ANGIN DALAM AL-QUR’AN

Al-Qur’an is a scientific miracle revealed to mankind. One of the scientific miracles that proves the truth of the Qur’an is wind. The word wind in the Qur'an is expressed with the form mufrod ar-rīh and the plural form ar-riyāh, apart from that, sometimes wind is also expressed with the words i'sarun, alŻariyāt, ri Hukum, al-Mursalāt and al-'Asifāt. Patterns like this are often found in verses of the Qur’an which need to be studied so that there are no mistakes in understanding them. In this research, the author used a qualitative approach. Mauḍū'i (thematic) method to answer the problem formulation by collecting verses and wind forms. The author also uses descriptive-analytic methods. Using a descriptive method, it is intended to get a complete picture regarding the interpretation of the verses and the forms of wind, namely rīh, riyāh, i'sārun, al-Żāriyāt, rī Hukum, al Mursalāt and al-'Āṣifat. After conducting this research the author concluded that wind has various forms. Wind in the form mufrod rīh has a negative meaning while wind in the plural form riyāh has a positive meaning. Meanwhile, other expressions such as al-Żāriyāt, i'sārun, and al-‘Āṣifat are expressions for stormy winds. As with the expressions of Ri Hukum, and al-Mursalāt, the wind is described as a force and also an angel. In this case, wind has a connection with today's life, namely that wind can help the process of rain fall and pollination in plants, as well as being a driving force for sailboats. Meanwhile, the strength of the gusts is the same as what was stated by Francis Beufort, who divided wind speed from levels 0 to 12
