. The results of this research show that the pretest results, the average student learning score is 53 with categories, very high 0%, high 30%, medium 20%, low 30% and very low 20%. The average score of the posttest results after using the problem-based learning strategy was 88 with the categories very high 80%, high 20%, medium 0%, low 0%, and very low 0%. This figure shows that there is a significant influence of the use of problem-based learning strategies on news writing ability. Based on the description above, it can be concluded that the problem-based learning strategy is effectively used in learning to write news for fifth grade students at SD Negeri 78 Barru, Tanete Riaja District, Barru Regency.

The purpose of this writing is to determine the factors that influence reading interest and interest in class X MA Nurul Huda Lumajang students through the sociodrama method. This type of research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Class X students are the subjects. The influencing factors are internal and external factors. Internal factors include intelligence, interest and attention, motivation, perseverance, attitude, reading habits, as well as physical fitness and health. Students will not be interested in reading if they do not have the desire, health, physical fitness, intelligence and motivation. Bad libraries, outdated reading materials, some even unused, little encouragement from teachers, no encouragement from parents, parents who do not provide encouragement due to lack of funds, no parental attention to children's reading. Most parents focus more on learning outcomes, reading habits that students have not acquired since childhood. The influence of the reading environment and playmates indirectly influences students' interest in reading. The uncontrolled influence of technology. For example, the influence of misuse of smartphones or gadgets, the influence of television programs on students who forget their student responsibilities.

This classroom action research aims to improve reading skills through Jigsaw type cooperative learning for class VI students at SD Inpres, Sungguminasa, Gowa Regency. The subjects of this research were 40 grade VI students at SD Inpres Multilevel Sungguminasa, Gowa Regency. Academic Year 2023/2024. This PTK consists of 2 cycles, each consisting of 3 meetings. Data collection was carried out using the results of students' work when carrying out actions and observation sheets. The collected data was analyzed using quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis. The results achieved were: (1) students' reading ability before the action was held was in the low category with an average score of 4.88 from the highest possible score of 10. (2) Students' reading ability after taking action in the form of Jigsaw type cooperative learning in Cycle I was in the high category with an average score of 8.04 from the highest possible score of 10. (3) Students' reading ability after taking action, in the form of learning by applying models Jigsaw type cooperative learning in Cycle II was in the very high category with an average score of 8.84 from the highest possible score of 10. (4) There was an increase in the percentage of student attendance. (5) Students' interest, attention and motivation in participating in the learning process using the Jigsaw cooperative model has also increased, this can be seen from the increase in student activity in the learning process. The results of this research also show changes on the teacher's side, initially teachers were less creative in using various Jigsaw type cooperative learning strategies, which had a good impact, apparently being able to motivate and increase teacher interest in developing effective learning.

This research aims to describe increasing teacher understanding of music theory material. As an arts and culture teacher, you don't just focus on one area of ​​art, but you have to master all the material, including music, fine arts, theater and dance. One of the basic materials that teachers must master is basic music theory. There are still many teachers who do not understand the basic theory of music, even though this theory is the initial provision in learning music such as vocals. This can also be proven by the results of singing the score for the song Tanoh Lon Sayang according to the actual punctuation

This research discusses the development of social studies material at MIS Aisyiyah North Sumatra by integrating the teachings of the Koran and Hadith. Involving critical analysis of existing materials, this research sets out development steps that ensure alignment with Islamic principles. Methods include identification of material, assessment according to Islamic values, and preparation of new material. Teacher and stakeholder participation is integrated to ensure acceptance and effectiveness of implementation in the educational environment. This research is expected to provide practical guidance for MIS Aisyiyah and similar madrasas, enabling the development of social studies material that reflects Islamic values, strengthening students' understanding of social studies while strengthening the moral and spiritual foundation.

The research method in this writing uses a type of research in the form of literature study. Results and discussion of this research There are several benefits, impacts and challenges in its implementation, which require support and cooperation from all parties involved in Indonesian language education, as well as improving facilities, literacy, readiness, discipline, responsibility, ethics, skills, competence, and professionalism of teachers and students.

Data sources for this research come from various articles, books, journals and reports related to the research topic. Content analysis techniques were used to analyze the data. The research results show that digital literacy can increase students' motivation, interest and skills in reading and writing Indonesian texts.

Today's society has been influenced by technological advances which have triggered the emergence of slang. National identity and Indonesian as an official language must be strengthened so that it is not influenced by slang.

This research was conducted based on the low reading culture of class VI students being a serious symptom for the continuity of learning in the classroom. Improving reading culture in students must be nurtured and nurtured from an early age and is a continuous process so that their reading culture grows and develops by utilizing reading corners. The aim of this research is to determine the increase in reading culture of class VI students by using a reading corner. The type of research used in this research is descriptive qualitative with research methods in the form of observation and literature study. The research subjects were class VI students and the research object was the use of reading corners. The aim of using a reading corner is to stimulate students to be more fond of reading, to bring books closer to students, at any time students can read books without having to visit the library, as part of learning activities, to condition the class so that it is not noisy, to support independent learning activities, to provide opportunities to students to improve reading culture, develop thinking power, and enrich students' learning experiences.

This research aims to describe learning through the flipped classroom model on Indonesian language lesson content in grade VI elementary schools at SD Negeri Sendangsari. The type of research in this research is descriptive qualitative. The research subjects were 17 class VI students in the 2023/2024 academic year. Research data was obtained through questionnaires, observation, and documentation. Questionnaires were given to students to see data on students' responses to Flipped classroom learning, observations were carried out to see the implementation of Flipped classroom learning, and documentation studies were carried out to examine students' values in learning. The data analysis used in this research is triangulation. The results of the research showed that the implementation of Indonesian language learning activities in class VI of SD Negeri Sendangsari ran smoothly. Educators carry out learning activities in the planned steps. Most students get scores above the KKM or complete. Learning with the Flipped classroom model can be well received by students so that students can get grades above the KKM after learning through the Flipped classroom model. Most students are enthusiastic about participating in learning using the Flipped classroom model.
