Population administration services are essential public services that fulfill the civil rights of the community. However, the process of changing Family Card (KK) data at the village level often faces problems, such as complicated procedures and limited access to services. With the development of information technology, village governments are required to implement digital-based service innovations through a digital governance approach. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of digital governance implementation in population administration services through the LAPAK SARAH application for Family Card data changes in Dayu Village, Nglegok District, Blitar Regency. The approach used in this study is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques in the form of in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Research informants included village officials and community members as service users. The results showed that the use of the LAPAK SARAH application could improve the performance of population administration services, as indicated by faster service times, easier access, and increased service transparency and accountability. From a digital governance perspective, the role of village officials, cooperation with the Population and Civil Registration Office, and community participation improved service quality. However, this study also found obstacles such as limited digital literacy among the community, differences in village device capacity, and technical infrastructure constraints. The success of digital population administration services at the village level is not only determined by the use of technology, but also by the quality of governance and the readiness of the parties involved.

The digital transformation of Indonesia’s judicial system through the implementation of e-court represents a judicial reform aimed at achieving a simple, fast, and low-cost legal process. However, the digitization of civil case proceedings raises concerns regarding legal certainty, particularly in the application of the principle of audi et alteram partem as a fundamental doctrine ensuring equal opportunity for parties to be heard. This study aims to analyze the normative regulation of the audi et alteram partem principle in Indonesian civil procedural law, examine its implementation within the e-court system, and assess whether its application provides adequate legal certainty for litigants. The research employs a normative juridical method using statutory and conceptual approaches. Legal materials consist of statutory regulations, legal doctrines, and relevant academic journals. The findings indicate that normatively, the e-court system accommodates the right to be heard through electronic case registration, summons, hearings, and submission of documents. Nevertheless, technical obstacles, disparities in digital literacy, and potential deficiencies in electronic notification mechanisms may affect the effective protection of parties’ rights. It is concluded that the implementation of the audi et alteram partem principle in e-court has a sufficient legal foundation, yet requires further technical and regulatory strengthening to ensure optimal legal certainty.

Legal problems in the land inheritance process often arise when inherited land has been registered in the name of another party. This study aims to examine the procedure for registering inherited land that has been issued a Certificate of Ownership (SHM) on behalf of other parties, as well as the form of legal protection for heirs. The research uses a normative juridical approach with a literature study method based on primary, secondary, and tertiary legal materials. The approaches used include legislative, conceptual, analytical, and case approaches. The analysis of legal materials is carried out through grammatical, systematic interpretation, analogous construction, and legal refinement construction. The results of the study show that the registration of inherited land must be carried out by the entitled heirs, especially for land that has not been certified. Registration is carried out sporadically as a form of registration for the first time. Legal protection for heirs is obtained preventively through the land registration process, and repressively in the event of arbitrary actions from other parties or government agencies. This research emphasizes the importance of legal certainty in the process of registering inherited land and the protection of the rights of heirs so that they are not harmed by the existence of other parties' certificates. This effort is part of the fair and transparent enforcement of agrarian law in Indonesia.

This study explores the importance of protecting the Geographical Indication (GI) of Lamsi Tobacco from Temanggung to safeguard its authenticity and maintain product quality, in accordance with Law Number 20 of 2016 on Marks and Geographical Indications. Lamsi Tobacco is known for its distinctive taste, aroma, and quality, which are influenced by the geographical conditions of Temanggung as well as traditional cultivation practices passed down through generations. However, without legal protection, the authenticity and reputation of this product risk being diminished due to counterfeiting or unauthorized use of its name. The research method employed is normative juridical, which focuses on library research or secondary data by viewing law as a set of written norms enacted by authorized institutions. To strengthen the analysis, this study is also supported by a socio-legal approach that combines legal studies with social sciences so that law is understood not only as written norms but also as a practice that lives within society. The findings indicate that Lamsi Tobacco meets the criteria for Geographical Indication as stipulated in Law No. 20 of 2016 Protection through Geographical Indications not only plays a role in preserving the authenticity and quality of the product but also generates positive economic and social impacts for the community, particularly farmers. Nevertheless, several obstacles remain, such as low legal awareness, administrative difficulties, and the absence of a strong managing institution. Therefore, coordination between the central government, local government, farmer associations, and the community is necessary to realize effective legal protection. Through the registration and protection of Geographical Indications, Lamsi Tobacco is expected to maintain its reputation, increase competitiveness in the market, and make a tangible contribution to the welfare of the Temanggung community as well as the preservation of local culture.

One example of a case of falsified documents in the issuance of overlapping land certificates occurred in East Luwu Regency and was raised in court through Decision Number 90/Pid.B/2020/PN MII. In this case, it was discovered that land certificate falsification was carried out by a land mafia, resulting in the emergence of two certificates for the same plot of land. This practice not only harms the legitimate owner but also creates laws and gives rise to complex agrarian conflicts. This research uses a normative juridical method, with an approach based on laws and court decisions. The results show that the preservation was an intentional act carried out by one party, with the aim of controlling land rights that did not belong to him. In the decision, the perpetrator was found guilty and sentenced because it was also proven to have falsified documents, as stipulated in Article 263 of the Criminal Code (KUHP). From this case, it can be concluded that law enforcement against overlapping duplicate certificates is very important to ensure legal certainty and protection. Protection efforts for land rights holders are carried out through a land registration process that complies with procedures based on Law Number 5 of 1960 concerning the Principles of Agrarian Law. Compliance with these procedures can provide a strong basis for identifying legitimate rights holders and preventing future damage, including cases of overlapping certificates caused by document falsification. To prevent the recurrence of similar cases, it is necessary to improve the monitoring system and digitize land data comprehensively by the National Land Agency (BPN). An integrated digital-based land system can minimize the opportunity for the issuance of duplicate certificates for a single plot of land, because all land rights data can be accessed and disclosed transparently and in real time.

The public’s demand for excellent service encourages the government to continuously innovate. In response, the Population and Civil Registration Office of Pangandaran Regency developed an innovation called the mobile service pickup program. This innovation integrates offline services to accelerate and simplify the processing of population documents, particularly in the issuance of birth certificates. The mobile service pickup program is designed to improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and transparency of public services in the field of population administration in Pangandaran Regency. This study refers to the innovation theory by Everett M. Rogers, as cited in Prabowo H. (2022), which states that there are five attributes of innovation that influence its acceptance: relative advantage, compatibility, trialability, and observability. The research method used in this study is qualitative descriptive, with data collected through interviews, documentation, and observation. Meanwhile, informants were selected purposively to obtain relevant and in-depth data. The research results reveal that the mobile service pickup program innovation has not yet been optimally implemented, with time effectiveness being a crucial factor for the community. Therefore, this innovation must continue to be developed to gain wider acceptance among the public.

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the principle of public interest in the implementation of public services by the Population and Civil Registration Office (Disdukcapil) of Bekasi Regency, as well as to evaluate the extent to which the implementation of these principles contributes to efforts to realize people's welfare. The principle of public interest is one of the basic principles in the implementation of public services that emphasizes the fulfillment of basic rights of the community in a fair, fast, equitable, and accountable manner. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, where data is collected through in-depth interviews, direct observations in the field, and documentation studies on various policies and service reports. The results of the study show that the Bekasi Regency Disdukcapil has adopted various innovations in services, such as online services, digital queue systems, the use of information technology-based applications, and increasing the transparency of service information through social media and official websites. These steps are taken to improve accessibility, efficiency, effectiveness, and community satisfaction as service recipients. However, the implementation of the principle of public interest still faces several obstacles, such as limited competent human resources (HR), uneven information technology infrastructure, and low digital literacy among certain communities, especially the elderly and people in suburban areas. This condition results in the suboptimal public service oriented to the public interest to the maximum. Therefore, continuous efforts are needed through increasing the capacity of the apparatus, the development of inclusive and adaptive public service technology, and massive education to the public to increase participation, understanding, and awareness of the available services. Thus, the public services that are carried out can really contribute to realizing the welfare of the people as a whole, equitable, and just.

This study aims to analyze the legal protection of Geographical Indications (GI) for Kain Tenun Bima under Law No. 20 of 2016 concerning Trademarks and Geographical Indications, with a focus on the registration mechanism. Kain Tenun Bima, or Tenun Mbojo, is a cultural heritage of the Bima community, possessing high cultural and economic value. However, as of June 2024, this fabric has not yet been registered as a GI, leaving it vulnerable to counterfeiting and misuse by unauthorized parties. The research employs a normative method with a descriptive-analytical approach, examining primary data such as UU No. 20 Tahun 2016 and secondary data from journals, books, and government documents. The findings reveal that Kain Tenun Bima meets all GI criteria, including geographical origin, natural and human factors, and unique characteristics. GI registration offers legal, economic, and cultural benefits, such as protection against counterfeiting, increased market value, and preservation of cultural heritage. The GI registration process involves administrative and substantive stages by the Direktorat Jenderal Kekayaan Intelektual (DJKI),, requiring comprehensive documentation of the product's uniqueness. Challenges in registration include a lack of legal understanding and coordination among stakeholders. Therefore, collaboration between the government, weaving communities, and academics is essential to accelerate the GI registration for Kain Tenun Bima, ensuring legal protection and sustainability as a regional cultural and economic asset.

The Industrial Design Rights of the Koper Generator have been revoked based on the Decision of the Central Jakarta Commercial Court No. 78/Pdt.Sus-HKI/Desain Industri/2023/PN.Niaga,Jkt.Pst. However, even though the registration of the Koper Generator Industrial Design has been revoked, the rights holder continues to exercise his economic rights, thereby causing real losses to the Plaintiff. Therefore, the Plaintiff filed a lawsuit for infringement of industrial design rights and a claim for compensation. The decision on the lawsuit basically rejected the Plaintiff's lawsuit, on the grounds that the Plaintiff did not have legal standing to file a lawsuit for infringement of industrial design rights and a claim for compensation.Based on the results of the study, it was found that legal protection for related parties or parties interested in industrial design rights is only related to filing a lawsuit for cancellation of industrial design rights, but cannot reach legal protection to file a lawsuit for infringement of industrial design rights and a claim for compensation; Legal considerations of the Panel of Judges of the Commercial Court in case No. 76/Pdt.Sus-Hki/Desain Industri/2023/PN.Niaga.Jkt.Pst, is not appropriate, because it does not consider the fact of bad faith from the Defendants who continue to exercise their industrial design rights, even though their industrial design rights (Genset Koper) have been revoked by a court decision. The fact of direct losses suffered by the Plaintiff is not taken into consideration. This can make the judge's decision based on formalistic or procedural justice.

This study examines interfaith marriage and its impact on family economic rights from the perspectives of Islamic law and positive law in Indonesia, with a case focus on Sumedang Regency. Employing a qualitative phenomenological approach, the research involved semi-structured interviews with both traditional and modern Islamic scholars, along with an analysis of religious texts and statutory regulations. The findings reveal that the majority of scholars reject interfaith marriage based on Sharia principles and Article 2(1) of Law No. 1 of 1974 on Marriage. Nevertheless, some couples pursue such unions through administrative religious conversion or overseas ceremonies to obtain legal recognition. These practices often result in legal ambiguity regarding economic rights within the family—such as inheritance, joint property, and financial support—and may lead to familial disputes. Additional social consequences include identity confusion among children, community stigma, and potential conflicts within extended families. The study underscores the strategic role of institutions like Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) and the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) in providing legal education and advocates the need for a responsive civil registration mechanism that acknowledges interfaith marriages while respecting Islamic legal principles. A contextual approach is proposed to bridge the tension between religious norms, legal certainty, and the protection of family economic rights.

This study aims to analyze Legal Protection and Gender Justice for Women in the Practice of Siri Polygamy: Analysis of the Principles of Islamic Civil Law. The practice of polygamy in Indonesia often causes injustice for women, who do not receive adequate legal protection. This study analyzes the relationship between the principles of Islamic civil law and the reality faced by women in the practice of siri polygamy. Although Islamic law emphasizes justice and protection of women's rights, many women are trapped in situations of injustice due to a lack of understanding of the law and social stigma. This study uses a normative juridical method to explore the truth between legal norms and practices in the field. The results of the study indicate that minimal social support, lack of understanding of legal rights, and social stigma contribute to the injustice experienced by women. To improve legal protection and gender justice, it is recommended that there be recognition and registration of siri polygamous marriages, strengthening of legal regulations, assistance for women, and education and socialization regarding legal rights. With these steps, it is hoped that women's rights in the practice of siri polygamy can be fulfilled fairly within the framework of Islamic law and state law.

This study examines the protection of trade secrets in the framework of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) by conducting a comparative study between Indonesia and Malaysia. Trade secrets are a form of intellectual property that has significant economic value for business actors but often receives inadequate attention compared to other forms of IPR. This research focuses on two main problems: first, the comparison of the legal framework for the protection of trade secrets in Indonesia and Malaysia in the context of Intellectual Property Rights; and second, the role of IPR-related institutions in both countries in providing protection for trade secrets. The research method used is normative legal research with a comparative approach and a statute approach. The data used are in the form of primary legal materials in the form of laws and regulations related to IPR in Indonesia and Malaysia, as well as secondary legal materials in the form of literature and scientific journals. The results of the study show that there are significant differences in the legal framework for the protection of trade secrets between Indonesia, which adopts  a civil law system  with special codification through Law No. 30 of 2000, and Malaysia, which applies a common law approach  with a combination of court precedents and statutory law. In addition, there are differences in the roles and functions of IPR-related institutions in the two countries in providing protection for trade secrets, especially in terms of registration, law enforcement, and dispute resolution. The study concludes that despite differences in approaches, both Indonesia and Malaysia recognize the importance of trade secret protection within the framework of IPR, with Malaysia tending to have a more comprehensive protection system based on common law practices. Based on the findings of the study, it is recommended that Indonesia can adopt some positive aspects of Malaysia's trade secrets protection system, especially in terms of harmonizing the role of relevant institutions and strengthening law enforcement mechanisms.

The growth of the digital marketplace presents both opportunities and challenges for MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) in protecting their trademarks. This study aims to analyze the legal protections against trademark infringement of local products in the digital marketplace, identify the challenges faced by MSMEs, and formulate effective preventive and repressive strategies. The research employs a normative-empirical approach, analyzing Law No. 20 of 2016 on Trademarks, the Electronic Information and Transactions Law (ITE Law), and a case study of the MSME MoriGe. The findings reveal that while Indonesia's legal framework for trademark protection is adequate, its implementation faces obstacles such as low awareness among MSMEs regarding trademark registration, slow law enforcement, and the complexity of infringements in the digital space. This study recommends proactive trademark registration, enhanced collaboration with digital platforms, and widespread legal outreach to MSMEs. The research findings are expected to contribute to strengthening legal protections for local product trademarks in the digital era.

Electronic registration of land certificates has been implemented by the Government through the Kementerian Agraria dan Tata Ruang / Badan Pertanahan Nasional (ATR/BPN). However, certificate owners often doubt the legal force of electronic certificates, especially their validity to be used as evidence in court. This study examines specifically the juridical review regarding legal certainty obtained by the owner of an electronic land certificate. The research uses a normative juridical approach, with secondary data in the form of legal materials, primary, secondary and tertiary legal materials. Based on research, electronic certificates have a strong legal basis and have legal force as proof of rights to ownership and utilization of land. Thus, the owner of the certificate gets legal certainty in the form of protection of his land asset rights.
